I used gender care in February this year. After being on the NHS waiting list for three years with no updates (still waiting now) i decided to start hrt privately. I decided to use gender care as all the dr's are nhs certified and work closely with the nhs so i knew i would be in good hands.the testimonials from the gender care website swayed me too. The clinic in london was pretty easy to get to via public transport and i was greeted with respect when i entered. i had my first consultation about 4 months after i initially enquired which i was very pleased about - i then scheduled my hrt follow up which i was surprised to hear i could still attend via zoom despite the covid-19 pandemic. i got all my letters via email so that thre would be no delays from th bpost office and after backing and forthing woth my gp in regards to hrt i started in august :).
i wil be sticking with these guys to guide me through my transition and even if i never hear form nhs gic i know im in good hands.

I wish I could give this service zero stars. One of the shrinks at GenderCare is an openly gay man. I'm old enough to remember when shrinks like him had their claws sunk deep in the gay community. The gay community had to fight tooth and nail to rid itself of them. Now, here he is, with his claws sunk deep in the trans community. I don't know how he can look himself in the mirror. He's a shameless hypocrite. He and the rest of the charlatans at GenderCare are leeching off the trans community. They are parasites.

Instead of wasting your money at GenderCare, I recommend you use the GenderGp service, which has a far better understanding of trans people, their lives and their needs than the clowns at GenderCare will ever have. You're welcome!
