I'm leaving this review because I had an excellent experience with EzTestPools.com. I ordered three Hayward vacuum hoses for my pool cleaner. The price was the best I could find and the shipping was reasonable. The item shipped fast and was received quickly. The hoses were packed in an appropriate shipping box. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this company, but I would certainly buy from them again. Thanks.

BE WARNED! while they state they accept returns i purchased the wrong pool filter size and was it a costly mistake. They also go by the name EZ Pools and Spas. Their customer service knows nothing. The filer cost $230 and I paid $80 to ship back to them. Plus, they charged me 20% restocking fee. I would never buy from them again.

BUYER BEWARE!! Ordered product July 19th, now August 5th, my credit card was charged(over $250). NEVER received product. Called MANY times talked with a person 2-3 times out of 10? times. NO RESPONSE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

EZ Test Pool supply is nothing more than a Website that manages transactions of purchases from their customers. I bought a Dolphin Wave 100 commercial from them with an understanding of four payments with ZERO interest. The unit arrived and financing was somehow assigned and approved through Affirm at 34% interest without my approval. When I heard this E-Z Test Pool told me I could return the unit at a 20% restocking fee and I PAY return shipping. They misled me and put me in a position where I had to spend $1000 to return a $4000 purchase I made. They could not justify how I went from Zero interest payments to 34% through Affirm. Because interest went from zero to 34% I would have had to spend $1000 to return the unit. (That's Bait and Switch) In all fairness they waived the 20% restocking fee but still insisted I pay for shipping if I disagreed with the 34% interest that came from no-where without my knowledge. I should have been told interest would be 34% instead of zero as promised when I made the purchase. When I realized what was going on I immediately PAID IN FULL to stop the interest bleeding. In three days, interest compounded daily, I ended up paying over $100 in interest. Buyers be aware and stay away!

Be forewarned that if you have to return anything to them, you have to pay for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.

We were given an updated product number on a part we needed to replace so that we could order a replacement. The picture on their site looked just like our part. We received the wrong part which arrived after a "delayed" shipping.

So, just be aware of this if you get the wrong part or the part is not what you thought it was and have to return it.

Not a good experience. The company oversold and under produced. The installation took much longer than I was told. The communication was lacking in the entire process. When I tried to speak to the owner about my concerns I was referred to the company attorney, and was told they would only communicated through him. I was blown away. A business that hadn't completed the work they had contracted to do and when a customer wants to address it they are redirected to the attorney. I regret ever hiring this company.

On 11/29/24, this company had the Hayward W3H400FDP propane pool heater advertised for $1,499, and showed 15 available. I made the purchase and received a order confirmation email. Afterwards I received another email stating the order had been cancelled. When chatting with customer service, they stated it wasn't available. I re-checked their site, and it still showed available, but they had jacked the price up to $3,999. Bottom line is they didn't want to honor their advertised price on this heater! They are a total scan, and only did this to obtain my credit card information!

Explain why you “can’t” ship to the UNITED STATES Virgin Islands. We are a part of the United States and use the US Postal system. This makes no sense.

I place an order for a circuit board for a Hayward Salt system on a Sunday and I received the part on Wednesday. Very fast shipping and I spoke with customer service on Monday. They were the cheapest for the part I needed and they shipped it quickly. I will definitely purchase from them in the future.

Ordered from them about a month ago and I never got the part. I got an email that was checking if I got the part I said no they said wait two days and then contact them!! What the hell kind of customer service is that! I wont order from them again

I've been a customer of EZ Test Pool Supplies for several years and their staff is wonderful. They installed a Radiant pool for my wife and I about 6 years ago and it hasn't had a single problem. Last year, we bought a spa from them about the same time one of our neighbors bought a spa from St Cyr. They had the heater serviced twice on it and we haven't had a single issue with ours! The pool and spa chemicals are very fairly priced and we take advantage of their spring sale every year. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a pool, spa, chemicals, equipment, or even just advice.

My wife and I purchased a house in March that had a pool and we knew nothing about running a pool. A neighbor recommended that we stop in and talk to the folks at EZ Test. We scheduled a pool opening with their service company and when the pool was opened in May, we brought water samples to help balance the water. They recommended Enjoy kits which are very easy to use. The pool was running all summer with basically no issues. I thought running a pool would be a lot more challenging. Everyone that I have talked to at the company has been patient, helpful, and honest. Thank you for all your help!

E-Z Test Pools is an excellent company. They installed our pool 4 years ago and did a great job. We regularly visit the Plaistow store for chemicals and supplies. The staff is very helpful and we take advantage of the water lab to get an accurate reading of our pool water. I have never left disappointed!

In February 2022 I ordered a $2500 spa heater that had an 8-12 week lead time. My credit card was charged and an order confirmation was received.

In April 2022 when I inquired about its status, the same person in Customer Service replied to me, stating that my order was still on track (we know now she obviously didn’t even bother checking).

When 8 more weeks went by with no further communication whatsoever I again inquired on 7/7/22, only this time a different person replied and admitted the order had never actually been placed.

I received no explanations or apologies about how these things happened from anyone in management at the company, and the only offer to “make it right” was a $50 discount and of course wait another 8-12 weeks while we do what said we had done back in February.

I cancelled the order with a full refund and have spent that money now with another company, as E-Z Test Pool Supplies doesn’t seem to care about its customers’ satisfaction, certainly not mine at least.

waited a week on a part that was supposed to ship in 2 to 4 business days. called customer support, had to leave a message since they apparently don't work 5 days a week. turns out they don't have the part and don't know when they can get it. guess they didn't think it was important to let me know that... or keep accurate info on their site. my pool went downhill considerably in the time they wasted.

These people are great and usually very helpful, I’ve been a client for 10 years +! However don’t trust their online prices, I looked on line and a 7 pack full 1 partial set of elements for a DI filter was listed at $134.00. When I got there they were $35.00 each including the partial which ended up being $299.00 with 9 lbs Alk Rise. I know my $1000.00 a year I spend is a small drip in their bucket but from now on someone else will get my Grand!!!

Ridiculously slow order processing. When you are placing your order, they say orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours. After you place the order and your credit card is charged, your order conformation says that orders are processed in 3-5 days or possibly longer. When they finally get your order out the door, They use a 1 star rated shipping company called R&L Carriers that is the worst in the business and will likely take several days to deliver if they do at all. I had to drive to their terminal 3.5 hrs each way) to get my pool filter. I would shop elsewhere if you need anything in a reasonable timeframe

I would give 0 zeros if possible. They sold me a part that destroyed my pump motor for $120 and now I’ll have to buy a new motor for $220. The worst part is they are ignoring my

I purchased a pool from D and P/EZ Test pools and it was installed last fall, it was covered for the winter, in the spring the cover was taken off and we got it up and running, this is when I noticed that the pool water levels were dropping at a higher rate than I thought was normal and the liner they installed was very wrinkled. I sent an email to the sales guy at EZ Test who is super nice but wasn't able to give me a solid answer about what normal water evaporation is so I did some research and found out that my water drop was above what was normal, it wasn't even hot and water was evaporating 1/4 inch in 24 hours and now that it's hot it's 1 " in 48 hours. EZ Test did send out their guy Dean to pressure test the plumbing to see if it is leaking under ground and he said it wasn't they also tried to remove the many wrinkles that were in the liner that they installed but they didn't come out, I sent several more emails and called numerous more times but Dave would never call me back, I was told they can't give out his number and that he doesn't have email. In my opinion Dave lacks communication skills and can't talk to the clients so he has others communicate for him. M y first email to EZ Test regarding the water levels/wrinkles was 5/20/21 and we are now at 6/29/21 and no response from Dave. I found a general email address for D and P and sent an email and received a return email from Trisha that I would be hearing from their attorney. I have no idea why they would be suing me because I have paid them $40K for a pool that is leaking and has a wrinkled liner. Now my patio is sinking next to the pool and it seems likely that water from the pool is causing this problem. I am not completely sure at this point but I will be finding out. I would stay away from this company at all cost, I regret my decision to buy a pool from them, their sales guy John in North Reading is super nice and I trusted him but he doesn't own the company and bottom line in my experience Dave takes the money and runs and has no integrity

EZ Test Pools stays current on tech, is a vast resource of knowledge, and goes out of their way to ensure customer support/satisfaction. I was receiving misinformation from other pool companies and the manufacture of a product. I became frustrated and Robert did not waiver on his advice or give up on me. As a result, I did not buy a high ticket item other pool companies incorrectly stated were necessary and the manufacture corrected its unethical stance. EZ Test Pool Supplies is a rare bred and has earned my customer loyalty over surfing to save a few bucks. As a tax accountant, I understand the stress of a seasonal business and the importance of customer service. The next time someone is screaming at me because they are frustrated with the tax code “during peak season”-I will remember how Robert treated me and smile. Look no further for a better business and role model. Don’t get fooled by any other name in the luxury pool product space. Make sure you use EZ Test Pool Supplies trusted since 1989. Glad I found them.
