This company does NOT do refunds. Their website appears to be carefully crafted to deceive, and their FAQ page evens describes the refund process and how long it takes. I received a pair of gloves that i immediately knew were unsuitable, and was told by their customer service that they do not offer refunds.

In sharing my experience with first MFG, I would like to note that I've read a ton of these reviews and realize the general consensus is not good on trustpilot or Yelp. I would also like to note that first MFG is not a BBB accredited business.
That being said, my experience was good. I ordered two vests and a jacket, these are not cheap made garments they are heavy duty Rider protection. I had a hard time, as I sometimes do, selecting a proper size to order. I ended up initially ordering a large in all three items. I then, within 48 hours, sent over an email requesting to change my size to extra large on all three, which their AI response system told me that they could do that. It was at that point I started to investigate first MFG on trustpilot and on Yelp and noticed a lot of bad reviews so my worry began to rise. I followed up by calling the customer service phone number to which I got a poor English speaking woman who was very vague and seemed fishy to me and that's just me being honest. She didn't ask for any further information besides the order number and proceeded to tell me that my "order was being prepared for shipment and the sizes would be XL." That happened to be exactly the information I was seeking but she didn't ask me what my call was about, she just told me, which seemed a little off (Perhaps they receive a lot of calls like mine). As soon as I got off the phone with her an email came with a UPS tracking number, which a couple of other people on here said they got a tracking number but never received their purchases. Well, in my case, two days later I received my product, I am pleased with it. Again the quality of the product is pretty dang good.
That is my experience with first MFG.
I would give them five stars, but seeing as I am a skeptic and others might be as well, it might be assumed that the five-star reviews are just made up reviews by scammers of some sort to try and lure people into buying. But honestly, I could almost believe that the bad reviews are made up by the company to stop people from over buying causing them to have backups on orders that get delayed by weeks. As silly as that is and probably isn't true, I could believe it, because my experience went pretty well with them. So I'm giving it a 3-star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ although it probably does deserve more, hoping that somebody reads this and it finds them well. This was my first purchase through first mfg, so order at your own discretion I probably will buy from them again.

Purchased one of their vests for $350! It didnt even last 5 rides and the stitching is completely coming apart in multiple places. They refuse to do anything because I purchased through Amazon. So they dont warranty anything then even though its still their product. So its like a car company not providing a warranty because you didnt buy your car at the factory. Beware Worst company I have even dealt with. Over priced garbage with zero customer service.

Ordered the Top Performer jacket in XL. I'm 5'10" and 197 lbs. It arrived exactly when they said it would and fits perfectly. The leather is top quality and well made. It's very soft and supple. I wore it for the first time last night and was absolutely thrilled with it. It was 67 degrees out, so not real cold. I didn't have the liner in and wore only a long-sleeved T-Shirt under the jacket. I was perfectly comfortable. When I got home, I looked at my wife and simply said, "I love this jacket"! Well done, First Manufacturing! I am one happy camper.

FM inflates their MSRPs during sales, especially on Black Friday. Their stuff is made in Pakistan too. Stay away from This company! They aren’t honest. They aren’t reliable. Stick with a company like Schott out of New Jersey or Barbour out of the UK. Anybody but these guys.

I wrote a review last week about my experience with first manufacturer company, Raiders, Motorcycle jacket size large, which I could not zipper up because it was too tight. I purchased other motorcycle jackets like Harley Davidson’s and so on size large and they fit me perfect. I was going to return the jacket and exchange it for a size extra large, but then I got very ill and had three surgeries since then and I’m still recovering from the last one. I was told to contact the company and that they would assist me in a in an exchange. The exchange never happened because miraculously they cannot find my purchase information on record. In other words, it just disappeared. I am totally displeased and taking the loss of a purchase for an item that does not fit me because of their size fitment is wrong. So far, I've bought a leather vest, which I absolutely love and a pair of leather riding gloves. The gloves started ripping out on one of the fingers and I snapped a pic and sent them an email. Within a week, they sent me a brand new pair and told me to keep the old ones. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend their products!

Customer service is garbage, vest ripped by the zipper. You can only get to the point where customer service says they'll send a return label. Then crickets no matter how many times you try.
Edit 10 months later they reached out with a garbage reply. Stay away

I will be honest after I placed my custom order i was a little concerned... I've read so many mixed reviews... it took 6 ish weeks to ship because it was custom ordered.

I am absolutely in love with this jacket! Everything is perfect and exactly as I ordered. I can't believe the soft but quality and thick leather and flawless stitching. I was worried about the zip off sleeves but they are amazing! The flexible gusset on the arms are attached to the jacket and the sleeves zip into them.

I am 6'1" and 230 lbs (muscular) and I bought an XL and had them cut 2 inches off the bottom. It fits perfectly as a jacket or vest. The chest fits amazing and has absolutely no bunching up while riding.

Ordered a custom vest for several hundred dollars. Waited eight weeks, open the box and it was a small. Couldn't even put it around my shoulders. They said that's what I ordered, but I never received a single receipt. Do business at your own risk.

BUYERS BEWARE!! Find another place to spend your hard earned money.

I paid to ship back my jacket that was the wrong size on January 27th, they received the item on Jan 30th. Today is Feb 18th and I have not received my exchange item. When I tried reaching customer support the many times you will get voicemail and when finally you speak to someone you will get a run-around that they have escalated your issue.

I am still out of my money and my jacket I purchased.

I am writing to share my recent experience shopping with First Manufacturing Co., and unfortunately, it has been far from satisfactory. I must say, it was one of the most disappointing shopping experiences I have had in a long time. The quality of the products I received did not meet expectations, and I am quite frustrated with the overall service.
The clothing, while advertised as high-quality, felt cheaply made and lacked durability. Additionally, despite claims of lightweight fabric being ideal for hot climates, it felt uncomfortable and impractical for the weather here in Mexico.
The shipping and delivery process was another issue. Not only was the shipping time significantly longer than expected, but the package also arrived in poor condition. The delays and lack of proper handling made the experience frustrating.
Furthermore, I want to address the lackluster customer support. Instead of being helpful, the team was unresponsive and indifferent, failing to assist me with my concerns. To make matters worse, the handling of the tax deduction for non-US residents was unclear, causing unnecessary complications.
Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my shopping experience with First Manufacturing Co. and would not recommend them to others. This was an unfortunate and frustrating experience, and I sincerely hope the company takes steps to improve its service.

If you’re thinking about buying any product from this company, think once, twice, three, four, five times, or even more if possible. First Manufacturer is a company that produces apparel and gear for motorcyclists, but they have no commitment to their customers. Besides taking way too long, if you order something custom-made—something that will take at least two months for delivery—you’ll have trouble contacting them, the company won’t produce the material correctly, they deliver it wrong, and replacing it is a complete headache. I’ve been dealing with this issue for about fifteen days or more to get it resolved, and the company still says it will take another two weeks to prepare the product, not to mention they don’t even guarantee that timeframe. So, think twice or three times. I do not recommend First Manufacturer under any circumstances, and I will make sure as many people as possible know about this.

This company took 500 bucks from me. I received nothing, no refund and no response from customer service. If you need moto gear then find an outfitter with a good reputation. This companies reputation is tanking. The bad reviews are growing.

I ordered a vest (4th vest from First MFG), and immediately after the order, I contacted CS to change the size; they confirmed that it could be taken care of. 2 days go by, and I see no changes to my order and no email confirmation of the changes to my order. Just as I thought, they shipped out the incorrect vest and have not responded to one of my emails after I made the order change request. I cant get a hold of anyone on the phone either.

Outstanding leathers and great sale prices. I've ordered several vests, a jacket, gloves, and armor from First MFG over the years, and all products have been badass and shipped very quickly too. Highly recommend!

On 6 Dec 2024, I purchased 3 leather vests online from First Mfg’s web store to be used as Christmas presents. First Mfg claimed my order would arrive on 14 Dec 2024. On 10 Dec 2024, First Mfg gave me a UPS tracking number that [as of 3 Jan 2025] still says it has not been received by the carrier. I received an email from First Mfg on 14 Dec 2024 reassuring me not to worry, it’s the carrier’s fault for not properly scanning the outgoing shipment, and that I would still receive the items soon. Between 14 and 28 Dec 2024, I contacted First Mfg customer service department three times: via phone call, online chat via their website, and finally by email, demanding to escalate the issue to upper management. On the phone call, they said the order was not yet sent due to one item being backordered, despite the website claiming there was current inventory at time of order (so they lied about the carrier being at fault). They also claimed they would refund my expedited shipping fee, and mail the non-backordered items immediately. This was another lie. When I contacted them via online chat on 21 Dec 2024, they apologized that they hadn’t followed through, and again promised a refund of expedited shipping fee and immediate fulfillment of non-backordered items. This time, I asked for them to send me email confirmation of our chat discussion resolutions, which they emailed to me on 21 Dec 2024. Despite the email confirmation, this promise also went unfulfilled. Lastly, on 28 Dec 2024, I emailed both customer service and the agent who previously emailed me on 21 Dec, and demanded escalation and resolution. As of 3 Jan 2025, my email has still been completely ignored. I am out nearly $300 USD, with zero accountability from First Mfg. This behavior is unbecoming of a U.S.-based company, and, as a U.S. Army combat-disabled veteran, I am appalled that this company touts their alleged veteran-owned status while treating veteran consumers in such a manner. First Mfg should be ashamed of themselves.

My original review (above) was posted on 01/03/2025. It took a year and a half for First Mfg to respond to my review with even more lies. I am posting their response below, in case they try to change it later:

Based on our records, the delay was related to an issue on the carrier’s end. We completely understand your concerns, and you are right that it took much longer than expected; however, we’re glad to see that the issue was ultimately resolved.

First lie:
"We did attempt to reach out via email to assist with resolving this matter."
False/intentionally misleading. I called and emailed multiple times before getting a response that blamed the carrier, which I confirmed to be false.

Second lie:
"Based on our records, the delay was related to an issue on the carrier’s end."
False. UPS confirmed that although First Mfg had created a label with a tracking number, after 4 weeks, UPS still had not received any shipment from them, despite First Mfg lying to me that it had been shipped.

Third Lie:
"...you are right that it took much longer than expected; however, we’re glad to see that the issue was ultimately resolved."
Intentionally misleading. It was ultimately resolved when I did a chargeback on my credit card, not because First Mfg did anything to resolve it.

Fourth lie:
"Please feel free to reach out to us at orders[at]firstmfg.com, and we’ll be happy to help."
Dubious at best. I contacted this email repeatedly around the time of the incident and prior to posting my first review. I was completely ignored. I tried to give them a chance to fix it before going public, but they forced my hand.

It's curious that First Mfg would now choose to address this complaint after being silent for such a long time. It's unfortunate that they chose to reply with more lies and deceit. I'm just glad I was able to recover my money, thanks to my credit card company performing a chargeback.

Scam company. Ordered a jacket from them and then they called to say i would receive in 2 weeks. Never received the jacket. Even worse, my order says canceled on their site. Filed a complaint with my CC company for refund. DO NOT BUY from them.

Don’t waste your time or money. Took 6 weeks to get here . When it did arrive the order was wrong . Had to ship it back and wait ANOTHER month+ to get the new one . Horrible customer service also. Would not recommend.

Made a purchase on their site. Got email item shipping UPS with tracking number, which was quickly changed to shipment cancelled. A phone call from them something about item is being shipped from their factory. A month later no vest, unreturned emails and my request for cancellation ignored. Horrible customer service.
AVOID THIS SO CALLED COMPANY!!!
