Yesterday I had the pleasure of having Mark , the electrician from Stockport come to my house to carry out work to my new boiler ....he did a great job and was very helpful explaining how everything worked . He even gave me his own personal phone number in case I had any further problems with the hive WiFi system. Thanks again mark ...great job.

Two great lads arrived to fit our central heating system, Martin and Garry they worked nonstop and had the system working perfectly. They came back the next day to check that everything was running smoothly and did the paperwork. There work was carried out professionally with no problems and no mess very much appreciated. Thanks.

This company has been great from start to finish. We had some pipes that needed covering. The company booked in a joiner, Kenny Hughes, who came and carried out the work to a very high standard. Everything was left clean and all looks very neat. Very happy with his work!

We recently had solar panels installed by GSL. Just wanted to praise the electrician Ash and apprentice who completed the work. They were very knowledgeable and tidy workers and respectful to our property, would highly recommend them.

Today 2/06/2025 we had exceptional help from John. He was patient, thorough and very helpful.
However everyone who has come out to work have been great. Since the work started on the 10th March. I would also like to mention that Zoe who works in the office has been very helpful to us. Thank you everyone.

1.Surveying - 12 panels quoted "found out day of install", no way could 12 panels fit in my roof "this seems to be a common theme looking at your reviews.
2.Quote had additional fuse board which was informed not required as a new board had been installed with 6 spare RCDs
3.Quote received after corrections, 12 panels hybrid inverter proceeded with quote, then got called to ask if I wanted to have batteries at some point if so would need hybrid inverter, explained it was already on the agreed quote and contract, was agreed quote was ok to proceed. I was then called 2 additional times asking the same thing and again agreed it was fine, was called a third time and told you would only proceed with a panel install if I didn't pay so I had to pay for batteries for you to install. This is extremely concerning engaging in this type of behavior.
4.Scaffolders never turned up, called 3pm told they will be here never arrived.
5.Scaffolding still up - whens this coming down?
6.Installers confirmed no chance 12 panels will fit offers £78 refund for each panel, the survey should have picked this up, this seems another common theme over quoting for equipment
7. Electrician called Togo a car charging job "why" at 3pm returned 6:30pm finished 9:30pm, this is not ok, not his fault.
8.According to MCS cert must be issued within 10 working days along with installation pack, never happened till chased.
9. According to contract remaining invoice to be paid on completion, you are now advising this is not correct.
10.DNO was not requested until a month after I agreed the quote even though I was informed it was submitted, obtained the information from National grid show GSL where just misinforming me.

Update Scaffolders turned up today unannounced no knock at the door threw a ladder up to the bedroom wife was in while she was getting changed, Lorraine at GSL advised not their problem.lucky got ring cameras up which shows them entering the property unannounced.

Wonder how they would feel someone looking threw the window while getting changed and not knowing and the company saying not their problem.

With regard to my earlier review..Following instruction from the surveyor the vent was fitted as instructed. After contacting the company to complain, the fitters Ryan and Rhys are back today to remedy the problem. I realise now that they were following instructions. Well done lads the new placement is great. Thank you manager Chris,for contacting me with an explanation and getting your lads here to sort the
problem.

Dave Joyce was very efficient and understood balancing requirements against aesthetics of the install. Very helpful, friendly and efficient during the drawing/survey stage.

I had the Eco4 grant new electric heating, solar panels and insulation best thing ever for me , Good experience all the way everything working great I was told what would be happening from start to finish all went to plan , very pleased with the workmen especially Liam the electrician he was so knowledgable about what he was doing and installing answered all my questions and I had a few ,everything was left clean and tidy every day ,The comunication with office staff was great kept me informed at all times they were so friendly and helpful with any concerns I had. Great work by Kenny Hughes on the groundwork for our EPS earth. Really neat job and hard work considering it’s sandstone bedrock! Lots of care taken and full tidy up at the end. Really polite too!

Very helpful through the sales process ensuring we selected a solar setup that meets our needs. In person survey was useful as it uncovered a few things not obvious from Google maps / satellite images. Installers were really helpful taking the time to explain how everything works and install itself was very neat. Would recommend.

The work carried out was executed as planned within the time scales agreed. The scaffolders and electricians were polite and efficient.
The company was easy to deal with and were professional and friendly.

Grantstore handled my eco4 grant boiler replacement and loft insulation perfectly. All staff, both office and tradesmen did my job efficiently and promptly. Visiting my house 3 times, they always called the day before to check all was OK and arrived within 2mins of their appointed times. All work was done quickly,neatly, with no damage and they cleaned up afterwards. Totally recommend this company
