Had very little trouble with Gigahost, customer service also very good. I moved hosting because this is very expensive (about $1,500 per year, versus my new hosting at $540 per year), and because the servers are NOT USA based, I have difficulties with some vendors whose servers bounce out my emails.

Gigahost is an absolute zero. Never — and I mean never — deal with these people. Both in business and in morals, they’ve hit rock bottom.
Here’s what happened: I worked with them through a reseller and rented a server. Then one unlucky day, the servers got shut down — all of them, including mine. According to the reseller, the company just cut him off completely. But that’s not even the main problem. The server was down, my business was collapsing, and I reached out to them directly — asking for help, offering to work with them without the reseller, or at least to let me rescue my data. And what did I get in reply?
1. If you have purchased services through a third party or a reseller, you need to reach out to them for support.
2. No, we are not able to assist unfortunately.
That’s it. My whole business was falling apart — and not just mine — and they sent a cold copy-paste answer as if nothing happened. This company is pure, 100% unreliability and irresponsibility, mixed with moral decay.
If you want to lose your business — rent a server from Gigahost.

I was charged 800 Dollars for "bandwidth usage" out of nowhere, and support just said it was my responsability to monitor bandwidth usage. These are shady billing practices and should not have been deducted from my card.

Fantastisk support.
God hardware.
Kunnskapsrike og flinke.
Jeg leier to dedikerte servere hos Gigahost.no og kunne ikke vært mer fornøyd. Jeg startet med å hoste spillservere, og har lenge hatt et ønske om å ha serverne fysisk plassert i Norge for lavere ping og bedre stabilitet. Etter å ha testet flere løsninger i utlandet, bestemte jeg meg for å gå for Gigahost – og det har vært en utrolig god opplevelse.
Serverne er raske, stabile og alltid tilgjengelige. Nettverket er solid, og jeg har merket stor forskjell både i respons og oppetid. Supporten er også veldig hjelpsom og rask til å svare dersom det skulle være noe.
Det føles trygt å vite at serverne står i Norge, med god fysisk sikkerhet og datasikkerhet i fokus. Jeg bruker dem nå ikke bare til spillservere, men også til andre prosjekter – og ytelsen leverer hver gang.
Hvis du vurderer norsk hosting og ønsker dedikert kraft og god oppfølging, anbefaler jeg Gigahost.no på det varmeste.

My experience with Gigahost involves the persistent hosting of adult content published without the consent of the individuals concerned. This content is hosted on websites using their services through a third-party (Byteflare). Despite submitting GDPR-compliant removal requests, I received no cooperation they blocked me. Legal action has been initiated. This raises concerns about the company's approach to data protection and compliance with European privacy laws.
