Recently had cataracts removed from both eyes. Attended Prema clinic in Portsmouth for the operation performed by Mr Shah. Everything was so well organised and quick. Decided to stay overnight and fly back to Jersey the following day. Today nine days after the procedure had my follow up appointment and Mr Shah has discharged me. A fantastic result, my eyesight is brilliant and suffered no discomfort. Would highly recommend both Mr Shah and Evolution Eye Clinic.

Seamless experience. Travelled from Jersey on the day and stayed overnight as my appointment was at 3.30. Very welcoming staff complimented the modern and comfortable surroundings. I had cataracts removed from both eyes and was back at the hotel within 2 hours. By the following morning my eyesight was already improving and the results have far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Shay and the whole team at Prema and in Jersey have been excellent and I couldn’t recommend them more.

I had cataract surgery done on both of my eyes on the 26th February. I opted to go to Portsmouth as I could see family the day before. Mr Shah explained what he was going to do on a previous appointment and gave me plenty of options. All of the team both in Jersey at the Evolution Eye Care and at at the Prema clinic in Portsmouth were incredibly kind, helpful and fantastic in their respective roles and I always felt at ease. Mr Shah explained during the operation what would be happening. I flew back to Jersey that evening. I had booked special assistance at Southampton Airport but didn’t really need it as my vision was so much better than I thought it would be so soon after my surgery. The next morning I was driving. I had emails from Evolution Eye Care checking up on me. I saw Mr Shah a few days ago and he has signed me off. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

I can honestly say the care, kindness and professionalism received from Mr Shah together with both his teams, at Evolution Eye Care and the Jersey General Hospital Day Care Unit has been tremendous throughout.
Mr Shah clearly explained the cataract procedure, together with the different lens options. He calmly answered all my concerns and put my mind at ease.
I elected to stay on Island for my surgery as l did not wish to travel to the UK, for me this was absolutely the right decision.
Mr Shah is an exceptional, skilful surgeon. I am delighted to have the sight back in my left eye, it’s perfect.I cannot thank Mr Shah enough for such a successful outcome, it’s amazing to have a clear 20/20 vision.
I absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Mr Shah and Evolution Eye Care, their care is outstanding. l will be arranging to have my other eye operated on very soon.
