Karin and her team were excellent all around - very responsive, very professional and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was trouble-free. Darian was an amazing tour guide and took care of every detail - so knowledgeable and caring. We will definitely look to Espiritu Travel to organize our next adventure!

What a FABULOUS trip! We especially appreciated how responsive and attentive you and your team were to us! From the planning through the adjustments that needed to be made during the actual vacation, your first class agency was a dream to work with!

Though the trip started off a little shaky, with a missed connection before we even got to Spain and a much later than planned arrival in Madrid, the driver was indeed waiting for us - I was never so relieved as when I saw him holding up that sign.

The next morning when we weren't able to get to the train station on time due to traffic, I started to worry that maybe this was not going to be such a great time!. Espiritu responded with options and such care that we were completely able to relax on the surprise drive down to Malaga. The driver was kind and personable and the car trip was delightful. Our Sunset Cruise was even scheduled for the next evening thanks to Espiritu!

The EBike tour the next morning in Malaga was so much fun! Our guide, Mavi, was delightful and her knowledge of the history and the area was a true bonus!

I would highly recommend stopping at Frigiliana for a couple of hours for anyone driving to Granada. It is adorable, teeming with very friendly shop owners, and just a lot of fun to walk around.

The tour at Granada's Alhambra was definitely a highlight of the trip. Gabriela made us feel so welcome and her enthusiasm and passion for the site was contagious. EXCELLENT guide! Being from the United States, we can barely fathom the age of some of the structures and experiences that we learned about.

The Hammam the night before really got us in the right frame of mind for what an integral role Spain played in the history of the world as we know it.

The hotel in Alicante was truly memorable. We did not have all that much time to explore there, but we didn't mind after the excitement of the last few days and it was nice to sit at the rooftop lounge with the complimentary bottle of Cava after walking along the beach boardwalk and eating fresh seafood!

Valencia - not one regret about making this the longest stay of our trip! Had a blast at the paella cooking class, and once the chef got wind of the fact we were celebrating our 40th anniversary, the whole class helped us celebrate. Appreciated the time on our own to explore so much of Valencia, especially El Mercado Centro and the whole old quarter. One day we rented EBikes again and went to the Arts and Sciences Museum on the Jardin de Turia and then over to the beach for several hours. Glorious!
The tour to Albufera (which was scheduled for 4 hours, but lasted the whole day) had so much food, conversation, and information that it filled our hearts, stomachs and souls. Valeria was the perfect companion for this trip with her knowledge and zeal.

Onto Barcelona and the magnificent tour of La Sagrada Familia with Dani. He was everything one could hope for on a tour of this magnitude! He took us through the Old City with a wealth of expertise and some humor thrown in for good measure. No one could go wrong having this gentle man as their guide when visiting his city!

Thankfully, the trip back home, though long, was uneventful.

We were incredibly happy with the hotel choices you picked for us as well as the variety of activities. I think the private guides made the trip so special and would recommend any of these guides, but especially Gabriela and Dani, to make a trip over the top.
Though we had our fair share of mishaps (not from your end!), we can't thank you enough for the care you took to make sure our Anniversary Trip to Spain was better than we ever imagined it could be.

This was our second time using Espiritu Travel, and they were wonderful. My husband and I are independent travelers, and I used to spend months (or years) researching and planning our trips. Espiritu has the knowledge and experience that takes a lot of that work off my plate. Karin and Marta are easy to work with and were responsive to our needs and preferences during the planning stages and throughout the trip. The Trip Plan app was so useful, with detailed information on tours (including names and phone numbers for our guides), recommendations for things to see, and info on things like how to be a responsible, respectful traveler and customs specific to our destination. Loved the chat function! I recommend Espiritu to all my friends and will be clients for life.

Marta and Karin planned a wonderful trip to Spain for my family. We wanted to go to a few out of the way places (Capricho de Gaudi and the Windmills of La Mancha) and they made it happen. Alcala De Henares as wonderful too. They have superlative communication throughout the process (which took a few years since the trip was originally scheduled for May of 2020 but was cancelled due to COVID. Great job !

Number one was Carlos Gonalez, our guide. He gave us an amazing education on the history, struggles, and problems in Cuban society. We really appreciated his honest knowledge. Secondly, we loved the booking choices for lodging, food, and activities and the conveniences of private transportation. Thirdly, I really liked the information Espiritu provided in their app regarding international travel and detailed itinerary.

All of our guides were wonderful -- each represented their communities and their country beautifully and welcomed us with open arms. We had a seamless experience with Espiritu from booking, on-site communications, through to our return home. I would recommend them to any travelers looking to experience Cuba and support the Cuban people.

My husband and I did a lot of research to find a tour of Cuba that was right for us. Espiritu Travel was the perfect tour company for us. Karin was very responsive to all of our questions and reached out to us to check-in for questions or concerns from the time we booked our tour to Cuba to the time we left (about three months). Karin worked with a tour manager in Cuba and between the two of them, developed the perfect itinerary. We loved the entire experience and are very grateful to both of them for all the work they did to ensure Neal and I had the best experience possible. Carlos, our tour manager, was efficient, charismatic, and went above and beyond to make sure Neal and I enjoyed our trip. He provided us with a fantastic tour and introduced us to many phenomenal people. We will be forever grateful!

We visited the places we wanted to visit and the artworks and architecture we wanted to see: Prado & Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Alcázar of Seville, Ronda, El Caminito Del Rey, the Alhambra of Granada, Gaudi houses & Sagrada Familia at Barcelona, etc.

It was a trip to experience Span's nature, culture, arts, food, and history.

Espiritu Travel planned and executed a fantastic trip. On the pre-travel side, Karin was incredibly fast, responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. This was especially helpful given the misconceptions/
confusion many Americans (myself included) have about the legality and ease of visiting Cuba. And in country, Eiser was the best tour guide I’ve had while traveling. Overall, I had a fantastic time and feel like I did my small part to contribute to support for the Cuban people. Thanks to Espiritu Travel for making it happen. Would absolutely recommend using Espiritu for Cuba travel.

Was originally going solo, but four friends wanted to go, and Karyn was very communicative and flexible. Our lodging was nice and the the family we stayed with (private room and bathroom) were wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know the family we stayed with (Arelia was great), as well as our tour guide, Eiser and our driver, William. In a complicated country, things went very well.

Great guides. We couldn't have done it without Carlos and Eiser. We did and saw so much!

Every service provided including hotels, tours, guides, and drivers were excellent. Espiritu Travel and Karin take the time to get to know you and tailor recommendations to meet your genuine interests and needs. This includes identification of excellent restaurants with vegetarian options, and a prompt response when a change was needed. Their attention to detail is exceptional. This is our second time working with the company and we will do so again.

I found the overall trip planning experience to be smooth. Marina revised my trip several times with no issue. The experiences selected were delightful, most of the hotels were top notch. My only hesitation in giving a full 5 star rating is the fact that I went on the trip thinking I could easily adjust the hotels and that did not turn out to be the case.

I don’t think I could’ve experienced Cuba any other way that with Espíritu. You really get a true sense of the country. One of the most beautiful parts was a stop (on the way to Viñales) when we visited Las Terrazas. My tour guide was one of the sweetest women ever, and I’ll always remember eating mangoes with her straight from the trees. Going by myself, I always felt very safe on the tours and the free moments. Cuba is not anything like I expected.

I felt that the overall service was as expected but would have a few comments that I think may be helpful in further improving the quality of service further. A key theme I note is the (lack of) attention to details eg:

1) your cover email to this survey makes reference to a trip to "Portugal" whereas it should have been "Spain." The same email address us as Leslie Haywood and Leslie Haywood. You have the complete details of my name and that of my wife and also my surname is mis-spelt - have informed Marina about this but your IT system would not allow for this change.

2) Train ticket for our San Sebastián to Madrid didn't have the seats allocation next to each other. Admittedly, we made a last minute change and may have been subject to availability but would have been nice if we were alerted to this earlier.

3) The name of our Madrid tour guide in the itinerary was stated as "Patricia" and as it turned out the correct name for the guide was "Letitia" - took us a while to connect but we eventually did!

These are not major issues but just thought we highlight these.

On the positive side,

1) ALL the 5 guides we had in San Sebastián, Granada and Madrid were excellent! Friendly and warm and we felt their genuine pride in what they do and for the culture and place.

2) Marina was very responsive to my queries and was always willing to help out e.g. checking on our potential mis-connection from Madrid to Granada, transport pick up for our transfer between Madrid Hotel to Airport.
