All good and got paid what was quoted.

All good and got paid what was quoted.
Only reason for loosing one star was because they were very slow and confirming receipt of item.
I understood that there was a bank holiday ‘in-between’ this but I wasn’t informed of their trading hours during that period. Also no mention of closure when trying to call them.
To summarise… all good, but could be better

Annoyed and should’ve checked reviews first

Got advised £230 for my Dad’s iPhone 14. It was in great condition, considering it being a few years old - so obviously wasn’t going to be perfect. Received an email report from them, pushing the item down from excellent to poor, and now down to around £170.. Because it had teeny tiny marks that no one but an expert could see.
Unfortunately after reading reviews on here, people experience the exact same thing.
We are still getting money for it, so we’re grateful we’re getting a ‘lot’, but it’s only about 2/3 of what was advised.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with the revised offer for your dad’s iPhone 14.

The original quote is based on the condition selected when the order is created. Once a device is received, it is fully checked and assessed against our condition criteria. In this case, the device was found to have marks that meant it did not meet our ‘Excellent’ condition standards, which is why a revised offer was made.

We understand that small marks may feel minor, especially on a used device, but our condition categories do have to be applied consistently across all devices we receive.

Please be assured that there is no obligation to accept a revised offer. If you are not happy with the revised valuation, we can return the device free of charge.

We’re sorry the final offer was not what you were expecting, but the revised valuation was based on the results of our assessment and the condition of the device received.

I sent an immaculate Apple Watch for…

I sent an immaculate Apple Watch for which I was offered £170. But I then received an offer of £120. Because apparently it had scratches on the screen. I received an image of what was supposedly my watch with damage to the screen, but I couldn’t prove that this wasn’t my watch or that it had been damaged purposely. I also had to email to get my money. Shocking company

Your Apple Watch was originally submitted as being in “good” condition. However, during our inspection, our technicians identified visible scratches on the screen which meant it fell into a lower condition category. Because of this, a revised offer was made to reflect its actual condition. We also provided imagery to show exactly what was identified during testing.

We understand that this can be frustrating, but customers are always given the choice to accept the revised offer or have their device returned free of charge. In this case, the revised offer was accepted and payment was processed accordingly.

We’d also like to clarify that we did not receive any contact raising concerns about the revised offer prior to acceptance. Had you reached out, we would have been more than happy to review this with you.

In addition, payments are processed automatically once an offer is accepted and completed within our standard timeframe. Customers do not need to contact us to receive payment.

Finally, we would never intentionally damage a customer’s device. This would not benefit us in any way, as a device’s condition directly affects its resale value.

We’re sorry again that you feel disappointed, but we hope this helps clarify how the process works.

Sent an Apple Watch in that was in perfect condition, then received pictures of a watch that had huge scratches on the screen and was offered half the amount.
Didn’t even look like the watch I sent .
My watch had not one scratch on the face as I hadn’t used it for 7 years . It was as good as new
I packaged it in a sturdy box completely fully of bubbly wrap
Absolutely no way it could have got damaged.
I have asked for it to be returned.

I am not the only one to give similar review .

As you can see I have had the response from the company .

They are suggesting that I am accusing them of deliberately damaging the item , which I am not .
I am saying that the pictures they sent is not my watch .
My watch had been sitting in a drawer for over 7 years not being used .
I even clean the watch very carefully and I was amazed at how good the condition was .
However the pictures I was sent looked like a completely different watch as I would not have sent something as bad as that .
I am suggesting there must be some kind of mix up .

You be your own judge but I would not be using them ever again .
It will be interesting to see the state of my watch , check serial number when it returns .

All devices we receive are assessed based on their condition at the time of arrival. In this case, our inspection identified damage to the screen, including a crack, which has a significant impact on the device’s value and resulted in a revised offer being made.

We do acknowledge your comments regarding the packaging, and we agree that the item was well packaged on arrival. Given this, it is highly unlikely that this type of damage would have occurred during transit. In our experience, damage in areas such as the corner of a screen can sometimes go unnoticed.

We would also like to reassure you that we would never intentionally damage a customer’s device, and all items are handled carefully throughout our process. Each device is logged, inspected, and photographed individually to ensure it is correctly matched to its order.

Ultimately, we can only assess a device based on the condition it is in when we receive it. Based on our findings, the damage was present at the point of inspection.

As with all revised offers, you were given the option to accept the new valuation or have your device returned free of charge, which we understand you have chosen to do.

We’re sorry again that you’re disappointed with the outcome, but we hope this helps clarify the situation.

It was very easy


It was very easy. I received my price on line in seconds, packaged it and applied their paid for postage (48 hour postal service) and received money into my bank account 10 days after posting.

They used to be a reliable company

They used to be a reliable company. Tried to sell my ps5 - with box and all original accessories. They tried to get a discount of £105 for cleaning DUST. 100 pounds because they need to clean the device and for an issue they think the device can have in the future - more expensive than a house cleaner!! Such a Joke.

When your console arrived, it underwent a full inspection by our technicians. During this process, we found that the device was heavily clogged with dust internally. This was not a simple surface clean, but required a full internal strip-down to address, as the build-up was affecting airflow and causing the console to overheat.

Overheating can present a risk to the long-term performance and reliability of the device, and in some cases, may already have caused underlying issues that are not immediately visible. This is why a significant adjustment was made to the original offer, to reflect both the current condition and the potential impact on resale value.

We completely understand that this may have been unexpected, especially if the console appeared fine externally. However, our valuations are based on both external and internal condition following inspection.

As with all revised offers, you were under no obligation to accept the new price and had the option to have your console returned free of charge.

We’re sorry again that you feel disappointed, but we hope this provides some clarity on how the revised offer was determined.

This company is a total con

This company is a total con, they only pay out a fraction of the price they offer online, despite my gadget meeting all the criteria that they advertised on their website for the conditions that I declared. When I refused the offer and asked for my gadget to be returned they went silent. Avoid using.

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company. Offered me way below the original offer for my PS5. Payment took 2 weeks! They are impossible to get hold of, don’t answer emails or the phone. Will not use again! AVOID!

Terrible company ! Avoid ! Make you wait a long time with no customers support then try to give you a very low price feeding off the vulnerable who will take that low offer stay clear !

The device you sent in was originally listed as being in Good condition, but on inspection, our technicians found several cosmetic flaws that didn’t meet the criteria for that grade. In line with our Price Promise, we provided a revised offer based on the actual condition and age of the device. You chose to decline this offer, and as promised, we returned your device to you free of charge at no cost.

We want to be very clear, we absolutely do not “feed off the vulnerable.” Our service is built on transparency and fairness, and customers are never under any obligation to accept a revised offer. If a device doesn’t match the described condition, we always provide a detailed explanation and give the option to have it returned completely free of charge.

Not worth the hassle

Giving laptop for parts worth 150 for £17, just for the sake of not creating more electric garbage yet still multiple back and forth and finally got £5 😂 not even worth the hassle. Go somewhere else

For clarity, the device you sold to us was listed as Not Working. Upon inspection, we found that it was still linked to an iCloud account. As per our terms, all devices must be removed from iCloud before we can proceed, even if they are faulty. This is because an iCloud-locked device cannot be resold or repurposed, making it uneconomical to repair.

We reached out to you requesting the iCloud lock be removed, and although you advised that it had been done, the device remained locked upon rechecking. You later confirmed that it was not possible to remove the iCloud account, and we therefore provided a revised quote based on its locked status, which you accepted.

We understand you may have expected a higher value for your device. However, a 2018 MacBook that does not power on and is iCloud-locked has minimal market value, which was reflected in our offer.

We always aim to be as transparent and fair as possible, and we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed on this occasion.

Easy to use service

I was a little sceptical at first, I've never used a service like this before but it was actually very straight forward. Easy to post, reasonable offers based on the condition of the devices and fairly quick payment. Very happy with the service and would use again.
