I am extremely disappointed that Gellifique is no longer HEMA free, especially after investing a LOT of money into this brand for this very reason!

I received some very unclear email in May 2022 about some of the products being affected by the presence of HEMA but this didn't state that they were changing all their ingredients: -

Excerpt from email:
"Dear clients,
We would like to bring to your attention an important announcement.
As a brand that invests heavily in quality assurance, Gellifique has always been committed to ensuring the validity and reliability of our products and ingredients. In line with this, we have recently invested in advanced testing and technology which has allowed us to further test our formula post-production. This new data, has shown to us a presence of 2 - hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) in selected products which we previously believed to be completely HEMA free.

It is important to highlight to you that not all products were affected and that we do not add 2 - hydroxyethyl methacrylate during production."...

So from this email I would assume that customers have to be careful and watch out for any allergic reactions. WRONG - I placed an order recently and when I received it, upon randomly checking the ingredients on a bottle, I noticed that EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE has HEMA in it! They have clearly been re-labelled as stated in the email.

There is a tiny notice at the foot of the invoice referring to the change in ingredients but who reads the invoice before opening their items?!

This isn’t really good enough – a lot of people trusted and used this brand for the very good reason that they were HEMA free. As a sufferer of contact dermatitis myself I feel very let down by the company. I have already had to dispose of one collection of gel polish that I was allergic to (a professional brand that contained high amounts of HEMA) and cannot afford to do this again.

I used to recommend Gellifique but will no longer do so.

Ordered a week ago and items have not even been dispatched yet, not happy with service.

Site easy to navigate, my order was processed and delivered very quickly, with email updates.
I had never used the brand before and was looking forward to trying it after being interested for a while.

I am very pleased with the quality and application of my new products, I’ll definitely be replacing some of my current brands after trialling the products on myself and clients.

The free gift was also a really nice touch and very appreciated— I hadn’t ordered either of the items I received, or wanted to, but having tried the lint free wipes and the topcoat, I’ll actually be replacing my current supply with these when I’ve run out, so I was grateful for the chance to discover something new that I’ll be continuing to purchase going forward.

I first tried a couple of these products from the Scottish beauty show and really like how the products were easy to use.
I have also spoke to some of the staff via email whom were all super helpful too.

Gellifique have been amazing for my business. I find their honesty really helps me to trust the brand. Communication is always fantastic as is speed of delivery. The products are phenomenal - I use the builder in a bottle and the hard gel and I’ve had no clients at all complain of heat spikes. The colours are lovely to work with, most have fantastic coverage and the top coats are all incredibly shiny. I just can’t fault it!
