We had often used a local funeral director but it closed down so looked online for a replacement. Fenix staff were understanding and helpful and all requirements for the funeral were met

Fenix Funerals made an extremely difficult experience a beautiful one. From the first phone call, the compassion offered to me brought so much comfort and peace. Stephen Semple and Therese Walker now feel like friends whose care and support at this time will never be forgotten. They were truly amazing providing warmth and empathy throughout. They went above and beyond to ensure the service was delivered professionally and lovingly.
It was a genuine gift to be supported by Fenix.

The person who made all the arrangements was excellent. She took care of all the details, and guided me through the process with great warmth and kindness.
The cost was fair

I recently lost my mum and the pain of the loss was beyond words. From the moment I contacted Fenix, I felt like I was in good hands. They were so compassionate and respectful. I mostly dealt with Liz, who was so kind and patient with me. She made sure we had everything we needed to make the day special for my mum, even adapting the flower arrangements so they were her favourites. Thank you, Liz.

Very respectful and engaging

When I got the news of my brother passing away I had to sort out the funeral and after looking on the internet I found Fenix and was so glad I did. From day one they so helpful in pointing me in the right direction in dealing with things, in fact they took over in dealing with the coroner for me sorting out all the relevant paperwork because to me it was a minefield. I spoke to Maria most days and she helped me through a very sad and stressful time always being there for me right up to the day of the funeral. Also I was put in touch with the lady who did the service at the crematorium her name is Shirly and what a help she was in helping me arrange the service for my late brother. Me and Shirly spoke most days and just like Maria they both were very understanding and sympathetic to my needs. And after the funeral I have received emails from both just to check and see how I was and if everything was ok

I found Elizabeth so helpful, kind , considerate and very professional. She went out of her way to make a sad situation a lot smoother. Her customers services skills are second to none. I would recommend Elizabeth over and over again

Very professional and helpful from start to the end

I can’t say enough about how amazing Fenix was especially Stephen Semple (funeral arranger) during such a difficult time for our family. From the beginning to even after the funeral he was compassionate, attentive, and incredibly supportive and made the process very smooth making sure to contact us often as the process was ongoing. He truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be tailoring it to our wishes. He made sure to contact us the day before the funeral to make sure we were ready and happy with everything which shows the level of care that Stephen has as a funeral arranger and even after the funeral he reached out to ask if we was happy with everything. The level of genuine care is something you don’t often see and I am very grateful would. I 100% recommend Stephen from Fenix Funeral as your funeral arranger.

Excellent service from start to finish - made a difficult time much easier

I can't thank Fenix enough for the care, compassion and efficiency they provided for us. They are so professional but also so personal, just what one needs at such a difficult time in one's life.

Fenix helped massively in trying times, Maria Tucker (Funeral Arranger) worked with us remotely as I wasn’t local, she did an outstanding job and delivered a wonderful service for Mum.
The aftercare was fantastic, the whole process was made more bearable by Maria’s caring compassionate manner.

Theresa "T" Walker is one of the most honest, kind hearted and so obviously passionate about her job it is unbelievable. My friend was only 24 when he passed and I had no idea how to build and put together a funeral and through T's support she helped make it so special and so beautiful. Not only was she good at her job but the additional emotional support that T offered is not part of the job and yet her love and support was felt so immensely. It is sad for any of our loved ones to die but T made it feel as though Aaron (my friend who funeral it was) and the experience we was going through was special and different. I will forever be greatful for the work T did alongside us. My beautiful friend can now rest easy. If I had to put any negative it would be from the celebrant who was stand offish. When suggestions were being made and miscommunications had been brought up to ensure mistakes were changed she would just double down and go on about what an experienced celebrant she was? Also caused alot of anxiety bringing up multiple times how there is a 400 pound fine if we go over our service (which we were aware of). Changed the order of the service after the funeral guides at been made? Therefore making the guides incorrect on the day. But bar that one staff member everyone else we worked with couldn't have been better. And couldn't have been kinder.

I found fenix at the worst time of my life. I didn’t know where or how to start the process. From the beginning to the end they gave me the most amount of support and guidance. Not too much, but just enough. My funeral director did an Outstanding job of taking the stress and worry away from an already difficult time. She made me and my family feel included and heard in the planning of my brothers service and was always there with advise and a sense of calm which made the whole experience easy. I couldn’t recommend fenix highly enough. I will forever be grateful.

From our very first conversation, everyone we worked with was so kind and caring and wonderful. Our brother passed away while traveling in London and we were not able to travel overseas to finalize his arrangements. We envisioned this to be a difficult task, however, with Fenix Funeral it was not. Everything went so smoothly and we were kept informed with every detail. Our funeral advisor, Fiona Collett, did an amazing job and we were blessed to have worked with her.

If I had it my way there would be no star
I’m giving 1 star because I can’t give none. I would say avoid this company like the plague. The complete wrong casket was used for my nan’s funeral, flower arrangement was awful and a song was missed from the service despite being written on the order of service. Cannot express the heartache they caused our family. The final journey for a lady that was loved so much, adored and cherished was ruined by incompetence and blame shifting. This will stay with us forever.
