Got an ad from these guys after I was targeted with a frivolous defamation lawsuit, so I made an appointment which was later cancelled when their secretary or operator discovered I’m a disabled SSI recipient with not much in the way of money.

She didn’t seem to understand that attorney fees and sanctions can be obtained from the fraudulent party in a SLAPP suit, so the attorney can easily work on a contingent fee.

It’s all about money with these people apparently. These lawsuits basically threaten you with indentured servitude and it’s nearly impossible to find a lawyer who defends against them in my experience, so this system is utter BS.

Open law made sure that I was available for my interview. They called me in the designated time frame they stated. Sunrise from the Matthew law group was very knowledgeable and helpful made me feel better in 14 minutes than I have in months dealing with this nightmare. Keep up the good work everyone.

The Law office OpenLaw had set my free consultation with was disappointing. It was a lady who rattled the law firm quickly so I didn’t catch the firms name. I had questions, but she was not willing to help. She was more about closing a deal. I was disappointed in that. I felt that the law office they sent me up with was more about sales not help. It was supposed to be a free consultation, but this female lawyer didn’t want to consult. She wanted to close a deal and lock me in. I did call OpenLaw back and told them my complaint. I never heard back from OpenLaw. You would think they would’ve set me up with a different law office to make up for the disappointment of a sales “law office”.

Received advertising for lawsuit against a company, along with duplicate mailer that had our personal information on it. Now concerned that our information could have been accidentally mailed to other persons or companies in the same manner as the mailer we received regarding some tyep of U HAUL issue.
