After being unsatisfied with my previous accounting firm for many years, I decided to switch to GoForma based on a friend's glowing recommendation. This was the best business decision I could have made!

From day one, GoForma has provided me with phenomenal service. My accountant, Jordan responds to any inquiries extraordinarily fast. He also proactively offers advice about streamlining my finances and managing my business more efficiently.

Within just a few months of working with GoForma, I've gained more practical financial insights than I did for years at my old firm. I'm incredibly impressed with GoForma's commitment to communication, education, and leveraging technology to benefit their clients.

My experience with GoForma has been really great. I did a lot of research before committing to an accountant and wanted someone that specialises in IT contracting that offers mailing & address services. Prompt replies on any questions I have and timely filing of VAT etc. Highly recommend!

It was a nice and easy onboarding process. Also the accountants were helpful if you had any questions.

The only con i would say is, that you would have to chase for an update if there has been a delay in response from them. But they always respond once you send a chaser email.

I would use them again.

I booked a free 20 min consultation from a FaceBook ad/link as I am about to start a business and had a million and one questions about accounting. I didn't expect much because...what can you get for free these days, but I couldn't have been more wrong with GoForma. The consultant I was connected with was called Jawad and he had all the answers (I literally had about 40 questions which he answered succinctly with no B.S.). I cannot recommend Jawad and GoForma enough as they know their stuff and even though they charge a small fee for their services (let's face it, people need to eat!) they will 100% save you money!!! Do yourself a favour, make a appointment for a free consultation with GoForma or Jawad if you can get hold of him, and then subscribe to any one of their packages as this is one company you want to have in your corner as they will watch your back and make sure you're making the most of every penny you're slaving away to earn! If you have your own company, all their fees can be offset in any case!

I switched from a regular high-street accounting firm that wasn't very responsive and wanted to charge me for every little thing. And I'm happy I did! Great team, support and availability - and at a reasonable cost!

Very responsive crew, I can easily book a consultation with an accountant who explains everything intelligibly. I easily incorporated my company via GoForma. I have managed to easily setup FreeAgent to track my expenses with the help of GoForma specialists. I would definitely recommend GoForma because they know what good service is. It is especially important when we are talking about business.

I’ve been using goforma since the start of the year super helpful. Always someone on hand to answer queries. They also use an app to upload receipts it keeps everything tidy. The responses from them are informative, accurate and fast. Extremely happy with them.

This is a small outfit. I used the accountant for a number of years who was great. He left this February and no one from Go-Forma followed up but they still took my monthly subscription. I emailed the main address a number of times and no one even responded.

A few months passed as I was focused on other things but still not response so I tried to cancel my subscription because I thought they had gone bust. Turns out because I was signed up through my Bank Card their system would not let me so I had to cancel my Bank Card and get a new one which was a pain.

And low and behold when no money came in someone got in touch and offered me free months subscription. I finally got back to them today to ask that they clear up my accounts (Missed a VAT return & I've got money owing they were dealing with from HMRC) least they could do for receiving 3 months of my money and my loyalty over the last couple of years, right?

Wrong, got some unprofessional FU attitude reply from some millennial who does not know how to talk to customers. Basically telling me to get lost as I was no longer a customer even though they were still connected to my HMRC and XERO accounts.

Well I removed them, set up digital VAT directly through XERO and did my return in like 3 minutes!

So £90 per month for basically nothing you can't do yourself. I have found a company to do my Co and Personal returns for a quarter of the price and shared my story on here.

Update: To put the passive/aggressive TLDR reply below from the owner of Goforma. Including his patronising tone and advice (defending an entire generation).

This guy continually bombarded me with emails and phone calls starting with, like the reply below “ I am very sorry for the poor service…” and because I would not respond got increasingly belligerent and intimidatory.

To the extent that he told Trustpilot I was lying and tried to get Trustpilot to remove the review.

Trustpilot asked for evidence which I supplied and upheld my review.

So my friend here’s a little advice for you since you like doling it out to others in public.

When you screw up. Take your medicine. Apologise, learn, rectify and move on. Don’t take it personally and bite the hand that feeds you. It’s not a good look.

I have had my share of bad experiences in the past. When I had to open my limited after changing job, I wanted to chose very carefully who I would be working with.

Solid experience all round

I've run 2 businesses before so I'm fairly familiar with what an accountant should do, but this time I was a solo-preneur and so my usual accountant was too much for my revenue. I decided to risk it and check them out. Have been happy with everything. The freeagent software is good and does most of the work, but if I do have a question I can send an email or book a call and then we run through things together.

My particular business is not very complex so it's perfect for me and if I do hire a few more people I can see that most of the services scale out well.

They missed the deadline for incorporation but nothing has been announced.
Update: The incorporation is completed. Goforma is reliable. I was so afraid because their registering fee is the lowest among the agents I found. But It's worth to believe in Goforma.
