Ordered flowers on Thursday for delivery on Friday. Found out sat morning that they were not delivered and called the shop. They were apologetic and said they would deliver on Saturday with a box of chocolates as apology. I called the person on Sunday afternoon and they still didn't receive the flowers. I called again on Monday. Apparently the flowers were left on the doorstep. They didn't ring the bell or call the phone number provided. So nobody knew they were there. And no chocolates. Whilst the flowers looked beautiful, the whole experience was very frustrating and embarrassing.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this florist in Galway. I ordered a bouquet for my mother for Mother’s Day, hoping to brighten her day as I couldn’t be there in person. The delivery was supposed to arrive yesterday, on Mother’s Day. However, I received a generic automated email on the day itself, at 11:52am informing me that my order was canceled due to ‘inventory.’ Not a single email or call came before this; they waited until nearly midday on the day to notify me. I was devastated. My mother lives alone, and I wanted to send her love on a day that meant so much. I tried calling and emailing them afterward, and no one responded. This last minute notice is absolutely disgraceful. I will update my review if I receive any communication back from them, but as of now, this is where it stands. I am appalled and will not be using them again.

It was my first time ordering flowers from Go Dutch and it won't be my last. The service was excellent and my Mum loved her beautiful flowers for Mother's day.

Absolutely fabulous arrangement of flowers which was a present to my sister.They arrived on the day and she was thrilled with them. They also send a video of the flowers just before delivery so you can see for yourself what they are like. Excellent service and thank you very much. I will certainly use them again and have spread the word to other friends who have family in the Galway area.

Excellent service, fast delivery, and the flowers are gorgeous. I use go Dutch about once a month for flower deliveries and we are always blown away but the quality of the flowers and the speed of delivery.

Order GD 33503 – Deeply Upset and Disappointed

I ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday to be delivered on Saturday. They were not delivered.

I rang first thing Monday morning when the shop opened. They apologised and promised the flowers would go out that day, along with chocolates as a goodwill gesture. They even sent me a video of the arrangement being prepared, but I could clearly hear someone say “oh shite” in the background — which did not feel professional at all.

As of 6:20pm (despite the shop closing at 6pm), the flowers still had not been delivered.

What makes this even more upsetting is that it was my father’s dying wish that my mother would always receive flowers from a florist on her birthday and their wedding anniversary. In 58 years, this is the first time that hasn’t happened. This wasn’t just a delivery — it meant something deeply personal to our family.

Instead, it has caused stress and disappointment at what should have been a special and emotional day.

If you are looking for a professional, reliable service with flowers delivered on time, this is not the shop to use

Amazing, super helpful and lovely to deal with!

Not great im afriad. I really wanted to give the smaller local business a go and went for same day delivery (processed night previous) and I paid additional delivery cost even though the area was not far from Knocknacarra. Could not find the Eircode on finder app but I had put the full adress in which has always sufficed and is in Google Maps but afraid to say that they didn’t think outside the box on that one and instead of just putting the adress into Google Maps (they had name of house which is on the road) they just missed the day of my auntys birthday unfortunately. Which was a huge shame as I was sending from America ☹️ Anyway not blaming anyone in particular but was just so disappointing

The flowers were not sent in the color I had chosen on the website. The wrapping was not the same color either; they just used whatever color they found, which did not match at all.

I ordered a bouquet for a family for a friend whose mother just passed away. I received a beautiful video of the bouquet when it was made up. It was delivered on the day and it was beautiful. I will definitely use Go-Dutch again.
