We had a tiny leak appear in our attic .A couple of specs appeared on one of the bedroom ceilings . As you do , you hope it's from something other than a leak . The minute we found the leak , we rang a few roofers . This company came out , the guy at first seemed very bubbly , talked the talk , but my suspicions kicked it . I suspected the worst and I was right . As one guy stood at the door talking to me , a relation of his had gone up on the roof . After removing some tiles I heard a rip sound , like wood splitting . At that point , the guy who spoke to me at the door , came over to me looking for 1,600 cash up front . I had been quoted 900 for the job originally . You're left with a sickly feeling of being screwed over and no choice but to get whatever damage has now been done fixed . Long story short . We were left with a mess . Cement all over our drive and shed roof . The job was a disaster . A grey like paint running down the side of our house . When it did rain again , our attic was flooded . We ended up getting another roofing crowd who fixed the problem with our roof , They also took photos of the damage we had been left with . The new roofing crowd charged 480 after all the work was done .
