Just before Christmas our bathroom lights failed. We looked online for a local electrician and, having read the positive comments regarding Farthing Electrical, phoned James to describe the problem. He was sympathetic and booked us in for the next day. His colleague Harry came ahead of time, completely changed all the fittings and made an excellent job of it. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company and would certainly use them again.

James not only managed to fit us in on the same day, but was very capable, helpful and honest. He gave us a good quote, fixed our electrical problem straight away, and was clean and mindful in the property. I had excellent service from James & Harry. The quote was done with James using an optional WhatsApp video call which I found very useful. They did a great job providing an EICR and two additional sockets for me. They were very professional, arriving on time and leaving everything neat & tidy. James has recently completed a complete rewrite of our flat which we moved into in the summer. James completed the work to a very high standard and worked extremely hard to complete the first fix work in as short a time as possible (even working over the weekend). The second fix was then completed by Harry who was also very competent. Harry also fitted some additional overcupoard lighting for us recently following installation of a new kitchen. I cannot praise James (and Harry) enough for the excellent work they carried out for me. In all there were eight different jobs for them to do in my house, And they kept me informed at every stage just to how things were going. They worked incredibly hard all day, hardly stopping for a break. They were very respectful of my needs, and The whole experience was free from any stress at all. And they did such a fantastic job tidying up afterwards, but I told them I hardly needed my cleaner to come the next day!
