Deceiving 30-Day Return Policy

On April 19, 2026 I placed an order for four dresses for a total cost of $256.94, including shipping. The website says that Fynony offers a "30-Day Return Window". I decided to keep one dress, and return three. The items that I wanted to return were eligible according to their policy: "unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, with original tags and accessories, and in the original packaging (opened bags/boxes are acceptable)."

The return policy lists the following steps for returns:

"How to Start a Return
- Email us at [customer service email] with your order number.
- Our team will guide you through the return or exchange process.
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be issued within 5–7 business days."

On May 7, 2026 I emailed their customer service inbox with my order number. On May 8, 2026 Fynony's reply was "Since international return shipping can be costly, we can also discuss budget-friendly alternatives like partial refunds if you prefer not to send them back."

On their Return Policy page, they conveniently don't mention where the return address is. There's only a brief mention of "international shipping cost," which is easily overlooked.

On May 11, 2026 I replied that I wanted to move forward with returning all three dresses. Their reply was "If it is not a quality issue, we would still like to offer you compensation of 15% of the three dresses as a goodwill solution."

"Goodwill?" Their website advertises a 30-Day Return Window that includes returns for "Non-Quality Returns (Didn’t Like / Didn’t Fit)". I had already informed them that my issue with the dresses was the size and fit.

Offering a 15% refund instead of the advertised full refund (minus original shipping cost: $29.99) was unacceptable to me.

I'm still waiting for a resolution. They haven't provided a return address yet. I would expect return shipping to not exceed what I paid originally ($29.99).

Terrible Experience

I ordered the dress (which looked beautiful online) for a pageant. Once it arrived it looked SO CHEAP. The arms of the dress had a few cheap gems glued on and you could see the glue strings. The picture online of the arms of the dress did not match the actual dress that I received. I immediately went to the website and requested a return. It has been a month and a half and I finally settled on a 80% refund because according to the manufacturer the dress I received is in fact the correct address. Which is not true at all and I have pictures for verification. It has been a terrible experience with a terrible company who will not take responsibility for cheap and low quality dresses.

We’ve re‑checked your photos alongside our original listing, and the sleeve pattern is indeed the same design. However, we fully understand that what matters is how the dress looks in person, not in a studio photo. Lighting, camera angle and the way the sleeves sit on the arm can make them appear wider or lower than in the model photos, and we clearly did not communicate that well enough.

Our dresses are handmade, and the embellishments (including the gems on the sleeves) are applied one by one. This makes the construction more complex, but that is an explanation—not an excuse. You should not see glue strings or feel that the result looks “cheap.” Your case has been shared directly with our production and quality‑control teams so we can tighten our standards on hand‑applied decorations and finishing, and with our content team so we can show more realistic, non‑studio angles for future products.

We regret that the resolution process felt long and frustrating and that we didn’t leave you with a better impression of our service, even after a partial refund was agreed. Your review is very important to us; it highlights where we need to improve, and we are committed to doing better so that more customers are genuinely happy with both the product and the support they receive.

The dress was low quality and no return allowed

The dress was low quality and not looked the same as the picture on the website. When I tried to return they said: "● Your request is considered a non‑quality return;

● For non‑quality returns, the return shipping cost and any customs/duties are the customer’s responsibility;

● After we receive the item and confirm it has no quality issues or damage that affects resale, we will issue a refund after deducting the shipping cost, meaning only the product price is refundable and international shipping/taxes are non‑refundable.

Because international shipping and customs fees can be quite high, we’re concerned this may create a significant cost for you. You are a very important customer to us, so we’d like to offer you an alternative so you don’t have to return the dress:

1. We can refund 10% of the dress price to you now;

2. Additionally, we’ll provide a 10% discount coupon. You can either:

● Use this coupon to purchase the same dress in a different size, or

● Visit a local tailor to adjust the size of the dress to fit you better."

I bought 2 different sizes of the same…

I bought 2 different sizes of the same dress from fynony and when we received them neither fit, nor were they close is the length of the dress in the photos. Fynony told me because they didn’t fit there was nothing they would do and recommend I buy the correct size. Hahaha - another online scam - don’t trust the few positive views I’m sure they’re bought and paid for.

Deceptive practices cost me a fortune.

I had to return a childs dress that was HUGE for size it claimed to be. Since it was for an upcoming event, I ordered a smaller one so it would arrive in time. In trying to return the first dress, I found out I would be responsible for international shipping costs, or they would give me a 15% refund and I keep the dress. The address on their website was a USA address, and nowhere does it say shipping from USA would be international. They are deceptive and unfair in their practices.
