Unprofessional, negligent, shockingly poor service. This is how I started my first review, I then went on generally describing my experience dealing with GIECGLOBAL including describing the communication as terrible and even arrogant. I didn't know that reviews posted then offer the reviewed a chance to respond. Fair enough. The response was to attempt to scare me with legal action if the post isn't removed. This is exactly the arrogance and lack of accountability that I was describing in my first review.
So, to reiterate my previous review and add further detail, I'll continue;
I engaged GIECGLOBAL to apply for a US visa. I had answered yes to a question on the online ESTA application which required further scrutiny by the US officials. I was informed by GIEC that the matter in question was so minor I had actually been too honest answering the online ESTA questionairre. Oh well, better safe than sorry. I didn't want to arrive in the US on a work/training trip with colleagues to be turned around at the border.
I answered all GIEC's questions, filled out all the paperwork they sent to me, and they then transferred that info to the US paperwork and booked the US consulate interview. I paid GIEC (approx $1500) for these services 12 weeks before I was scheduled to travel. "no problem, don't worry' is a phrase I got very tired of hearing from them.
I sent everything through to them almost immediately as it was requested, I called numerous times and asked is there anything else I can do, anything else they need. 'Don't worry, everything is fine".. Time went by and the interview date was approaching, I hadn't heard from them and hadn't received the promised paperwork I needed to take to the interview. When I got in touch again, slightly concerned about the approaching interview in 7 days time it all started to unravel. They asked me to review the application for accuracy before they submit it. There were mistakes, including one question I had answered on their paperwork months earlier which was 'Yes, I have had a passport stolen'. They had entered 'No'. They then panicked and said I needed the police report for the occurence, it was critical to provide this. With four working days until the interview there was no way I was going to achieve this (stolen 15 years earlier, overseas in a town I can't even recall the name of with a less than helpful police force). They then suggested it might be okay and 'not to worry'. I was worried, I had a lot riding on this trip.
The next thing is they realised they hadn't asked me to get a National Police Check. I had asked GIEC earlier as it made sense to me that I would need one, I was told 'not to worry' someone will let me know if you need one. Unable to just 'not worry about it' I took it upon myself to apply for one a month earlier and had already sent it to GIEC. They asked me to send it again.. 3 business days before my interview I got a late phone call from someone at GIEC explaining that I needed to reapply for another Police Check but this time select another one of the "purpose of the check' boxes. Without any previous guidance, when applying for the NPC, I had selected 'Overseas VISA - for supply to a country other than Australia'. I was now informed I had to apply for another check but this time select 'Immigration/Citizenship - for supply to the department of home affairs'. This was bad, the police checks take about 2 weeks to process. I had 3 days till the interview. The team member who called me actually made up a story about how this was a recent change that the US consulate had made and there was nothing they could have done. Not there fault type excuses. I confirmed at my very short interview at the consulate with a US official that this was not a recent change (So, clearly a lie/attempt to deflect responsibility).
I was refused a visa because I didn't have the correct Police Check with me at the interview. I had applied for the new check (3 days earlier) and was told 'not to worry' it would be fine if I just took the receipt as proof of having applied for the check. It wasn't, it was very embarrassing and now I'm about to miss out on the biggest career opportunity of my life.
I ended up getting my passport, with the US visa stamped in it, 2 working days before my flights to the US departed. The ONLY reason I had a good outcome is because I begged and pleaded with the Australian National Police over the phone to expedite the NPC. It took 3 phone calls and a bit of luck to find someone who listened and felt bad enough for me. I had the NPC in my inbox 1hr after that call. That gentlemen's help changed my life. I feel like GIECGLOBAL took about 5 years off my life as it was a seriously stressful experience.
I could go on to describe more but I think you'll get the picture.
They're quick to take your money and from there on the care factor is near zero.

Pretty shocking number of good reviews. This company has been absolutely useless in gaining a U.S. visa, and they seemingly know very little about it. They will be very quick to take your money (non-refundable, naturally) and then show no initiative thereafter. Because of this we cancelled a trip to the US, and wasted over $1000AUD in the process. If you are in Australia, do not work with them.

I'm deeply disappointed with my experience with this company, based in Melbourne, Australia.

I began working with them regarding a tourist visa to the USA, two months prior to my planned trip. My agent, whose initials are M.A., managed to schedule an appointment very far from my city, just before my intended travel date. Considering that, and according to his own words, visa processing takes 4 to 6 business days, I would not be able to go on my trip to the USA at the time when I needed to. Besides, he was responding to my emails untimely and ignored some of my questions. I had to constantly remind him of my existence and re-ask questions I had already posed because they were ignored. When I realized I couldn't make my trip to the USA, I asked him three times to cancel my visa application and appointment, because traveling to another part of the country was inconvenient, expensive, and no longer necessary since I had cancelled my trip to the USA. Despite this, he repeatedly (3 times) ignored this request and tried to convince me to still make the trip for my appointment. He also refused to acknowledge his untimely responses and ignored questions. I remind you, all of this was happening to me FOR MY OWN MONEY. Then he said he'd cancel it and I asked him to inform me when it's done. Guess what? He didn't. I had to email and call the company several times before his colleague told me my agent cancelled everything (but of course forgot to inform me, as he always did while working on the visa with me). I remind you that I paid them money which, according to the contract terms, is non-refundable.

I advise this company to fire all incompetent, lazy, and uncommunicative agents who sit idly in your offices at the expense of your clients' money, and hire responsible individuals instead.

I do not trust this company and would never recommend anyone to work with them.

Adding to my comment: after I posted it, a woman, whose initials are O.G., working for the company called me and asked me to delete my review. She said their other clients leave exclusively positive reviews about them, but even on this website, you can see already 5 negative reviews about the company’s work from different people over time. Anyways, that woman started blackmailing me, saying that if I deleted my review, they would send me an email confirming that my US visa application and appointment were cancelled (which they should have done a long time ago already). I said I wouldn't delete the review. It's my fundamental right to express my honest opinion. Then O.G. simply hung up the phone! This is how "competent" and "polite" their employees are.

Because of Trustpilot's policy, I can't include the full names of these incompetent and rude people into my review and had to shorten them to initials, but it’s not a big deal, their names can be seen in reviews left on other websites, and many people have already seen them here, in the previous version of my review. The most interesting thing is that they don't complain about the positive reviews containing their names, because, clearly, they only like praise and flattery, and are extremely afraid that someone will criticize their laziness, incompetence and bad manners.

They only want your money.

By the way, if you've had problems with them and want to resolve them through the management, they will most likely not even respond to you. I have written detailed and polite emails addressed to the management, having explained my situation both with my agent M.A. and with his colleague who blackmailed me, O.G., and got no response whatsoever. GiecGlobal are incapable of admitting their mistakes, unable to apologize, yet they can pursue you, forcing you to delete your review or complaining about it, which makes their reputation even worse.

Worst experience! Poor work ethics, poor communication, lack professionalism, lack of knowledge, Such a waste of time!!!

I have lodged the file for UK visitors for my wife. It's usually to hard to get UK visa. And I found the GIEC global where team is very helpful and apply the visa with to accuracy. We finally got the visa.
Wife is extremely happy.

Horrible experience. I paid them $3850 for my service and over $3000 in visa fees only to be rejected! They did not know the VISA entry requirements and encouraged me to apply even though I did not meet the criteria. They also ticked the wrong box on the application stating that I was not in a relationship with my wife. Even when I got my rejection letter, they wanted to charge me an extra $3000 to appeal even though I still did not meet the criteria. I would have lost even more money. Found another lawyer who knows what he's doing and the experience is completely different! I would not use their services again.

People in Australia, stay away from this Consultancy! They charge you $70 for the initial 1 hour consultation which most of the top consultancies in Australia do for free!! They'll tell you that they are capable of helping you with any kind of visa services and once you sign the contract with them and pay big bucks, you'll find out that they are infact very inexperienced and unprofessional.

Giecglobal is not there to help us, they are after our $$$. All these great reviews are from India (may be their branch in India is doing a good job, I'm not sure). If you are looking for any educational or visa services in Australia, go for other consultancies that really help you and charge wayyyy less than Giecglobal. And if you are looking to get a visa for Germany or other European countries, find other consultancies and STAY AWAY from Giecglobal. They do not have the required knowledge. I repeat they do not have the required knowledge!

I've been to multiple immigration agents, but this is the only place i saw professionalism. the staff handle the case very professionally. They pay attention to our requirements and suggest all possible approaches. Friendly staff and easily reachable. Highly recommend their services.
