We had a brilliant experience today, we bought a rug, then was looking for a bed, we went upstairs and was helped by Peter, he explained the science behind beds (who knew) anyway, we purchased a bed and mattress, we also bought a lovely three door wardrobe, we changed our minds a thousand times, and Peter just kept helping, if this review gets to be seen by Peter, it was "practically" perfect (he will know) we was also helped by James upstairs as our randon wardrobe configuration was wild to say the least. These guys upstairs are a MASSIVE credit to the Glaswell name. Was we happy .. YES 5 stars wouldn't be enough, so thank uou for making our shopping experience happy and fun.

Adrian Capper went above and beyond to give us excellent service on choosing a sofa.

The assistant was extremely helpful and efficient without being pushy. He really helped us decide what to buy.

We were provided with a full assessment of all the sofas/suites available by Adrian Capper without any pressure to decide. We did, thanks to his excellent advice and patience.
It was also so nice to have two helpful and pleasant ladies on the reception desk and again, when the phone was answered immediately the following day when we called.

We visited the BSE store today to view the range of sofas on display. We were guided through the various ranges of sofas by Nigel who was very knowledgeable the sofas available and the different specifications on offer. We were able to put down a deposit and will await delivery. All in all a pleasant shopping experience.

All the staff are very courteous and helpful. Your store is an experience in itself! I first became a customer in 1972/4 when I purchased my first sofa and nest of tables from your small shop in the centre of Bury St Edmunds.
You have an excellent reputation and one that is well deserved.

How pleasantly surprised we were on our visit to Glasswells, Ipswich, today. When we asked for assistance we were assisted immediately by Adrian Capper whose knowledge and advice was invaluable. It was a pleasure to have assistance from a knowledgable, very pleasant sales advisor (it happens rarely these days).
We were also very impressed with the whole store and staff.

I needed a lot of information about beds andgtypes of mattresses and I found I got all the information I needed to buy a new bed and mattress without any aggressive sales pitch. The customer adviser Peter was extremely helpful and made the experience easy and pleasant.I would buy from Glasswells again

Made my experience of matching my living room curtains and wallpaper to my carpet sample so much easier with her advice and experience.

The only time I wasn’t happy was with paying my final payment to another member of staff when Sarah wasn’t available and had to ring Sarah 4 days later to send me my last receipt as it hadn’t been sent, but Sarah again sorted it straight away

I went in to choose three lots of curtaining material and was approached by Emily in a friendly helpful manner.
As we set off on our quest for the right material nothing was too much trouble, her assistance was thoughtful and her time was dedicated to me alone.
I placed my order but later changed my mind on one material but again that was not a problem and was easily sorted.

I was very pleased with glasswell's staff efficient and helpful Linda and Tom talked me through the best bed for my hip troubles. Glasswell has got it just right having them on the floor. Thank you Glasswell Carole Wheatley.

The shop presents the furniture very well and we were able to find the sofas that matched our needs, reasonably easily. We were assisted mainly by Adrian who was professional, knowledgeable, patient & diligent in checking out our queries. We also had limited contact with two other sales representatives, who were helpful too. There was no feeling of being pressured from any of the staff.
We borrowed two sample fabric books in the process, which was straightforward. Today we placed an order for a Parkerknoll - Westbury & an Oliver sofa. We will endeavour to review these items after delivery.

Ordered two sofas......good sales support, a reasonable price and delivered when they said they would.

Need new carpets, Glasswells have a excellent range. We were looked after by Phil who was knowledgeable and offered sound advise. He answered all our questions confidently and made the process easy.

Personal attention by knowledgeable, helpful staff, who will go the extra mile. Very attractive store with improved product range, making it worth the visit.
