Great customer service! When I called the first time, the representative was up-front with me and told me what would be best. The quote was fair compared to other competitors. When I had to make a last-minute change, it was very easy to change the number of buses. The bus was on time the day of the trip and the driver did a great job. My only point of critique is that I had to reach out to the bus the day before the trip to confirm the details. Since this was a weekend trip, this part proved difficult.

Our driver Ezekiel was great. He was on time and very pleasant.

There was a bit of miscommunication about where pickup and drop off locations were. However, our bus driver was kind and helpful. He assisted us with lifting heavy items and kept in touch with us to make sure we departed our location on time. Our ride was smooth and we appreciated the help of our driver.

I was contracted for 3 busses to pick up and drop off guests for my wedding. Only two busses successfully picked up guests for both trips. I was stuck at the wedding venue for over an hour after my wedding. The driver stopped answering the phone so we had to find different transportation and missed the after party we had planned. It's been over a week since the wedding and I have not heard from First Charter. Unfortunately not dependable.

Paid for 3 busses in full and only 1 came. No a single phone number i called picked up. Worst bussing company on planet earth and had a group of 150 standing in a lot for an hour. Will be getting money back in full or will be filing a lawsuit for not providing services that were paid for.

On time, friendly, and clean!

I would like to give ZERO stars. I confirmed a bus for a trip in September in May, reconfirmed via phone 3 days before my trip, and on the day of the trip, THE BUS NEVER CAME. I called the charter center and they said they simply forgot about it, and that the person who does the charters was out sick so that's why the bus I ordered 4 months ago and confirmed 3 days ago never arrived for my event. This left my group with zero transportation, cancellation of a game, and many disappointed children and families. No attempt to fix the situation was made. Absolutely terrible.

Used first charter bus rental for my wedding on Labor Day weekend. Bus was affordable and made picking up and dropping off guests incredibly easy! The bus drivers were great and very responsive and understood their routes well. I’d use first charter bus again in a heartbeat!

One of the driver drove to a wrong way and we were delayed for more than 30 minutes.

Apparently, there was some miscommunication between my revised itinerary that was approved and a new Itinerary was emailed to me and it getting to the Driver. The bus arrived and waited at Rose Garden circle (Rose Garden Circle was the original pick up location), not the Dupont Parking lot. A student was waiting with others near the Dupont Lot mentioned had mentioned she seen a bus at Rose Garden Circle, a Professor ran over and guided the driver around to Dupont. Once they arrived in Chester and the students were let off, the bus was supposed to return to Swarthmore to pick up a second group of late-arriving students. However, the driver was unaware of that, and parked the bus in Chester after the first drop. Luckily, professors driving to Chester from Swarthmore were able to bring the late-arriving students to the event in their cars. In my opinion, this was POOR customer service that the correct itinerary was not given to the driver. What she did was on the original trip sheet. I was sent the updated itinerary, why wasn't she?

First Charter fulfilled all of our transportation needs. The bus driver was very friendly and accommodating; and I will be doing business with them again for sure. Thank you!

We had several unacceptable issues for our Friday wedding. We had two different hotels booked, both with separate issues.
Hilton: Driver had no idea where they were going. Guests had to provide directions both ways. Driver demanded tips from guests.
Fairfield: -Extremely late to the hotel, causing guests to be late and the ceremony to start late. -We were told we would get a school bus, we received a much smaller shuttle instead. -Late to pickup at the venue.

General Issues: The bride and groom were left by the busses and had to order an uber home in an area with very little cellular service. -The driver claimed they spoke with the groom and confirmed they had other transportation. This did not occur. -Our contract stated they would remain on site for the duration, this did not occur.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. An overall terrible experience.

We were sent 1 new bus and 1 old bus. For the price we paid, I would have at least expected 2 new buses. Also the trip was over priced. After investigating other companies, we were told we should've received a discounted price due to being a non profit that works with youth.

The bus DID NOT pick up my guests at the hotel to bring them to the ceremony. 20 minutes before my ceremony started, we frantically had to tell 60 guests they had to drive to the wedding which put a damper on our entire day since now many guests were turned in designated drivers. I would never recommend this service to anyone.
