Working with Five Star Painting to paint the exterior of our home was a rewarding experience. Their team (Tyler, Joe and Shanna) were punctual, professional and knowledgeable while providing the upmost quality of service. We discussed schedules and expectation daily which were always meet and exceeded. I would use this company again and happily recommend Five Star Painting with 5 stars.

I was looking for a professional company to paint our 10yr old metal Gazebo. It is a Lowe's purchase made in China. Black now blotchy grey. I knew I needed an experienced company with metal paint experience. Ron VanPeursem and his Chief painter Carlos were chosen. This company is a franchise. Ron and Carlos are men of honor. The first two coats were Sherwin William application specific paint. They did not like the way the paint dried. They sanded down that paint and repainted with a metal specific paint. For what I paid, I know they lost money on this job. But their wheel house is cabinets, indoor and outdoor paint. While the Gazebo was a 6 day challenge, they made it right. I will have them back to paint our cabinets.

Totally reliable, excellent response nothing but good things to say about the team. Pricing is very competitive. Leave the place as clean as when they came.

5 star painting does not live up to the service their website claims to deliver. We were told to expect non English speaking painters and that was fine but we were told to expect a project manager that did speak English. The project manager did speak English but she was here for a very short time on the first day & then was pretty much absent from the work site until the end when we had problems. The pressure washing they did was pathetic, caulk work was almost as bad and despite the fact that my husband expressly told both the estimator & project manager that we had spent a lot of time cleaning all the old paint off of our windows and rock and the metal trim around the roof & we didn’t want any paint anywhere except where it was supposed to be. Guess what? Painting was sloppy, they painted over loose paint that should have been scraped. The painters were really nice guys and tried their best but their work wasn’t professional at all. We are supposed to have a 2 year warranty on the paint work, they haven’t even sent me a paid invoice despite the fact that I asked twice so if they showed up to do any warranty work I would truly be shocked! We used Yellow Rose painting before and they were just as bad, we really wished we had just done it ourselves! Don’t get me started on the difference between the estimate & the final price. Rip off!!

I had 5 star painting paint my deck . They did a good job and met all my expectations. There was an issue with the bill that my deposit did not get applied. When I noticed this I contacted them and they resolved it quickly. My only regret is that I did not know the build decks. I wish I had called them for that job as well. They quote was also very reasonable compared to others some being double. Thank you 5 Star Painting.

We had our entire brick home exterior painted and the front limewashed for nearly $10,000 and it began wearing off in less than a year despite claims the particular product Romobio was designed specifically for what we wanted to accomplish. It cost another $1,000 despite the guarantee. The owner of this franchise was under responsive and in our opinion, did not live up to the advertised reputation of being a Christian values based, neighborly, community oriented service provider. Though our home is our primary asset, it did not appear to matter as much to this company as the growing volume of larger, more
profitable commercial projects apparently produce. If you're just an private, residential customer AVOID THEM!

Mr. Davis and his team did an amazing job painting our outside house.

We had painting and handy man work. 5 Star respected our home, protecting the floor and artwork. They could not have been more professional. The franchisee made certain we were pleased with the work each day. Cannot recommend this service and these people more. It's as good as it gets! Thank you 5 star!

BEWARE! They came they painted they did the molding it looks like old dingy paint the premium paint promised was actually cheaper and it’s peeling. Made a few changes during the job that was met with not a happy response. Inside closet doors were missed and the old Cloe was bleeding through one bedroom. Trying to get them back to fix all of my complaints was impossible. I had to repaint the room by myself. I’m now going over all the trim with brand new white gloss which the difference is night and day

The worst is that the owner was very dismissive and non responsive to my requests and then never called me back!

GET REFERENCES and check the product.

Also watch closely they come in quick and leave quicker!

I have learned a very expensive lesson.

A little bit of information about our experience with Five Star Painting of Fayette. We had them come out and measure our decks. They prepared a quote for painting our two decks in writing. We accepted the quote in writing. Put down a deposit. We moved everything off the decks for them to start work today. We learned today that they subcontracted the job and subcontractor is refusing to perform the work due to quote being too low. They told us that they would need to double the quote for the subcontractor to perform the work. They are canceling their agreement with us and returning our deposit. Frustrating experience.

Yesterday we made an appointment for an estimate to paint our house with Five Star Painting. THEIR office person gave us a firm time of 11 am. the next day. We changed our day around to accommodate THEIR convenience for 11am the next day. About an hour before the appointment they texted and wanted to change the appointment to be two and a half hours later. We told them we need to keep it at the 11 am THEY made the appointment for (because we had other commitments to keep). At 10:05 they canceled the 11 am appointment. After sending the text canceling we received two more texts from the same number. The first read "think this would be a customer you'd want to work for".
Then a second text came in from the same number moments later which said "I'll be at the house in 15 min". (not meaning our house but somewhere else).
I believe the two texts after they canceled were sent to us by their mistake. It made us feel that they could care less about customers and were blaming us for wanting to keep the appointment THEY made the previous day. I can only imagine the problems a customer would have with a company that blames the customer for THEIR shortcomings and failure to keep commitments.

Pros: Completed painting project looked great after it was completed..
Cons: Five Star Painting uses All Non-English speaking painters to contract their projects out to in order to reduce any customer & worker interaction issues. I had to ask repeatedly for the project manager to return to the work site.. after she leaves all the contractors alone.. 95% of the project time.
