All their servers are a pile of junk, all their servers are dying because they cannot provide quality, despite how much revenue they have. They may provide new conetent every 2 years, but they are all unqualified, people leave them, every server review says to avoid them for obvious reasons. It's good for getting to know the expansion a bit, and that's all the topic here. It's absolutely not worth the effort, the GMs are incompetent, they can't solve anything, they can't reset a weekly mission. Instead, you just get a message that you can do it next week. . it's nicknames are real for reason" The Bug Within " ... " BugStorm "

On each expansion transfer, they always reset players gold. You get to keep only 1000 gold for each high level character you got so even if you have 50 high level characters you can only keep 50k gold. They say this is to keep a good economy while allowing players to donate for millions of gold on first week of each expansion release with 0 restrictions.

It is not just the gold. They also made all items copied bound on pickup so you cannot sell or trade them. They said you can use the items to craft items and sell crafted items. This was tolerable to some point. Did they stop there? This year they went for the ultimate move to wrong the players. On announcing the transfer to the new expansion, they told players that all items will be copied and will be soulbound (as expected like each expansion). Though, on the day before the realm copy they said scratch that. We are going to remove all crafting items completely for the sake of good economy and for being fair to new players. Excuse me? You are going to wrong old loyal players for new players that may come and leave just like that? Yeah that is smart.

Also, imagine telling your players that you are going to copy the items and then making people gather and buy items during this long period and then on the day before the copying you go back on your own word. WOW. This is what you can expect from this server now.

The server has a small number of gamemasters because they are not treated fairly. They do not pay them and do not even compensate with much gold points to make them want to continue being gamemasters. Most of them quit right away.

That is why your ticket will be there for at least three days (at best) before getting an answer and sometimes you will not even get an answer. When they do answer the gamemasters cannot help you even if they want to, because they have no permissions to do anything. They keep asking people to join the staff over and over but players already know the deal. Why would they join?

Most people that stay as staff members are the ones who love to stroke their ego and wait until they become high level staff members to power trip players. That is the only advantage to becoming a gamemaster on that server now.

What else they do to wrong the players? They disable items which players worked hard to acquire. They even disabled an item that is required for leveling. You have to find other expansion areas to level because of this. They could easily auto-complete many of the bugged quests, but they will not bother. They also remove and disable stuff ingame and offer donation options to get them. Create a problem and offer a solution (just like apple).

Let us discuss the leveling experience. Low level zones all have many bugs. With each expansion they introduce more bugs that they do not fix because they prioritize the new expansion. On higher level zones, you will also find bugs and you have to find other quests to continue leveling and most of your experience on Firestorm even after leveling up involves having to constantly relog to fix issues. When a raid bugs, gamemasters cannot help you. That is the end of it until it resets. Also, they made XP rate 1x just like retail (on a private server) because 1x is toooooo fast especially with bugs. In the past they offered 3x and even 5x.

As for stability, I guess you can say that the server is stable for the most part. Though, when the server crashes, it crashes hard. A few days ago the server was crashing nonstop. Imagine an expansion they worked a long time on and then it crashes nonstop by the end. A promising start to the new expansion? Also, do not get me started on login bugs that they were made aware of over the years but will not fix. Sometimes you will be stuck outside the game for minutes to hours before you can log in. Good job.

For PvP, if you are not planning on paying you will never catch up to donors not ever. Donors can get anything they want before anyone else and dominate. There are also donor only items that give donors an edge over hardcode PvP players. If you are joining for PvP to pwn, and not planning on donating a large sum of money, just forget about it. You cannot win against people who can donate for everything plus extras. Talk about being fair to players. Right? Right??? -.-

Just a fair warning. Players who have been farming items for years and lost them thanks to the great last minute decision to wrong the players are retaliating by targeting the server with blizzard reports trying to take it down (that is what they get for trying to wrong their loyal players out of greed).

lots of bugs (never even tried to fix the most important bugs) lost of crashes 8 of them happening in a row today the entire server crashed, reloged, crash again, and repeat for 8 times, wont fix some quest so you will have to pay for the mount on their server instead of farming it up on the quest and every time you talk to them they say its a private server

Unfortunately on top of being ptw, the server is managed by illiterate and ignorant staff, and you can easily lose your efforts due to baseless issues and without any logical justification. Also, they claim to be blizzlike but to be very brief and clear, its a big Crap! nothing is in accordance with the original version and the related sources, but it is manipulated according to their taste, and the interesting thing is that even if you provide them with all the information from the original sources along with an explanation, they do not pay any attention and their behavior gets worse. This does not end only with the manipulation of the game data, and they act in a similar manner regarding the penalty and the way players are treated. In general, you don’t know on what basis and reference you should set your expectations from game conditions and server management! It’s been a year since I left retail, that was my first experience with a private server and i regret wasting time and afford with them tbh. don't even waste a second with those scumbags.

Straight up corruption , Avoid playing in this server you will end up being banned by false accusations ,and players have advantage on each others due to donations and other kind of stuff

I completely agree with you ! Something similar happened to me, not exactly but similar, I am disappointed with game master I think he lied about my comment for the game in the general chat ! they banned me from chat to not talk !

Firestorm is by far the most corrupted server. I can say that from my own experience and my all my friends who played there for years. Recently all of us got shadow banned for trying to report a staff member who threatened with DDoS-ing and Doxxing providing all the necessary evidence. Instead the admins are trying to cover it up and keep us silent, so they don't get bad publicity. Total joke

After rebranding to Firestorm-Servers things changed - it's a mostly Spanish, Pay-To-Win server. The community is extremely toxic, Staff doesn't know how to solve simple ingame problems.

If you're looking for a server to play on, I would highly advise you to look for something else.
