I've booked a flight with them and it was straight forward. Unfortunately I didnt not apply for the Esta to go to America However I wanted to reschedule an appropriate date when the Esta would come through within 72 hrs.with The travel agent said I have to pay an extra £1200. I worked hard fir my money and i didnt have it to oay. I think this is extortion. To reschedule a flight i have to pay even thogh I did not get to go on the phone. No reminders at all from them . Poor communication.

Having spent so much time filtering & finding the right direct flight to San Diego, I was disappointed to find I had to call guru direct to make the booking & go through all the filter information again! The main point being direct! Then advised that the flight wasn’t as quoted (£200 more than going to airline direct) as it shows starting from! and can be cheaper with connections!! Why have detailed filters if the price isn’t a true cost? Now I’m receiving texts on offers from marketing which I never agreed to.
More hassle than it’s worth!

I booked buisness class return to bangkok through flight guru with Hainan airlines I new there were changes which I was told about BUT they assured me it was all transiting through china and my bag were checked all the way through to Bangkok. FLIGHT GURU Conveniantly Forgot to tell me in the rush to get there mucky hands on my£1900 ish monie that I&my bags & I wernt booked straght through to bkk as I had to get of at haikou in China&my bags had to along with me be re check back in for my
flight the fallowing morning which ment I needed a chines visa which I didn't have as I was told by flight guru I was &my backs in transit to Bangkok I was arrested i called flight guru and they lead me on with the old line (were sorting it) they were liying as they wernt it took the Brittish embassy to help me & still flight
guru (criss +a manager) continued to lead me on I and the embassy& myself sorted my return ticket with the airline with in 48hours .we did what flight guru couldt acheeve in 10days in 48hrs proving they were liying all along I'm now in the prosece of legal action against them DONT USE THEM & Tell Others Not to Use them unless the get written and more written proof from flight guru that the info they(u) have been given is leagally correct don't hand over any cast till u get the info u need the old saying Buyer Be Were is very very true in this instant.

The will say we called they did & I didn't answer that's because I was in detention for some of the time & what's mure I watts app them telling them to only msg me as couldt take most voice calls if, I was attending both the British& Chinese embassy there is much much more I could tell u but I've run out of msg time if u have booked with them... well good look u will need it if u get into problems ???

Do not use Flight Guru - they lie they cheat and they con you. They quoted me a price, took a substantial deposit to secure the booking - although I was ready to pay in full at the time. It then took me 4 calls to try and make the final payment and they put the price up. By then they had me trapped. I eventually got that money back, because they actually can't do that, but it took 2yrs and I had to go to arbitration. Apart from that I needed to change my return tickets, but they quoted me nearly 3x the actual cost to make the changes when I checked directly with the airline. They then refused to cooperate with the airline, refused to put through the changes and I lost the 2 return tickets Sydney - London worth about £1000.
Keep away - I tried to get their membership of ABTA recinded, but they're not interested, even when loads of people have complained about their shonky practices. They have big turnover of staff too, so you're forever starting from scratch with a new agent - that has to say something about the company itself...

Booked a ticket and was willing to pay the credit card fee. Then Adan idiot returned call and said Adam (ext - 1114), a travel consultant, had informed that only bank transfers were accepted for this ticket , wasting 45 minutes on the phone.Dont waste your time ringing this hopeless and useless agency

Paid deposit on 15 .1.2024.of £200
On the29.1.2024..I call..they added extra cost on my ticket.said I must paid a charge fee if I paid by credit.i decided to cancel my booking but flight garu did not refund my deposit.nor refund mea%of my deposit..travel on july

Very bad service

Poor travel agency. My husband was left stranded when one leg of his flight was cancelled. We had to pay a full new ticket fare from the caribbean back to the UK. Airline said to apply for refund through agency. Even this they were reluctant to do. After numerous calls all they offered was a £160 voucher which I didn't bother to claim. I want nothing to do with them. Now they keep sending me message adverts which I can't out out of successfully. I will have to call them up. I want nothing to do with them.

I rang today, they led me to believe that they were REX! They then proceeded to take all my personal details and even sent an email. They were a SCAM!!

How can a booking agent "go out of his way" to book a flight (see review below) when booking flights for people IS PART OF HIS JOB?

This company just keeps sending message after message to my phone without me asking for anything off them.
I have sent STOP messages back to their number but they just don't listen!!!!

I missed my flight to see my daughter in Australia which i was devastated.
I phoned the flight guru and explained and asked if I could change my flight
I was told basically I would need to pay again ( no empathy)
Quantas refunded Mt Tickets back to them with no hesitation , I was then told by flight guru I wasn't getting anything back.
After contacting legal advice I was told by Law I was entitled to my Taxes back which I would never of been getting back had I not sought legal advice.
My who experience with them (still ongoing) since August is appalling
