From what I have heard owners withholding prepaid jobs and private drivers not being paid company looks like it going down dont do jobs or book jobs through this company
So have you had problems paying since November or are you holding onto money even though you are still sending jobs out wonder how many new companies are still waiting payment it’s taken you 3 month to reply but still no payment hope all other drivers are seeing this you have been reported to the relevant authorities and we are awaiting their reply hopefully a company like yours will be stopped from trading

My company do job for them and they never pay for job negative zero stars for this scammers. And it’s not joke the shud pay 4 of September I contact them and still no money so sorry for this but is not joke now is 2 months so no another word just scammers thanks

I hired Find My Man and Van to help with a house move. I filled in a form and was quoted £127, of which I paid £34 up front. When the driver (from a company named Hogad Ltd) arrived, he saw that my building has a lift (which I had declared in the form) and said that it would be £180, on top of what I had already paid, if I wanted him to use the lift. My flatmate and I therefore had to move the heavy furniture, that I had paid to be moved, through the lift and onto the ground floor with no assistance. He continued trying to negotiate the price and insisted on £100 to be paid to his personal bank account.
The booking confirmation included a number to call if there was a problem. I called and got through to the driver manager, who just told me to pay £96 according to the quote and was completely unapologetic about his driver's behaviour. He implied that I was making a fuss over nothing as I hadn't lost any money beyond what I originally agreed.
I paid according to the booking and then reported this situation to Find My Man and Van, and requested a 50% refund as I hadn't received the service I had paid for in full. However, they said that as I had already paid there was nothing they could do to refund me, and stated that I shouldn't have paid on the day if I was not satisfied with the service. This was not indicated as an option anywhere on the booking; it simply stated to call that number if there was a problem. I also do not think that simply withholding payment is very practical advice, as there is a risk that the driver - who, after all, is a complete stranger in your home - may react aggressively.
The Find My Man and Van head office people I spoke to were polite and relatively helpful, but ultimately unable to help or provide any compensation. The only positive is that they took the complaint seriously and removed this particular service provider from their register. As they work with outsourced companies, it seems like poor quality companies do sometimes slip through the net. I would advise anyone using the service to check reviews for the specific driver company you are allocated, as that is what will determine your experience.

No still wouldnt use again after response.
If I could give zero stars I would.Do not use this company- they cannot be relied upon to help you when you need it.
The driver never showed up leaving the pick up person waiting around for nothing and me at drop off waiting for nothing.He never called. I had called
him 2 hours before job and he reassured me he would arrive 1030am..he then went incommunicado and only after I
rang the head office did he call 12 noon..to say he'd be there 2 hours later..
Booking time slots is pointless they
expect you to wait all day. They told me
they removed the driver from their
service but it left me totally stuck.The
item had to be left outside a property
waiting for pickup for 6 hours..luckily it didnt rain...if it had the delivery would have wrecked the item and made it unusable..They eventually found a
replacement for 6pm, by which point I'd had to spend 60 pounds on cabs tooing
and froing to my home ..change train bookings, swap work jobs in the hope
the new driver came. Eventually I got the furniture and the second man was nice but the company accepts no
responsibility..and just expects you to
wait all day basically.V disappointing
I would never use again and will never
recommend.Please avoid if you need
help.

Unfortunately. I am an independent removal company and do take on jobs for find my van man. It would appear that several companies in a similar position have not been paid.(a lot of recent reviews on here saying the same). I am in the same situation. Do they have problems?? Messages ignored and promises to sort out don’t happen. I would suggest customers and drivers alike think carefully about trusting them.

We had arranged for a move with the company. Upon the arrival of the van we realised it was too tall to enter the mews where we live. We had been given no explicit choice of a van and had had no chance to describe the mews - besides most vans usually fit.
This would have been okay, problems like this are expectable. We were told that if we re-scheduled the pick up we needed only to pay a £130 surcharge to cover for the gas. However, if we did not re-schedule the pick up, we would have to pay for everything in full without getting the service. Naturally, we asked to re-schedule.
The driver then proceeded to say he had no availability to return with the adequate van, both he and the lady in the office refused to re-schedule the pick up resulting in us having to pay the full amout without receiving the service.
We asked *repeatedly* to have the service re-scheduled but this was denied on grounds that it was too long a trip for the driver and it wasn't worth it. It is quite obvious that the re-scheduling was denied in bad faith in order to collect the money for a service that was not provided.
Quite unfortunately this will result in further financial loss because we will need to hire a different company to provide the service that was denied to us in bad faith. This abhorrent behaviour resulted in an anxiety crisis for my wife, showing the blatant disregard of the company towards the well being of their costumers.
Please save your money and hire someone else.
About the response: it's good that your clients can see the complete admission of guilt behind the terms and conditions. We did not ask the driver to re-schedule for the next day, he simply said he would not come back at any time and that was that. It was a bad-faith exploitation of your terms and conditions and this is obvious for any reader. Let them be the judge of whether you are a trustworthy service.

My move was carried out brilliantly by Fabian & Chris in Belfast, and I left them a 5-star review supported by your excellent customer care team. However, I paid your company over 4 weeks ago on the understanding that you would manage the service, including ensuring the contractors were paid. The agreed payment date to them of 14th September has passed, and they still have not received what they are owed.
This constitutes a breach of contract and misrepresentation of services: I paid your company not only for the introduction but for the handling of the move, which included settling with the movers. Since you have failed to perform your obligations, I am legally entitled to dispute this transaction with my card issuer under the chargeback rules for services not provided as agreed.
If timely payment to the movers is not made, I will initiate a chargeback to recover my funds and pay them directly. It’s a poor show to not pay your contractors on the ground who are your entire business model. Please make this right ASAP.

Everything possible went wrong. I looked on the reviews and thought that it would be a good site for removal. The office was very good unfortunately the subcontractors were opposite. They arrived 4 hours later after going to the wrong address. I had requested two people, one person had knowledge of removal the driver had none. The van was filthy, looking more like something used for transport of materials. They had no shoe protection covers, I supplied them , still no idea to take them off when outdoors and only wear them indoors. They arrived at the destination at 7 pm . By this time they were tired there shoe protection covers were ripped , the family had to carry the goods upstairs as the carpets were going to get damaged along with the walls due to the inability of the driver to help get furniture upstairs in a proper manner. I had requested assembly for the beds , they struggled with putting them together. With hindsight I should have called this removal off. I do wonder if the reviews written are true.

Really happy with the service. It was reasonably priced, very professional and responsive, and Napoleon and Jason who were assigned to my move were extremely polite and pleasant and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure my items were safe and I was happy with them. I also spoke to Aaron who was also very polite and helpful. I would definitely use Find My Man and Van again.

Van was on time, Luke the driver was helpful and very friendly. Communication was excellent. I travelled with the van up to London and felt very safe and comfortable. The move went very smoothly and I didn't have to lift and thing. Thank you for a great service and will definitely call again.
