This enterprise is definitely a scam. I cancelled my membership after one year and my credit card was charged again the next year. I have tried to contact someone but there is no way to contact those involved. When I did get a response by email I was told "they would look into it." There was no name to this email and of course no one looked into it. I do not expect any one will deal with it and reverse the charge. I cancelled my visa card to avoid being charged again next year. I have reported gallerisoho as a fraudulent organization to my bank and hope they will reverse this charge on my credit card.

I've been a professional artist, photographer, and filmmaker for over 40 years. My own artwork is in the permanent collections of MoMA, NYC - The Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art, Amsterdam, and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, Washington DC.
I admit when I originally was contacted by The Gallery to exhibit with them, I had concerns about their intent. Over the past year, I have come to know the Gallery well, and it's co-owner Ghada Zaky.
I can now tell you, and without reservation, that this Gallery is the real thing, and I highly recommend your investigating the benefits of membership!
I am proud to be a member of this gallery, and to have my artwork represented by them.
I've rarely come in contact with a gallery that works as hard for its artists, and always puts the artist first!

They mass-email artists claiming that they love their work and offering the chance to subscribe to their online gallery and also pay commission on any sales. No risk for the gallery, all costs to the artists. They have an exhibition space in Sweden and claim to exhibit internationally but it isn't clear on their website which international exhibitions actually took place. A January 2026 exhibition is still marked'details coming soon'. I have not followed up or become a member. The generic 'your work really speaks to us' type email is warning enough to avoid this model.

They don't do what they say they're going to do. I was supposed to get an ad campaign and nothing happened. They canceled meetings. They don't return emails. When they do do something they do it grudgingly. It wasn't worth the money,

I have been with Galleri Soho since October 2024. They contacted me through my website with a nice message about appreciating my work, telling me about their company and with an offer to join their group. After a Google meeting with CEO/Co-Owner, Ghada Zaky, who was very forthcoming in answering my questions and concerns, I decided to join at the first level of membership so as to get to understand their “vision” and operation better. (I later upgraded to Home Artist}. As well, Ghada has always been very helpful and considerate in responding to my needs for meetings and/or answering inquiries as they come up.

I use the word “vision” because both Ghada and John, I believe, are true visionaries. Their concept of a combining a brick-and-mortar approach of selling art (in gallery spaces) with a digital-age, online, international marketplace is so smart and forward-thinking. They then combined that with also being an artist collective and then added in Pop-up exhibits in major international cities! It is cutting edge and just amazing. The thing that makes this work, however, is their own creative gifts which are being driven by an apparent passion and commitment to art and their artists. They have amazing abilities to pick wonderful, aesthetic venues, curate shows beautifully, write about art, and employ well-designed digital graphics to promote the artists and exhibits via social media. They are very professional and so are the events. They boldly try new things and seem to always be striving for the best approach and the best venues. A great combo all around.

I was approached by a representative of the gallery in the summer 2024 and have been one of their so-called "Home Artists" since then.
I have been impressed their operation: the facilities in Sweden and Egypt, as well as their remarkable series of pop-up exhibitions in Amsterdam, Paris and even Dubai just since I joined--I believe one in Toronto is also in the works for later this year. As a Home Artist, my work has featured in all of them.
From time to time, I've also noticed my work on the walls in the pictures of the interiors of the gallery showing on their website.
Ghada Zaky, one of the co-owners and my contact there, has always been friendly and gracious, a pleasure to work with.
I live in the greater Washington, DC, area and GalleriSoho's membership fees are comparable to--in fact, less than--several of the galleries in this area.
In sum, no complaints from me so far.

Jag har samarbetat med Galleri Soho i många år. De har stöttat, samtalat och på alla sätt gjort det jag förväntar mig av ett galleri, att vara mitt ansikte utåt.

I write this as an art buyer. After we had moved in to our new flat in Västerås, which was about three years ago, we bought some paintings, other visual art, and ceramics at Gallery SoHo. Should say our apartment is not *brand new*, it is new for us. The art we found works so well with our situation. It makes the rooms vibrant with energy and looking good, totally without us having renovated the flat at all (yet, it is our plan...). What I'm trying to say is that the gallery presented us for art that is meaningful for us. Visitors have expressed appreciation as well.

I flew to Västerås in Sweden to meet the Directors of Galleri Soho. I was thoroughly delighted with the beautiful gallery space they own.
I was greatly welcomed and I felt like was joining a family. I met other artists dropping off work and my paintings were hung while I was there. It was a great experience. I joined as a home artist due to the benefits. I am soon exhibiting in Amsterdam with Galleri Soho as part of a pop-up exhibition near the Van Gogh museum,
I would highly recommend Galleri Soho, their on-line promotions are great and you sell work via their on-line shop.

My name is Angelika, I work at the Gallery Soho in Västerås. What I can say about my two bosses is that they are the most amazing people I have ever met! They work hard beside their employees, they give advice on how to develop and increase the results. Also, they also show up at time at the video meetings with our lively clients. About the Gallery, it is Worldwide know and it’s reputation is the best of reputations. The Gallery respects the deadlines, rules and conditions, the Artists are very happy with our services (on line and in the 3D). Gallery Soho has a great future because it applies a daily development and creativity and innovation by using new types of arts. For me, working with Ghada and John is like working with serious and friendly people. They put their hearts and their sweat for their Gallery! I am proud to work for them and with them.

Best thing about Gallerisoho.se is that it's so Easy to buy art from a wide variety of artists from around the world, Got in direct contact with the artist after i bought the work and then she shipped to me. Perfect Service, Thanks!

Update: Ah, look at the message below from said vanity gallery, defending their artist-fleecing practices.
I do not claim to be a member in my post, but have realized after reading your membership conditions and costs for artists to become affiliated with you, that you are a vanity gallery - and am warning naive artist colleagues about this!
Charging membership fees plus commission from any artwork sales plus putting all the work of posting artwork, social media and advertising for our artworks on the artist is despicable. And the hallmarks of a vanity gallery.
Attacking me for pointing out the obvious and warning others is not speaking in your favor.
Here my original review:
I received an email from this (vanity) gallery, praising my art and asking me to join their artist roster. Turns out that they are a vanity gallery, charging artists a membership fee of € 150 annually in order for the artist to even exhibit, plus charging commission on any artwork sales on top of that...tststs. And if you read through all their conditions, they call it offer, you realize that for all that $ the artist will have to do all the work. Posting the artwork + all that goes with that, doing the advertising on social media and driving traffic to their site.
Any art gallery asking artists to foot the bill for exhibitions in their spaces is only using the naive artists. Legit art galleries make their money by finding buyers for the art they exhibit, selling that art and ergo making their income by way of getting a commission on that sale - so that the artist actually makes money off the sales of their art.
Beware of the vanity gallery, fellow artists!
