Glad to have participated in this venture by PwC and Paragon One filled with motivating colleagues and dedicated leaders. The growth and skills I acquired along this program have been enriching as I was challenged but at the same time given the tools and resources to push through problems and deliver results in a real-life business decision.

I learned the skills that are needed to conduct the rebranding of a company's image as we focused on how to make the name, logo, and tagline of the Southern Scholarship Foundation more appealing and effective toward its goal. In the comparative analysis we did I was able to improve my research skills and sharpen my time management to be efficient along with many other skills that will complement my career in the future.

All my gratitude to the PwC, SSF, and most importantly the Paragon One leads that led us through this journey.

I completed a Non-Profit Consulting Remote Externship with Paragon One in collaboration with PwC and Colorado "I Have A Dream"​ Foundation this summer.

During this seven-week externship, I further developed crucial skills such as trend analysis, market mapping, and impact assessment. I am also delighted to share that I was chosen as a final presenter and shared my research and recommendations with all the exceptional professionals involved in this opportunity.

This externship has been one of my most rewarding professional experiences. Not only did I connect, learn, and collaborate with fellow externs and professionals from PwC and Paragon One. I was also able to voice potential solutions to existing challenges to a non-profit that has impacted the lives of so many people.

It was truly an honor to dive into the consulting world while working with such an extraordinary non-profit and the PwC and Paragon One team!

Even if you’re not familiar with something, it’s crucial that you take that chance.

Sometimes we can be our enemies in that sense— we stop ourselves from trying new things when it’s different or new.

I came around an opportunity for consulting, something I was interested in but knew NOTHING about. This time around, I decided to take that chance and believe I could do it.

During this externship, I was able to dive into the world of consulting and Non-profit work to help ICD-Institute for Career Development, an organization that equips individuals with disabilities the skills they need to have a smooth transition into the workforce, by conducting research and curating a presentation at the end to showase the ways in which they can diversify their revenue!

I had a great experience and I want to give thanks Michael Guerrero, Esteban Ramirez, and Max Siegrist, MA for thé great experience. Every student should hear about this, honestly. I’m so happy I did.

During the course of this externship, I conducted specific research pertaining to Gen-Z's perspective about Beats, and gained insight into how those qualitative data could be useful. I developed a myriad of new skills including data analysis with Excel, and more importantly, the art of synthesizing and presenting that data in a concise manner.
I'm really grateful to Paragon One, and specifically my supervisor Michael Guerrero, whose guidance and support made this experience one I will never forget.

I came into this externship with no experience in Consulting or interaction with non-profits; Trent was an excellent programme manager and helped me answer any questions I had, no matter how dumb it was. I became confident in my ability to conduct market research and strengthened my presentation skills. It also gave me the chance to improve my career profile with relevant experience that otherwise I would have no access too because of my school and grades. This really changed my life and I will always thank Paragon for their excellent work and compassion to students.

This summer from mid June to July, I was apart of the seven week Paragon One externship with PwC and Develop for Good. I was able to network with other students from around the USA, and also received extraordinary mentorship from Michael Guerrero and Esteban Ramirez.

During this seven week period I was able to gain a new feel for consulting. We worked closely with Develop for Good to analyze strategies that
they already had implemented, then researched on these strategies and finally presented our findings to help DFG improve as a non profit organization to reach more college students.

I gained valuable new insight in nonprofit work and consulting and would like to thank PwC and Paragon One for this wonderful opportunity.

This summer, I was determined to do something that not only made me feel productive, but was also extremely rewarding and enriching. 

Thanks to the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy, I found the perfect avenue to fulfil all my expectations. 

I recently completed my Marine and Community Conservation Externship, organised by Paragon One, and it would be an understatement to say that it was one of the best opportunities I could’ve bagged! 

Not only did the program allow me to interact with conservation experts and enthusiasts from all over the globe, it also gave me the chance to get a deeper understanding of the local marine issues and their impact on the local communities. 

I would like to thank LaRae Snoddy, Max Siegrist, MA, and my TAs for their constant support and guidance. A big thank you to Professor Divya Karnad as well for giving me her time and providing me with some invaluable insights!

This summer I was able to participate in the Paragon One Non-Profit Consulting Externship, organized in partnership with PwC and CollegeSpring. This externship provided me with the opportunity to learn more about market research and market analysis.

I conducted market research on CollegeSpring and its competitors in the college preparedness space. I used market mapping to provide an overall analysis and engaging recommendation presentation for CollegeSpring. CollegeSprings' commitment to providing college preparatory needs to marginalized students piqued my interest. 

Thank you for informing me about this fantastic chance, Czar Kenjio Kabamalan! I now have a newfound appreciation for the nonprofit industry and the fundraising strategies employed to boost donor responsiveness. I want to express my gratitude to Max Siegrist, MA, and Trent S. Lawrence, Jr., MPA for their unwavering support and counsel during the program.

This summer, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Paragon One 7- week, Non-Profit Consulting Remote Externship in collaboration with PwC and Develop for Good.

Within this time, I was able to meet an incredible group of students, receive mentorship from Paragon One representatives, like Michael Guerrero and Esteban Ramirez, and PWC representatives like Jodi-Ann Wray and Lauren Grzyboski, CFE, CAMS, MBA, and gain new and exciting insights about the Non-Profit and Consulting industries.

I am very grateful to have attained outstanding completion of this externship and to have been chosen as a final presenter, where I was able to present my findings and recommendations to Develop for Good.

Thank you Paragon One and PwC for this amazing opportunity that has allowed me to cultivate my analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as allowed me to help an organization improve their operations and communication frameworks to benefit the lives of future students and companies for years to come.

I would like to share some of the experience I had in the Marine & Community Conservation Remote Externship, promoted by Paragon One in partnership with National Geographic and The Nature Conservancy. The aim of the eight-week program was for us to develop research on some issue related to marine conservation in a community, and present it through storytelling on ArcGIS' StoryMaps platform. Every week, we had meetings with other participants, experts, and professionals from both organizations, and we were able to ask questions and share our processes with colleagues, always with great support. It was a very rich experience to learn from professionals from organizations I admire and from other experts in marine and community conservation, to learn more about something I have been working with, storytelling applied to research, and meet people from different parts of the world. Very excited to have completed the Marine & Community Conservation Remote Externship hosted by Paragon One , National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy

It was an incredible learning experience during the last 2 months that has given me many tools to develop conservation projects develop awareness for environmental issues and create an impact in local communities.

For my project, I researched marine conservation issues in the Colombian Pacific region of Chocó where I focused on the Plastic Pollution problem. Make sure to read more about this issue in my visual storytelling article on ArcGIS StoryMaps titled "When is Paradise Truly Lost".

I encourage anyone, no matter their academic background, who is interested in taking action and making a change in their community through conservation or awareness to apply for this externship. I am excited to announce that I have completed my 7-week remote externship with PwC in collaboration with Paragon One! Within these past weeks, I have utilized consulting frameworks and conducted market research to gain real-world experience through work with a non-profit organization to offer solutions for the business. This externship helped me develop my research and analytical skills as well as sharpen my ability to present information to others in a team and professional environment.

I want to thank Czar Kenjio Kabamalan for reaching out to me for this amazing opportunity and Trent S. Lawrence, Jr., MPA for guiding me through this process and advising me through the research and presentation periods. The transferrable aspects of this externship are things I will be able to apply to my overall professional career and I am happy to have completed this position with such a great company!

I am excited to shared that I have completed my summer externship with Paragon One in collaboration with PwC and The Seneca Foundation . Through the 8 weeks I have met amazing students, utilize consulting framworks to identify problem areas, cultivated relationships, and gained knowledge about consulting.

This summer, I had a great externship experience with PwC and Paragon One. I had the opportunity to work with a non-profit organization named Develop For Good. I analyzed the STEM education funding sector, researched possible donors, and presented my findings. My insights and recommendations were taken into consideration to better the future of Develop For Good. I was also given insight on what exactly a consultant is and what they do.

Thankful for the opportunity to have worked with PwC and Paragon One as an Extern over the past 7 weeks.

The goal was to develop some communication and marketing strategies for Develop for Good, a non-profit focused on solving technical solutions for other non-profits as well as enabling current college students and recent graduates to gain experience.

I learned about the "in's and out's" of the non-profit sector, tried my hand at consulting, developed better research and presentation habits, and made some awesome connections!
