Really disappointing experience using Gymflow for gym access. I arrived at the gym and the system showed I was already checked in, even though I hadn’t entered the building at all.
There was no way in the app to reset this or resolve it, which meant I was effectively locked out despite having a valid membership.
It feels like a poor system design where a simple “already checked in” status can prevent entry entirely, with no proper fallback if something goes wrong. For something controlling physical access, that’s a major flaw and very frustrating in practice.

Hi Rob,
Sorry to hear you have a poor experience on our app. What you experience was a tail gating prevention feature that is optional for gym owners to turn on, we are aware it's very strict and can result it lock outs.
We advise owners only to use it if absolutely nessicarly as we prefer to have flexibility for users where needed.
If you can let me know which club was using our software I can pass on your experience to them as this is controlled by the gym owner and not our app.
