This company took 5 breakdown trucks and 22.5 hours to make a less than 4 hour journey, i had a child and a baby with me, this is disgusting

Do not use them.
We breakdown on a German motorway and we had to wait over 7 hours for recovery. It was an extremely dangerous place (no speed limit zone). There was a waterfilled ditch on the side of the hard shoulder and we had to stay with the vehicle throughout the 7 hours. I did confirm this multiple times that our life is in danger, but it didn't help. I called them up every 30-40 minutes and the answer was always; the recovery car will be there soon (Every single time).
I have purchased the golden package means; I can hire a car to continue our journey. First, they confirmed I can hire a car and then called me several times and said I cannot hire a car! When I spoke with a supervisor I told her I have recorded ever single conversation with my cube app. They called me up a couple of hours later and apologied and confined " yes you can hire a car" Eventually I got my car back from Germany 2 months later. I made a complain against the 7 hours waiting time on the German motorway (no speed limit zone). The conclusion came back : 2 months waiting for my car to get it repatriated is not a problem (?). I was complained against the 7 hours waiting time. Anyway I had not much time to think about this. I am super busy with work, but I still have all the recorded conversation and I do thinking about to send it to a solicitor. Not only a terrible company, but also put our life in danger with their incompetence.

First call - a woman was eating during speaking to me on the phone and spent 1hour to find my details in the system.
Yes, one hour in total, including disconnecting and re-connecting with me due to talking to her friend on her mobile phone.
Finally she promised me that someone from local co-operators will contact me within 40 minutes.
Local people contacted me in 1.5h with very poor English, not good enough for clear communication.
They promised to send an assistance within an hour and in the meantime to find a tire for me.
While I was waiting I replaced the wheel for the spear one which was the space saving one so I cold only drive to the nearest garage.
When a local man arrived he said he can take me to the garage at my choice. How do I know where the garage is in the place I've never been before
and after 6pm?
I called UK office again to organize accommodation for my wife and my 10-year old daughter.
They promised to call me back within one hour which obviously never happened.
I called them again and they promised to call me back again :)
After around 5 hours on the motorway I decided to drive carefully to the nearest hotel.
Called them again and asked if they will pay for my accommodation. They said "yes" and promised to send the assistance with the new tire early in the morning.
Nobody called me next day. I found the local garage, replace the tire and called the back to ask what they want me to supply to get the money back.
They asked me to send all the bills.
I sent the bills two weeks age and guess what? Nothing, no response at all.
Sent two emails asking if there is any progress, both were ignored.
I'm calling them again today. :)
Quick update:
I called them every day last week Monday to Friday to ask if there is any progress. They asked twice to resend all the details and bills I've already sent and promised to call me back within an hour. Obviously there was no single call.
What a joke! Lie after lie followed by not being able to reach an English speaking agent. Should have gone with a bigger provider to know that I was with a company who knew what I was going through.
