OMG...where do I start...saw their advert on STV, and then drove past their new branch on Clarkston Road in Cathcart, Glasgow.
So thought I'd give them a go. Called and spoke to Darren and he arranged for one their people to come out, and provide a quote for my roofing job.
He said it would the following day, between 9am & 2pm. In that case, due to the time window, could the person call me 15min before he arrives, so I can make sure I don't miss them.
So the next day waited patiently for the call, and my visit.
I was on another call when I had a missed call, and voicemail.
I immediately called back a minute later, to be told by James that "he is too busy...and won't be coming now".
I explained that I had waited in all morning, and was on another call when he rang.
He was abrupt & rude, and emphasised he is the boss, and that's that...and hung up!
I called the office and spoke to Darren again, who said he would investigate and call me back.
He didn't...so called him back after 30mins...and he was apologetic, and asked if I want to speak to his manager...before answering, James came on the phone...the very same, who keeps reminding me he is the boss.
"Listen Mate" he says, "we're so busy just now, so go and find another firm for your job!"
I tried to respond, by commenting on his unprofessional & unbusinesslike behaviour, but he kept talking over me...Good Greif...I think I dodged a bullet!
I can't comment on their work, as I didn't get very far on the normal business process, quote, job, etc...
but if this is their attitude, especially after raising their company profile on TV, please James...get some basic training on how to be a pleasant Human being!
For the record, James McAllister is the Company Director, and their company registered address is Mitchell Street, in Glasgow.

After the bad storms in January, we tried contacting several local roofing companies but didn’t hear back from any of them . Fortunately we found FBTD a Glasgow based company who came out very same day to assess the damage.Their quote was reasonable and we decided to go ahead with the repair.

They were very professional throughout punctual efficient, and kept us informed at every stage. After completing the work , they even showed us a video of the finished repairs , which gave us real peace of mind.

First Roofing recently roughcasted a couple of walls for us and repaired a couple of sills.

Just had our living room extension flat roof renewed as it was displaced and damaged during the recent storm. We decided to use FRBS a local company and they didn't disappoint. James was quick to respond. The workman were friendly, very efficient and experienced. The work was carried out to a high standard and would definitely recommend this company and use again in the future.

As a result of the recent storm we experienced some minor damage to a couple of roof tiles. On contacting FRBS they came and sorted the problem, effectively and efficiently with NO charge. Very impressed - highly recommended.

When we first moved in to our present home we quickly discovered numerous problems with our roof. We chose FRBS to attend to our repairs and we were not disappointed. All issues were dealt with promptly by the competent workforce in particular Connor and Nelson who in my opinion went over and above what was required. A very reliable and efficient company who I would have no hesitation in recommending.

First Roofing came out last summer and they put a completely new roof on our front elevation as well as new gutters for the entire house. We still have one wee problem area with the gutters at the back of the house and they are going to come out and take care of it for us next week once they get through their backlog from the storm. Great company came out same day and completed job to a high standard, workmen very efficient and helpful, checked roof for damage and replaced the tiles on roof, very happy with overall service would highly recommend, very competitive prices

Great service....Problem occurred just after new year Anthony came out said what was required ... on site on the 14th job was complete late afternoon on the 15th. This is the second time i Have used FRBS and would recommend. Peter spoke us through every aspect of the job and was reassuring.....the guys up on the roof were outstanding polite and respected the environment around them always talking to neighbours to let them know all the mess would be cleaned up ....which it was....Thank you FRBS ....Andy & Sandra

Just had our wall at the side of the house rendered & roughcast. Could not fault this company. A first class job was completed in the timescale indicated.
