Rust and Cracked Plates Are Considered "Normal" by This Company
The Evolpow smith machine looked good online, but the pulleys started squeaking after a week. The bolts are already showing rust, and one of the weight plates was cracked. Customer service said rust is ‘normal’ and not covered under warranty. For the price, I expected much better quality. Avoid this brand.

Messy Packaging, Cleanup Hassle
The packaging was a disaster—styrofoam bits and plastic everywhere. It took an hour to clean up the mess it left in my garage. They could at least make it eco-friendly or less chaotic.

Time-Consuming Setup, Cheap Screws
Assembly took two full days because the screws kept stripping—total junk quality. The tools they sent were flimsy too, making it even harder. My hands were sore by the end, and I hated every minute.

Noisy Pulleys, Annoying Workouts
The pulleys squeak like crazy every time I use them—loud enough to ruin any workout. I asked support for help, and they told me to grease it myself. A brand-new item shouldn’t need fixes right out of the box!

Wobbly Frame, Feels Unsafe...
Once assembled, the whole thing shakes like it’s about to collapse. I added some weight, and it wobbled so much I stopped using it—felt like a safety hazard. They claim it holds hundreds of pounds, but I wouldn’t trust it with half that. Really disappointing build quality.

Missing Parts, Delayed Use
cctor, so I couldn’t finish setting it up. I contacted support, and they said they’d send it, but it took 12 days to arrive. Until then, I had a half-built machine sitting around, totally useless. What a waste of time.

Unreliable Tracking, Shipping Anxiety

Damaged Parts, Slow Replacement
One of the bars arrived bent out of shape, so I contacted them for a replacement. They promised to send a new one, but it took over two weeks to arrive—only after I nagged them repeatedly. Meanwhile, I couldn’t use the equipment at all. The delay and hassle were ridiculous.

Overpriced for Low Quality...
The price seemed like a steal, but now I get why it’s so cheap. The frame feels thin, the welds are rough, and it doesn’t feel sturdy at all. Compared to other equipment I’ve used, this is nowhere near worth the money. It’s a classic case of ‘you get what you pay for,’ and I regret falling for it.

Confusing Instructions, Installation Nightmare...
The instruction manual was a total disaster—blurry diagrams, steps that didn’t match, and text that made no sense. It took me an entire day to assemble, mostly guessing as I went. I had to scour YouTube for help because the company didn’t provide anything useful. For something this expensive, they should at least make it easy to put together.
