Great light setup. Bright and bombproof. No issues so far.

very happy with my gloworm lights although I dont yet have long-term use with them. I feel they have a nicer beam than my wife's Exposure Strada, no hot spots with the gloworm and impressive light intensity and battery life

After two night rides on this light, I'm very pleased. For the price, this light is amazing and competes with lights at much higher price points. All the accessories needed for bar or helmet mount are included as well as a handlebar-mounted remote that can control up to two lights. The brightness, runtime, and light pattern are great - plus extra lenses for tuning the pattern to your preferences are included.

The light head is light enough that I hardly notice the additional weight on my helmet. It also stays in place easily on the GoPro mount without having to tighten the bolt excessively - hand tight keeps it from moving around while still letting you adjust mid-ride if needed. I have not tried the bar-mount option but the package includes all the stuff you need to mount the light on either the bars of your helmet - items that other manufactures often charge extra for. The included remote control works flawlessly and can control two lights at once - a very cool feature that I hope to use when I get a second light to mount on the bars. The battery lasts a very long time - I started at full charge for each ~1 hour ride and consumed less than 25% with the light on max brightness for most of the rides.

I have only two small complaints:

1) The cable that connects the light head to the battery is fairly thick and stiff. It's beefy and durable, but it is also a little hard to wrangle and I haven't been able to easily route it into my pack without having it rub/bounce against my neck, back, and/or shoulder during the ride. This is a pretty small annoyance.

2) The cable is proprietary even though it uses USB C connectors. A regular USB C cable won't fit into the socket due to the way it is waterproofed and an included adapter must be used in this case. Again, not a significant problem but a minor annoyance when charging the device on one of my existing USB C cables and a small piece to potentially lose.

Lights are brilliant, even with poor eyesight on our regular trails have never had the need to run them on full power and the battery range is very good.
Where I would like to see improvements is in the battery mount. The supplied strap while being long enough it is quite flimsy and with the size of the battery I believe this area need improvement. Possibly two straps of a better construction.

I ordered a new charger and battery for my Gloworm light. Was very excited to receive a strap and the rubber pad to sandwich between the batter and bike frame. It’s perfect and wish I had another for my other battery. Two batteries are great. Can run until one dies, then switch over.

I found the plug for charging a bit finicky. It seems like I need to be extra careful being sure to get it to seat properly.

I’m also a bit surprised by how much battery loss occurs when not in use. My battery loses about 4% in a 24hr period.

I think the light is well built, and the amount of light is excellent. The light is expensive, but totally on par with similar lights, but much better built. So far, the run time on high is unparalleled.

All in all, I am very pleased.

I had to order a replacement battery for my CX light because the old one stopped charging, just after a year of use. I received this new one very quickly, but it's not holding charge as well as the previous battery. Even on the lowest setting, in commuter mode, it's drained in less than an hour. I filled out a form on Gloworm's website almost two weeks ago to report the problem, but have heard absolutely nothing from them. I plan on filling out another request for help, but am honestly disappointed in both their lack of response and the lack of charge hold in this battery. I'm also somewhat dismayed that the original battery was rendered useless in just over a year.

FWIW, I use the light for commuting five days a week (around 20 miles of dark riding), as well as for a handful of early morning and/or overnight rides. I would not say the battery was overused.

Apparently my form submission didn't quite make it through to Glowworm support, but once it did they were very helpful in trying to rectify the problems I was having. The light itself is having some issues with charging now, but fingers crossed we'll be able to figure that problem out as well!

Love your lights. Ordered wrong remote (2nd Gen vs 1st Gen). Have ordered 1st Gen remote now. So have an extra G2 remote.

These are the best lights going around hands down. And their service is great. When my first set wore out (after years) they replaced them for a discount and recycled the old unit.

Love the product. I've had the G1. 0 for a few years and loved the brightness and the battery life. I lashed out on the G2. 0 on sale as I intend to do some extended hours in the dark and like the idea of customising the levels of light. I just came back from a7hr+ session mostly set at 25% output and it lasted the distance. I'd highly recommend the XSV light set which I purchased.

I absolutely love my Gloworm lights. I've had them for over 6 years and I use them weekly for my night ride. They have amazing customer service and warranty. On both my batteries right before the two years the battery was not charging and they totally fixed it.

Solid lights, better than expected battery life. Good lens/light pattern options as well, a nice little bonus. Strongly recommend.

Recently I had a tech support question that they answered quickly by email. I also ordered an accessory from their online store and it arrived promptly. Excellent experience. I own two of their lights and they work perfectly.

Arrived in a reasonably fast time, given that the package had to come across the border. I appreciate that Gloworm maintains a presence on mountain bike forums and is responsive to customers. The lights are absolutely amazing; super bright, well designed pattern, and very small and light. The mounting hardware is fantastic, too. I’m very happy to spend the money for a premium product, I really feel like it is worth the price for what you get.
