The program has been working well for me.
I have been wanting to go to therapy…
I have been wanting to go to therapy for a while but the cost of seeing a therapist always stopped me. I found Waji and due to the price I was willing to give it a try. It turns out to work just as well if not better than therapy. They ask the right question and definitely work well with their technique. It worked really well for me. I no longer feel like my anxiety halts me in my tracks.
I love the simplicity of this

Waji has become my go-to when I need some extra support. The eye movements are like a gentle nudge that helps me stay grounded and connected to my body, providing me with some much-needed relief amidst the chaos that WAS constantly happening in my brain. I'm now able to process my feelings and aspects of my past, and it's been quite eye opening. Overall, it has brought me a sense of peace that I never thought was possible. I'm giving 4 stars because I feel there are some improvements that can be made. BUT it is a terrific tool that one day may allow me to fully live a happier life.
Better Than My Therapist
I found this app to be much more helpful to me than the therapist I was also seeing. I ditched her and kept my Waji account until I recently felt I was not in need of it. I highly recommend Waji and will be using it again I am sure.

Waji Makes a Difference! It Truly Works!
After twenty-some years of suffering from panic disorder and agoraphobia (social anxiety too), I've gained some breakthrough using the Waji Phobia app. While using the app, I started driving by myself. The most I've stayed on the road was about forty minutes. And the times when fear arose, I made myself drive a tad bit further, hoping to break the cycle of avoidance and fleeing. Since then, I've been driving about every other day, at night as well, "without" using the app! Still, I plan to use the app when I feel like I'm not making progress or slipping back into those immobilizing mindsets. I highly recommend Waji!

I found Waji to be incredibly helpful in calming strong emotions and breaking patterns of rumination. It was very convenient to be able to do sessions at home at my own convenience. It's been difficult to find a therapist, let alone one I can trust to understand my situation and help me. I am grateful for my experience with Waji.

It just so easy to use! Waji gives me the POWER to work through what I want when I want. It's truly a remarkable tool for those suffering from PTSD.
It's doing something positive for me
I just started using Waji again. So it's a little too early to tell, but using this app is doing something positive deep within. I don't find using it distressing, it's actually quite enjoyable and calming.

Very Dangerous if not used with a therapist...
I am writing to express my concerns about the Gowaji app. As a user of the app, I believe that it can be potentially harmful and could cause individuals to become stuck in their trauma without adequate support.
In my experience, the app brings up traumas that are very serious, and then proceeds to use EDMR without offering the necessary support from a professional therapist. I strongly believe that EDMR should not be used without the guidance of a licensed therapist.
I understand that some users may find the app helpful, but in my opinion, it is not a safe or effective way to address trauma. I believe that the app should either be shut down or changed to include access to a professional therapist.
I have provided documentation to Trustpilot, including my PayPal receipt, emails from Gowaji, my personal mental health plan from Gowaji, and all of my interactions with Gowaji, to verify that I have used the app and that my concerns are genuine.
I hope that you will take my concerns seriously and take appropriate action to address them. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Waking up with Waji
Waji woke me up to a few issues that were dormant for far too long. I had to confront them. I needed some kind of closure. Waji has given me the courage to do what I need to do in order to maybe finally heal!
This is the real deal!!!
I was skeptical because I have CPTSD- I didn't know what to expect or if it would really help me, but having done some EMDR, I was willing to give it try. I enjoy using Waji and it really HELPS!!! If I had to compare this to past experiences with any other therapies I've tried, it's certainly the easiest and least painful. Give it a shot!

Safe and Calm!!!!
I have tried regular therapy and never found it helpful. I wasn't sure how Waji would feel or if it would work but I tried it. I found it to be very calming, and it helps me connect with my feelings so I can process what is going on. I use it whenever I feel shutdown which is less often. I have fewer nightmares, which used to wake me up nightly with sweaty gross sheets. Big improvement and I was able to do this MYSELF. I really recommend Waji.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this…
I wasn't sure what to expect from this app, but as with all things mental health, you need to do your due diligence. That said, I'd been in therapy for years, primarily consisting of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and felt as if I were going nowhere.
After the start of the pandemic, I put myself on waiting lists for new therapy centers after I was nearly misdiagnosed with a severe personality disorder that has no cure and is really scary. After I got in with a therapist and center for individual and group therapy that's centered on DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), they helped me to figure out that in ADDITION to ADHD and anxiety and occasional depression, I have C-PTSD due to childhood and adult trauma.
I've never done in-person EMDR because it's insanely cost prohibitive but I found Waji and use it to supplement my therapy and medications. I've been using it for several months. So far so good but I need to be better about doing the sessions more frequently. It's hard to tell if my last session triggered a mini downward spiral a couple of weeks ago because I also wasn't sleeping well and the holidays usually add extra stress. That said, I've experienced very positive results when I now think of particular traumas I've been using Waji primarily for (past intimate partner violence, to be honest) and I feel as if I'm able to move on a lot faster with my therapy in conjunction with the Waji app!
I think it's worth a try if you're feeling stuck but only if you have a backup plan with a therapist or trusted advisor of some sort to help you if you're triggered. Trauma and pain and the human mind are so complex and ultimately we have to live with ourselves all the time. I'm glad that technology is keeping up with the times and there are options other than $150+ sessions once per week.

Deep healing that's providing me real relief.
Waji is a great healing option that I have found to be extremely helpful and using it consistently has gradually made me be more calm, present and feeling less on edge. My trauma stems from my childhood, so being able to work through what I need, when I need without having to talk about my past is a major benefit for me. It's a versatile tool that I believe is working, and would recommend anyone struggling with trauma to give it a try.
I really wanted to like this app
I really wanted to like this app - but it caused me severe depression after doing well for years and there is a serious lack of response from the company.
From a software perspective, this app is disorganized, confusing and lacking in decision trees. Why do you have three different sign-in methods depending on dates?
If the templated script they walk you through during the sessions doesn't work or make sense to you - it's not going to change. Every session is the same.
I wrote them a very long detailed email on December 2nd after letting them know it had caused me serious problems several weeks before through the feedback in the app. It's the 28th of Dec, I haven't heard back. They charged me for another month in between. I was very open and honest about how this app caused me mental anguish and then I got.....nothing back.... at all. From a mental health company....
The app did help me with very specific 1 time traumas I have experienced - I do NOT recommend trying to lump long term trauma/abuse together and using this method - which is what I did. It's taken me over 6 weeks to break out of the depression cycle that started during that 1 session - and I've been doing great for years! I thought maybe I did something wrong and tried again for the same trauma and it really did make it worse. It felt like it broke my brain and the total lack of response for close to a month is both unprofessional and seriously dangerous for people with severe depression. They need better response time if they are providing mental health services...because the message through the lack of response is loud and clear.........
