The team did a great job with the floors in my master bedroom, single bedroom, the hallway, and the observatory! We had carpets all over, they stripped it down, and then installed the new wooden floors and LLVT herringbone… and it looks so so beautiful now, i cannot believe i haven’t done it sooner!

Dimitri did a fantastic job. He is a very skilled and patient worker and very polite.

Floorworks did a fantastic job restoring and installing wooden floors in my flat. They sanded and sealed over 100 sqm of original pine floorboards and installed new engineered oak flooring in the bedrooms, blending the finish perfectly across rooms.

The team was professional, punctual, and the finish is excellent. They handled everything from carpet removal to subfloor prep, trimming doors, and installing beading. Ability also to adapt the tone last minute based on taste from more natural to yellowish.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality flooring work in London.

I was so impressed with my next door neighbours floors that I booked Floorworks to do ours too! We hit a problem but Floorworks rectified it immediately and we are now very pleased with the end result.

We cannot vouch for the quality of any work on the floor because Floorworks were too incompetent to do the job. Instead they wasted a huge amount of our time to achieve nothing, leaving us in the lurch, and behind on renovation work planned around their booking. In short: steer clear at all costs.

In full: a surveyor came round to see the floors and give a quote. The initial job was to restore, sand, and refinish original 1930s pine floors across our upstairs, including the stair case. Surveyor was clearly in a rush and evidently didn't listen to us. We showed him broken boards and other issues, made clear we wanted to include stairs in the quote, and he assured us it would all be included.

A few days later the quote comes through. A little steep, but fine, and worth it to have the top floor of our house finished. Quote states 2 days of work. We book the work in, and book time off to pack and move our belongings the day before.

On the day Ian and Alex turn up, look upset and talk for a long time to each other before telling us they don't have any floorboards to replace the broken boards, that this is four days work, and the staircase wasn't included. They have to talk to their manager, so they go back to their van. Then they just drive off without saying anything more to us.

I call and speak to Martin the manager who offers no apology whatsoever and says he's left a message on my wife's phone. He hasn't. He says he will requote including new boards where needed and get back to us. Zero apology for our wasted time, effort, and day off work.

Of course we have heard nothing from him since. It may be that these guys can refurb floors to a high standard but I wouldn't bet on it. Bunch of jokers. Useless. Unbelievable waste of our time that has set us back massively on overall renovations. Steer clear.

The team were great from the quote to the finished work. They arrived on time, worked really hard and made special adaptions for floor sockets and to match the pattern of old adjacent flooring. Great flooring products, finish and completed ahead of schedule. Thanks so much!

This company were amazing, we had issues to start due to unforeseen circumstances. Once started these George and his team worked so hard to make up for lost time. They were professional, clean and tidy. We are thrilled with the floors and the service we received. We would definitely use them again.

Excellent workmanship from Floorworks, Ian did an amazing job of restoring our 14 year old solid oak floor through hall and kitchen. Looks so good after sanding and sealing. Also had dark stained floorboards in our attic sanded back to natural. Tough job but Ian did a fantastic job, it is so much brighter and traditional looking. Highly recommend Floorworks and would 100% use their services again.
