Used Hackworthy & Sons for a recent move from the South West to Lincolnshire. We opted for a full packing service as well to make life easier.
Company was very flexible in allowing us to confirm booking pretty much at the last moment, since chain was beset by problems. Moving teams turned up as and when promised, and delivered goods safely to new home, no damage to any items, beds and one large dining room dresser assembled at destination.
On the whole highly recommended.

excellent support from office staff as my moving date kept changing, always helpful and understanding. Removal day, the 2 men were great and so helpful and funny kept spirits up despite all the stresses! definitely would recommend them. thank you so much.

Hackworthys were amazing! They made our move so easy. We had a full packing service as we are a family of 4 with 4 dogs I just wanted one less thing to worry about and these guys were great. We downsized fron a 4 bedroom 3 story house to a 3 bedroom bungalow. We did some of the move on the Friday and then they came back on the Monday with the main lorry full. That was the best thing we did having it spread out, it gave us a chance to clean and unpack over the weekend before the rest came. I highly recommend them. It was well worth the money and boy did they earn it. Nothing was too much trouble for the office staff either. They were very friendly and their customer service was second to none. Not that I'm planning to move again, but if I did, I would use Hackworthys again.

The 2 lads that did our removal was amazing. However, the reason I'm giving 2 starts is because the lorry wasn't big enough for our house move. Even tho I rang the day before and they said it would be fine. We had to do 10 car trips and 2 van loads in our own vehicles. Which I didn't want to do at all. It was so stressful. We had our buyers waiting for the keys at the door. The day after we had moved we had noticed there was 2 holes in our sofa and a massive dent in my freezer, I don't blame the lads as I believe they was under pressure to get what they could in. Also our marine fish tank, (which is the reason why we want someone to do the complete house move, so my husband had time to sort the tank out) completely died two thousands pounds worth. So we are not best pleased. Its took us this long to write anything as we have been so upset.

We had a fabulous move with Hackworthy & Sons! Everything from the quotation all the way through to moving day was faultless, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of stuff to pack up and move but the team sorted it all. What could have been a stressful time was turned into four days of excitement and enjoyment. Everything was transferred from a to b safely, with care, and I genuinely could not be more grateful. I’d have no hesitation with using Hackworthy & Sons again and would thoroughly recommend them!

Hackworthy & Sons were the first removal company to visit us and complete a quote for our move. In the end they were competitive on price, compared to other quotes we received and able to accommodate our removal date. We self packed and picked up some moving materials from their local depot before the move. The team of three who moved us on the day were helpful, careful and worked hard all day to get the job done. I would certainly not hesitate to use them again in the future, our move went very smoothly from start to finish.

Fast efficient service
Crew were friendly, courteous and knew their business - especially when packing valuable and fragile goods - like tvs

The guys were prompt to arrive and were friendly and chatty.
They worked throughout the morning checking in with us to make sure they had understood our instructions clearly.
We felt completly at ease around the team and had faith that they knew what they were doing.
At the other end they quickly emptied everything into the right rooms
I have broken my leg and they were really mindful of this, making sure I had a sofa to sit on ,it was the first thing they unpacked.
The day was stress free and went smoothly. We were very impressed with their hard work and professionalism

Professional at every stage from initial survey, quotation, arrangements for dates, removals and delivery, Hackworthy served us very well indeed. The stressful days of removal were eased by a really careful and composed team who made the job look easy and fitted our whole house into storage that looked too small!
