Poor customer service for private prescription
I booked an appointment for mounjaro. Saw the pharmacist no problem. Went to counter for the private prescription and was given one box. I asked if it was all in the one box and assistant confirmed. When I went to use it there were no needles. So I rang and explained. Was told my husband could call in to collect which he did. He was told by the assistant that I didn't have a prescription despite there being less than an hour between me phoning and he going in. THREE phone calls later the needles were delivered.
I know that I could get this item online and delivered with none of this poor service. I wanted a monitored weight loss programme. I had decided to use mounjaro for 3 months to see the impact and effect. I'll go back one more time and see what service is like then.

Medal worthy employees
The customer facing people lifted this experience from fair to excellent. After booking and paying at Bramley for the privately paid covid vaccine our appts were cancelled within a day - clearly due to a system that was not updated re pharmacist pending absence.
I emailed head office manager for advice and received no reply or acknowledgement.
Things improved when after a few days I called Bramley branch and a most helpful gentleman (sorry I didn't get his name) pursued the matter, advised re next steps and helped me contact head office in Manchester by phone. In Manchester an Irish sounding lady (sorry I didn't get her name) was amazingly patient, reassuring and sorted out a new appt at Ravensthorpe. Ir did not look as if the payment return had been activated but mgt was uncontactable at the time of calling so we agreed that the payment would stand for the new appt. I had to call her again when the payment was returned before the second appt and once again she confirmed all was well and we could pay by cash on the day.
At Ravensthorpe, Aswan the chemist was welcoming and so helpful, offering to contact head office re one payment still pending return and inviting me to call him should it not be returned.
I urge Everest - clearly a large company - a)to tighten up their automated system updates so that advance bookings cannot be made when absences are pending and so that payments are either returned promptly - or assigned against new bookings - not delayed, then refunded with automated msges that take no account of the further booking and necessitate additional phone calls
b) to improve their mgt authorisation and responses to cancelled customers - most especially as regards prompt payment return approval: dedicated service managers not distracted and unavailable due to "meetings" might help eradicate long waits and confusion and ease the burden on frontline staff from unravelling problems with no advice available
c) reward the excellent frontline staff mentioned at Bramley and Ravensthorpe and Manchester who had to act with no response from managers when they each tried to call them and who raised the reputation of the company in following through unassisted to resolve. Hats off to them.
