I had every intention of joining this bootcamp, but my experience completely changed my mind. I had not even finished half of the introductory video they sent me by email before I received a phone call from one of their representatives. Instead of being helpful and professional, the call felt pushy, uncomfortable, and rushed.

The person kept asking unnecessary questions, avoided giving me a direct answer about the price when I asked, and overall gave me the impression that the main priority was making money rather than genuinely helping potential students. Good customer service and respectful communication are extremely important, especially when people are considering investing significant time and money into education.

There are many coding bootcamps out there, and unfortunately this experience made me lose interest in this one completely. I will not be enrolling, and based on my experience, I would not recommend it to others.

FES has a great format for learning, progressing, and finding answers with mentors who are available 24/7! Recently had Rose help me with an issue that I was stumped on for quite some time and the resolution she provided was super timely, informative and helpful!

FES absolutely makes the basics of learning to code disarming and accessible. There are aspects that can only be grasped with time, continued application, and hard work of course, so a decent amount of learning (and practice) is required on the student's part outside of the lessons they give you. While the lessons were relatively facile, I will admit the projects were intimidating; I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish as much as I have, but by piecing together examples, reapplying the basics, and making good use of the provided mentorship and other resources, it's amazing what someone with rudimentary technological know-how such as myself can create. The most difficult part is of course knowing how all the commands work together so that crafting your code is more of an instinctive, creative process—which just takes time and practice. I've heard people claim that you can learn to code in a few months via this program, and I don't know if I'd assert or advise that, as, again, the ideal process is more instinctual than derivative or mimetic. But what an opportunity for serious career-switchers! Take full advantage of it.

I was recently accepted into the bootcamp and internship for Frontend Simplified. I am four days in since my initial inquiry led to a scheduled interview on zoom. All of the communication the representatives have had with me thus far have been prompt, purposeful, and genuinely engaging. In my humble opinion frontend simplified is delivering "top shelf" customer service to their students. The first point of contact was with Alex who scheduled a phone call interview with me within 24 hours after my initial inquiry. She discussed my goals in regard to a possible career transition and educated me about their program. She shared in my excitement about the program and offered tremendous support by providing a safe space for me to share my story with her warm, positive, and empathetic energy. She also e-mailed me a pre-interview task involving a lab to get a feel for coding which was such a thrill! She then connected me with her team leader, Karuna Darvesh, who is an Admissions Officer. Miss Darvesh scheduled a zoom interview with me within 48 hours of my initial inquiry. Prior to the actual interview, she offered clear information on what a career transition would like for me and readily answered all of my questions appropriately via text messaging. She also sent a second interactive lab for coding for me to engage in which was super fun! I literally created a functional chatbot before I ever interviewed! During the actual interview, Miss Darvesh organically made me feel comfortable from the start with her encouraging words and the genuineness to engage me via facilitating questions to explore my story, my challenges, and my dreams in relation to my career. As a clinical healthcare chaplain who facilitates storytelling with my patients regularly, it was clear Ms. Darvesh had been adequately trained for her role as she both asked and answered questions as though she was presenting as a seasoned representative in her role. The level of knowledge and professionalism that both Alex and Ms. Darvesh exhibited definitely sets the bar HIGH for other competitors offering online learning for frontend web development and/or tech of any kind. I truly feel like I have been authentically welcomed into a community that is legit willing to be there for me as I make this huge life transition. I have been craving this for years and after exploring numerous other paths, I can say with confidence so far, I adamantly believe I have made the right decision. David Bragg you are doing something right and possibly even magical when you can empower your crew to deliver from top to bottom this level of responsiveness, reliability, expertise, competence, empathy, and professionalism. I am not one that is easily impressed but so far, the engagement and customer service is uniquely UNMATCHED. Thank you all as I feel it is a privilege to be working with you.

Mentors who you could message almost any time of day or evening. They helped you get through any difficult material and helped to grow your knowledge.

I have had such wonderful support from the mentors. I am a rather anxious person and interacting with strangers is not easy for me but they make me feel calm and not stupid! At my age of 64 I have so much to learn about coding and even computers that I was not sure if I could do this at first, but, students can take all the times they need to learn and really absorb all of the material. I really am happy with being in this class and actually look forward to each and every lesson. You won't go wrong with FES.

Whenever I'm having issues with my code these mentors walk me through it and help me figure it out every single time whether it's day or night!

I like the process of learning Frontend. The mentors are quick to reply and I am enjoying the process of learning a new skill.

I was very nervous about commiting to this training. I took a leap of faith and invested in myself.

I can say that it was a great decision. The learning is laid out nicely with video and then coding myself. If I ever had any problems that I couldn't solve myself, I reached out to the 24hour mentors that always, and I mean ALWAYS responded to me with in minutes to look at my code and help show me where the hang up was. I can say the Mentorship, being able to reach out to them and schedule calls at anytime is worth the weight in gold with FES. Randomly, if I hadn't reached out to the Mentors in a couple days they would send me a message just to check in and make sure I am doing ok and reminding me they are there if I need them. They are always positive and encouraging. Such a great program, challenging yes, but I felt this program and Mentors really want me to succeed. I just had to show up and be willing to learn.

That they responded right away even though it’s 1:47 am I work nights. They gave clear direct instructions. There helpful advice should be used by everyone that stuck or just wants to learn .

Everyone at FES from the beginning has been great. The mentors are patient and provide guidance at every stage and every hour! The video tutorials go a bit fast sometimes. But the mentors are always there to lend a hand.

It was good to know that I have a chance to be able to find a job and take care of my family with out any worries

2 months into the program, and in my honest opinion, it has been a great experience. As a true beginner with no coding knowledge prior, the lessons were easy to understand. A couple of weeks in, the difficulties start ramping up. That's where I started using the mentors. Having mentors 24/7 to answer questions greatly reduced my stress levels when I got stuck. One of my mentors, Ray, got on a call with me 30 minutes after I scheduled a meeting, and he was a great help. He quickly understood where I was having trouble and gave me a few tips for solving the problem. One aspect I love is that they don't give you the answers; they encourage you to go out there and try to solve them yourself, and that has honestly made me a better coder. You can go at your own pace, so you don't feel left behind, especially if you have a busy schedule. All in all, this has been a great experience, and I can see a bright future.

Hristina and Andrew really came through for me in a pinch! I was having issues setting up VS Code and GitHub and they took the time to help me get everything set up on my end!

On the interview on zoom the guy grilled me about my coding experience, said I didn’t “have enough skin in the game” made fun of my current job, & did his best to keep me in a question loop for 30 minutes. Did whatever he could to not let me into the program. Waste of time & this is clearly some weird scam from what I can see. Either that or they discriminate against ppl with no coding experience who want to join. 10K is too much for this anyway.
Just go to a University/local, college where you will be respected regardless of your color, race, experience etc. Either that or teach yourself.

The videos are easy to follow along with but if you happen to get stuck, there are mentors available 24/7. Everyone starting from the onboarding team to the fellow frontend students are nice. Step by step clear and easy to understand instructions.

FES is a great program, positive things are basically all i have to say about the course. It's a great and advantageous move forward in a completely different direction (I historically do sales and like creating art) then where i envisioned my life to go, and Im so glad i started to take it. it even marries those two aspects of my life in ways i didn't think of almost creating art and experiences from scratch on a web page and making it functional enough to convert sales or whatever end goal is something i started to love the process of. I've learned so much, the pacing is great by someone who gets bored easy especially with repetition. and the curriculum and things they cover are perfect to get the skills needed to produce, which is probably where i worried most. and the mentors are always available and respond pretty immediately and attentively for any questions you have along the way Anyone who says you can learn engineering or coding online yes is technically right but at the end of the day probably has never tried or has way too much time on their hands. this course cuts straight through to whats important to make you excel at creating pages while somehow touching pretty much all bases I'm aware of broadly but focused enough on each part that you actually are learning especially whats important and taking that with you. with this new skillset Im confident i will get a steady job in the field directly because of what they taught me, and / or the option for alot of freelance or self employment full time. I even started taking clients and audit requests already and i haven't even completed the entire bootcamp yet. Now of course like anything its you get what you give 100%, but for me Im giving my best and Im getting the best results i feel. like it may sound cheesy but forreal im really glad i made the choice to go through this program, one of the best decisions Ive made recently and if your looking for a new skillset for whatever reason and your willing to take the time and learn. I couldnt recommend Front End Simplified enough.

Frontend Simplified has been an incredible experience for me. I’ve always been a slower-paced learner, and I was worried that would hold me back, but the mentorship and encouragement I received here completely changed that.

The mentors and instructional video courses break things down in a way that actually makes sense, and they’re patient and supportive throughout the process. I never felt rushed or judged for needing extra time to understand concepts. Instead, I felt guided and motivated to keep improving step by step.

What really stood out to me was how much they genuinely care about your progress. The structure, clear instructions, and real-world applications made everything feel practical and achievable, even when I doubted myself.

I’m very grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend Frontend Simplified to anyone, especially if you prefer learning at your own pace and want mentors who truly have your back.
