It was amazing and brilliant day I don’t think I can express just how good this day was. The pilot James was fantastic the ground staff were brilliant I can not recommend this enough. My amazing wife sorted this for my birthday as this has always been a dream of mine now fulfilled .

Professional and friendly staff. Thrilling experience. Pilot Anna Walker was amazing and made the whole experience truly memorable.

I experienced one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. It was absolutely amazing all the ground crew were amazing and I had a brilliant pilot, Charlie who taught me and let me fly the plane for some of the time. We flew out to Eastbourne did barrel rolls over Beachy head to entertain the many holiday makers then hugged the coastline over Hastings, Folkestone towards Dover then flew in to Ashford where we met our chaser plane with family members on board. We flew in close proximity so they could share the experience and take photos and videos. Then we peeled off and did a victory roll directly over Dover, we flew up the east coast over Ramsgate & Margate then I flew inland slightly following the Thanet Way and did a couple of fly passes over the village where I live finishing with the pilot doing a barrel roll. then we went North over Rochester, then just west of Gravesend to Brands Hatch where we did our final victory roll before heading back to Biggin Hill. It was amazing I can’t thank my wife enough for having arranged it for my early birthday treat. I had the time of my life and to top it off many of my family were at Biggin Hill to witness it 😃❤️

Since reading Reach for the Sky as a young boy, I have dreamt of flying a Spitfire. Sitting in one at Hendon RAF Museum was not enough. Last week I went to watch the Spitfires at Newquay Airport, it was too much, the smell and sound of the Merlin, realising this was my chance to make that dream come true. From the moment I approached the team to finally flying a Spitfire, the team couldn't have been more professional and patient. Special mention for pilot Barry and batman Dave. The flight was so smooth. If you're hesitant about doing this, just do it. I promise you, you will not regret it. You can't take it with you, the memory stays forever. I'm still grinning.

I fear my literary capability will fail to express the absolute awesome nature of this experience. From the moment we arrived, my guests and I were treated like VIPs. Christian (ground crew) and Andy (the pilot) were so friendly and professional and made this an experience of a lifetime. After getting a little emotional just after take off, Andy handed over control of the aircraft. As a PPL holder and lifetime fan of Spitfires this was well and truly my top bucket list item fulfilled. Andy's multiple victory rolls over Llys-y-fran reservoir followed by a perfect landing rounded the flight off. Looking out over the iconic elliptical wings and the sound and smell of the Merlin engine will remain with me forever and the two high quality videos, one forward looking to the side of my head and one rear looking into my face, will ensure the memories remain accurate and fresh. I highly recommend this experience, particular if you have a soft spot for Spitfires, which I imagine most people partaking in this experience will have. I bought fly a spitfire flight as a surprise for my husbands 60th Birthday. When we arrived the staff were so helpful taking us round to the flight area where there was complimentary tea and coffee. Harry and all the staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, they made the whole experience a fantastic day to remember and would thoroughly recommend this experience to everyone.

What an amazing experience for my dad who turned 80 this year. It was a special birthday present from his 3 children and he was treated like Royalty. He flew out of Newquay airport, where his father had taken off over 80 years ago in WW2. A very memorable and moving experience. Thank you 🙏

Everything about my spitfire flight was amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after impeccably.
The flight itself was incredible and lived up to my 50 year dream, I’m still smiling now. Worth every single penny.

Pilot and team were incredibly accommodating - agreed to undertake a couple of barrel rolls over our home village and local golf course on captains day much to the delight of friends and neighbours! The experience was shared with our family who were looked after well throughout the experience on the day and made to feel included.

Just returned home from the most fantastic day with Flyaspitfire at Biggin Hill.
A great tour of the facilities was given by Dell who knows his stuff.
Christian then did all the safety procedures and ensured that all was good once in the plane.
Steve my pilot did a great job of flying down to the coast and showed a little of what a Spitfire can do.
A great place to visit with very comfortable lounge with beverages if you need a drink.
All the staff were really nice people and we all felt very welcome.
I could not recommend this more for a great experience. You will not regret it.

What a great day!
Dad has always wanted to fly in a spitfire and he has finally done it as he turned 90.
Everything was fantastic, from the welcome, the comfortable viewing lounge with decent coffee, the enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff.
Being able to chat to the pilot was a bonus and hearing lots of stories, old and new was so interesting.

What an awesome experience !

I did the Beachy Head 45 minute flight which i think is the best balance of time in the plane and what you can see.

All the staff were amazing and passionate about the planes, they were well spoken and they provided clear information and instructions on what to do.

Anna Walker, the pilot spent time with me before take off to go through what would happen during the flight.

After being in the air for about 10 minutes I was able to take the controls and fly the plane which was fantastic.

Over Beachy Head Anna did a couple of victory rolls and some banked turns which generated a good amount of g-force before I flew the plane back to Biggen Hill.

Whilst it may seem expensive, in my view it was totally worth the money for that once in a lifetime experience that will forever be in my memory!

Just do it !

I had the most extraordinary day on 12th July 2026—an experience I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Every member of the team was exceptionally professional, welcoming, and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of the day exceeded my expectations. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Adam Wheatley, my pilot and Commander, whose reassurance, professionalism, and expertise made me feel completely at ease from start to finish.

The entire experience was truly exceptional—far beyond anything I could have imagined. A lifelong dream became a reality, and I am profoundly grateful to Adam and the entire team for making it such an unforgettable occasion.

It was worth every penny, and if given the opportunity, I would do it all again without a moment's hesitation. Thank you all for creating memories that I will cherish forever. Simon B.

Flying in a Spitfire is a tremendous experience. All those at the Heritage Hanger at Biggin Hill are first rate and very knowledgable. I had a wonderful time.

- [ ] Myself and my husband booked a formation flight , we arrived 3 hours before thinking we would be far too early but we were wrong, the experience started as soon as we got there. We can’t thank the staff highly enough from Amanda in reception to the volunteers and staff who showed us round the hangar and museum and at the lookout, the chase aircraft team and the staff who assisted us into the Spitfire, we were looked after extremely well. Now to the glory boys, James and Adam our pilots, they were absolutely brilliant, they put us at ease before the flight and made the whole experience unforgettable 11 out of 10 to ALL!!

A 30 minute flight in a Spitfire from Tatenhill airport was the trip of a lifetime, I recommend it to anyone.
From the moment I arrived until I left everything ran extremely smoothly, the ground staff Nigel and Nick were amazing teaching me all the safety procedures, kitting me out with my flight suit and ensuring I was fastened into the spitfire correctly. Also giving lots of giggles along the way. A big thank you to them.
A massive thank you to Andrew the pilot who took the time to see where I wanted to fly and for giving us a great flight.
The whole experience was just incredible.

Incredible day and chasing the ME 109 was like being in a film, fabulous people fabulous day out and all credit to them for keeping this important piece of history alive.
