Over priced and mediocre
This could be such a great local facility but it is sadly uncared for and very overpriced (you have to pay full price for any child over 1 - so I paid full whack for my 1 year old, just the same as my 4 yr old AND you have to pay for entry for adults as well (just £2 but still). So for the 3 or us I paid £15.90. That’s off peak. On top of that you aren’t allowed to eat your own food on the premises, and there are many signs reminding you of this. If you have hungry children you will end up spending silly amounts on basic food. There are also a selection of to-pay-for arcade style games/toy machines by the door that they of course want to play/buy. The signage all around creates an unfriendly environment. I would suggest softening the no food rule to be more accommodating of different needs. Not many people can afford to pay so much just for a play in what is mediocre environment. You could offer a discount for local residents, or a myriad of other measures that would show a care for customers and not leave us feeling taken advantage of. Compared with Level Up (or other Brighton soft play centres) which is more affordable, cleaner and nicer, this place is sorely lacking any good vibes. A missed opportunity for something really great in our area!
