Multiple guests complained that the driver was incompetent. He did not make multiple pick ups and drop offs as he was supposed to. People were scared they were going to miss the wedding ceremony because the driver needed approval for everything. Very disappointed.

Driver is great, main phone system is a little slow
The main office phone system was quite slow when I was trying to get through the first time - it took awhile to get connected to an agent. However subsequence phone calls were much better. The bus driver scouted our locations ahead of time to check on any height/space clearance issue, and she arrived ahead of time on the date and patiently waited for us.

We used this service for our wedding. They were on time for all trips, the bus was clean, and the driver was very friendly! If you are staying at a Marriott hotel, there is a great discount on this service!

He even came by the day before our event to ensure that he would be able to turn the bus around in our driveway--very thoughtful and great planning. Our group used two buses during our association's reunion. Our Friday, June 24, 2022 bus, was prompt and Antwon our driver was polite and friendly. We arrived on time to our destinations, both coming and going. The bus was clean.

My husband and I used First Student Bus Company for our wedding and they did a great job! Easy to get a hold of, and flexible with our changing schedules. The day went smoothly, even with all of our different stops along the way. Loved our bus drivers too! Glad we chose this bus company!
Hotel-Wedding Shuttle 6-25-22
We were referred to this bus company as the hotel we chose for our wedding room block had mentioned that they offer great rates for groups that stay there.
We reached out to them to set up a shuttle to bring our guests to and from the wedding venue for before the ceremony and after the reception. They were accommodating in updating the trip times over the phone since we needed to have guests at the park early.
As we got closer to the wedding date I attempted to contact First Student several times to confirm the status of our reservation and confirm timing for the buses. I had left messages as well as put my number in the queue to be called back.
When i was finally contacted by a representative after hours, I discussed adding on an additional bus to retrieve the bridesmaids who were getting ready at a different location understanding that it may not be possible and that it would cost more for an additional bus. I was able to confirm the bus times for before and after the wedding, but was given attitude from the representative about adding on a bus. Since it was after hours they said they could put in the request but could not confirm until regular business hours. It wasn't until late afternoon the following day that I received an updated agreement via email that was simply a pdf attachment with no additional information. No other follow up to confirm the bus had been added and confirm timing.
The Friday morning before the wedding (wedding on Saturday) I called again to confirm everything. Again I was placed in the queue to be called back and also called separately to leave a message in case that would get a quicker response. Wedding day came and went and received no call back until Monday afternoon, 3 days after leaving the message.
On the morning of the wedding I decided to call one of the other numbers for the day of event. She was actually helpful and answered all of my questions and assisted in getting my contact info to one bus driver and my sister in-law's info to the other bus driver.
The bus driver in charge of picking up guests at the hotel was great in contacting me during the day to confirm times for pick up. The first bus was supposed to arrive at the hotel at 2:30 pm, she was under the impression that we were being picked up at 12:30 which I was thankfully able to correct early on in the day with her. When 2:30 pm came around the bus had not arrived yet, so I was able to call the driver to find that she was on her way over, but with us being on a tight schedule was still about 15 min later than our agreed upon pick up time.
The other bus driver picking up the bridesmaids was picking them up from a large apartment complex, so we asked them to call one of the bridesmaids to let them know as they were arriving or as they parked so the girls could meet them at the bus. They never received a call, so the bride called me to follow up (not something either of us wanted to have to figure out just hours before getting married). I called the day of contact again, who reached out to the bus driver. The bus driver said they were sitting outside the apartment waiting for the girls but never tried to contact any of them.
The driver to and from the hotel was great the rest of the night being very responsive to texts about when to pick guests up.
Some guests got on a bus from the hotel that took them to a different wedding venue which may have been for another party staying at the hotel, but the buses could have been labeled better to help ensure guests got to the right location.
Overall we had a poor experience with this company. The only reason it is not a 1 star review is because of how responsive our day of contact was. The company as a whole however has been very difficult to work with and unresponsive and failed to deliver on the contract to be at the location by the time that was agreed upon months in advance.

Bus drivers were very polite and accommodating. The trips went smoothly. In general, the buses were early or on time, but one shuttle arrived 24 minutes late at the same time as the second bus, thus making it unnecessary. Sometimes the office was hard to contact via phone, but the staff was very helpful. Payment was straightforward and the rates were fair.
Extremely dissatisfied
Extremely dissatisfied. The driver forgot the come back and pick up the bride (me). I was over 45 minutes late for my ceremony, causing everything to be pushed and I missed my entire cocktail hour because of it. It was written on the contract that the bus driver was supposed to bring the groomsmen and then return to the location to pick up the bride and bridesmaids. When we spoke to dispatch, trying to find the location of the driver, the person was extremely disrespectful and rude and was not willing to help us out at all.

We schedule so many bus trips through First Student, and overall it's a very well-organized experience. Every once in a while there is a small hiccup, but usually this seems to be at the reservation-office level, rather than the local branch. And in cases where there was a mixup, or a missed cancellation, First Student has been very helpful and appropriate in addressing the problem.
