So they sent the wrong items. It happens.

After a bit of to-and-fro they accepted that they'd make a mistake and they asked me to donate the items to a local charity.

And they would refund me...

Nice, right?

Only the refund never arrived.

Maybe I shoulda just chased it up and not written a bad review, we all make mistakes…

Right?

Like putting 5 jars of pesto in an eco-friendly-stay-fresh-recyclable £8 delivery package .

Why?

A few jars of pesto ain’t gonna perish. Where’s the common sense and roots based, ethically mindedness?

Too many mistakes in one simple order.

I've started ordering meat every week/other week with raw milk and other bits. One of only a few places that provides good quality organic, grass-fed meat and raw milk.

I've had some decent meat from gazegill but the main reason I ended up buying anythning from them was to get their raw milk. We had raw milk available overseas so wanted to continue that here but what we got lasted 2 days before going off 5 days before their claimed expiry date.
Yes I know it's raw and it could be because their courier left it on the doorstep in the sun without knocking or ringing because he didn't want to interrupt the converstaion on his phone with his mate about the size of the "trustpilot doesn't like this word" on the woman they were discussing (external cameras are a blessing and a curse). But 2 days use and throwing most of it away at £4 a litre means I won't be ordering more, and meat I can get from anywhere.

We ordered for the first time towards the end of the year. We wanted some organic pigs in blankets and decided to add some sausages, a couple of chickens and some diced beef. We've tried everything now and every mouthful has been outstanding. We will be ordering again.

I can't fault them. I've had two deliveries so far and everything has been fresh and delicious. Well-packaged and delivered in the time slot they said they'd deliver it. Communication is good too. Thank you.

Great milk and meat. Highly recommend.

The quality of the sausages and meat always great but the current packaging of the sausages not so good. Causes them to dry rapidly where they touch the packaging. You lose bits of the sausage to it and sometimes it pulls away with paper on it. Not great for freezing as problem gets worse. The quality of the product always great but the current packing is an issue.

Gazegill does the best raw milk I have ever tasted. I will never buy milk anywhere else after drinking Gazegills. So beautiful! Thankyou for your wonderful organic & ethical farming and all your hard work 🐮🥛😋

Great little find! We’ve bought from here now for around 4 months and every time we’ve enjoyed the quality produce and easy process when ordering.

This last time we ended up visiting the farm, we’re so pleased we did. It was such a delight to see the animals enjoying the outdoors… we especially loved to see the piglets having fun!

Ian the farm owner also gave us a mini tour and explained a lot which we didn’t know about organic farming. We met the cows, goats and more pigs.

We recommend the Cumberland sausage, raw milk and bacon and a visit if you can.

I paid £40 for organic sub standard beef sausages. Items arrived and looked nothing like images. They were more like thin frankfurters or hot dogs. Cooked two in hot air fryer and was shocked at the amount of impurities and sum that came out of these. They shrunk even further and we’re dry and considering all the listed ingredients it taste bland and unnatural. Tried deep frying a couple exactly the same. I feel robbed and very angry. I definitely do not recommend these at over £6 for 12 items.

Have used a number of times and all is very good! High quality organics! Delivery good too!

The quality just was not there, we are very disappointed with the order. Overpriced and mostly inedible.
Save your money and do not order from this company.

My family are loyal customers of 8 years. To begin with we bought raw milk for it's health benefits after reading articles on westonprice.org. It's delicious and nutrient dense. The whole family have benefited. We don't buy supermarket beef anymore, the taste just doesn't compare. A couple of minor issues with the courier since covid but resolved.

After many wonderful deliveries over the years, I can only thank Gazegill for all they do, kindness, organic, locally sourced, a big thank you.

I buy meat from Gazegill on a regular basis. Their bacon is definitely the best that I have tested. It is not that easy to get organic bacon, also nitrate free, and so I am glad to have found them.

Gazegill raw organic milk really cannot be beaten - I have been ordering for years now and it's undoubtedly worth the money.

I am genuinely perplexed by the negative reviews. This is one of 2 farms from which I buy large bulk of raw milk and I have had nothing but great experiences from both but yet this other farm also has a low review score, at odds with my personal experience. Perhaps this is becasue people are only motivated to leave feedback if they have a bad experience but let it be known, this milk is unbeatable and the service has been very reasonable the entire time.
Regarding the packaging and the milk temperature (having seen previous complaints in this respect), I have even mistakenly booked the delivery to my work address on a day off and have had the box sitting outside all day and into the evening and the milk was still nicely chilled when I got there.

Top top product. The liver from this farm is also un-paralelled in quality - cant recommend highly enough.

I am so shocked by the reviews on this site! I have been ordering from Gazegill at least once a month for nearly three years, and a really can't relate to any of these negative comments.

We have consistently ordered; milk, butter and meat and the quality has always been outstanding. In three years, there has only once been an issue with the courier (not Gazegill's fault really!) and I was immediately offered a full refund, even though the meat was totally fine (so I declined the offer for a refund and we ate the perfectly good meat). All through covid the service has been pretty much as good as normal too.

In my opinion everyone should be supporting small businesses and sourcing their animal based produce from companies such as these because they are SO much more sustainable, nutritious and SO much better for animal welfare and the environment. I also love that I can get quality produce delivered to my door, unlike many farm shops.

I never hesitate to recommend Gazegill to anyone. I urge you to give them a try!
