Gimoka Lavazza Compatible Capsules are problematic
Used Gimoka for a while, coffee Ok fast delivery BUT all of a sudden most of the Lavazza Mio capsules are out of stock, no ECO Caps. Some of the supplied capsules do not now work with my Lavazza Desea machine. No response when contacted about the problem. Have now switched to the genuine Lavazza capsules with a Lavazza subscription. Gimoka work out at 19p each Lavazza at 21p each
Give them a break!
I have had to put up with a few odd quirks, but I am very impressed with the quality of the coffee pods and particularly the compostable ones, that work better than Lavazza's own, which sometimes stick in the machine. I understand that there have been difficulties in supply due to Brexit, that the company have been struggling with. Do give them a chance, you won't regret it.

After a terrible experience last time…
After a terrible experience last time (in early Jan), i thought i'd give them another chance (as i like the coffee so much). Ordered 12kg of beans on Friday and they were delivered the next day! That was a massive surprise, especially as i had a lot of difficulty with the payment process, and received no order acknowledgement!

Gave one star because there is not a zero star option.
Avoid these people like the plague, they accept orders, take the payment and then silence. I have emailed them a dozen times and finally phoned them. The telephone response was’ we are not. Accepting telephone calls, and you cannot leave a message as our box is full’.
I have contacted my bank to try and get a refund.
Gimoka are a bunch of cowboys ....... go elsewhere.
Pay for 128 capsules but only receive 64, very poor customer service.
Coffee is pretty good but only received 1 parcel with 64 capsules, my order was for 128 capsules. I tried to contact (e-mailed) twice but no reply. That was weeks ago, really disappointing as I’ve paid for 128 capsules but only received 64, really bad customer service.
Nespresso Capsules
The first consignment I recieved (100 capsules) all worked perfectly. The second consignment, again 100 capsules only this time I have thrown around 30% of the capsules in the bin as the front foil does not pierce so all it does is fill the drip tray. I use a Nespresso Pixi. Now changed coffee supplier.
Such a shame as the coffee is very good.
Not bothered contacting the company as they are well aware of the problem considering the amount of reviews starting the same thing.

Really nice coffee when the capsules work. Had to throw half of my order in the bin due to the foil not piercing. Very disappointed, Gimoka have not got back to me, they should be ashamed of their customer service. I am still waiting for them to rectify. Having read other reviews on Amazon others have experienced the same with capsules.

Have emailed & phoned them 5 times and had no response whatsoever.
Looks like they might have stopped trading tbh, but still taking payments.

I signed up and went to pay eith my debit card and was shown unsuccessful payment. I then tried paying with my credit card same message and same with paypal. When i checked my bank ive had 3 amounts taken. Have had no confirmation email of order. Have emailed to say i only want 1 order and have had no response. Anyone else had this issue?

I've ordered coffee pods and received only half of them. Of course, they have charged the full amount. Wrote to the customer service several times, no reply. Tried to call them, again no reply. In the end, I had to involve PayPal for refund. Highly unprofessional and bad customer service. Avoid buying from this seller at all costs!!!

Still no sign of my order placed in september they kept saying it would arrive as reduced staff and i have got fed up emailing them and as i can see lots of other buyers are having the same problem

I ordered capsules on the 5th of October, over two weeks ago and the website still just says processing. I have emailed and have gotten no reply yet after 5 days. Very disappointing so far.
Great coffee
Great coffee, excellent service. Arrived the next day and it’s every bit as tasty as the Lavazza. It’s my second order and I see no point going elsewhere.

I've bought coffee beans from Gimoka for a number of years and found them very good quality and great value. Service and delivery have always been excellent.

Do not use this company! They supply capsules of varying weights, despite a legal weight declaration and need to be reported to a trading standards officer. Some capsules are devoid of any coffee and, including the foil pack, weigh less than 2 grams. The company refuses to reply to any form of contact, including their own customer contact form!!!

Bought my first Gimoka from a local…
Bought my first Gimoka from a local discount store and haven't bought from elsewhere since. I have recently received my second 6 kilo delivery of beans since October and cannot contemplate buying from any other suppliers. Where else can you buy a kilo of decent coffee for less than 2 cups on the High Street? Cannot speak for pods or ground and our delivery experience has been good.
