Our son passed his driving test today with Andy. First time and with no minors. Andy was absolutely incredible from the off. Clear instruction delivered with patience and an outstanding knowledge. We would highly recommend Andy for driving lessons.

As a novice in UK, I did 4 hours' lessons with Catherine Cox. It was really helpful for me to understand the rules in UK and get used to drive on the left. She is very nice, patient and high efficient.

Paul Hughes has been a really great driving instructor who has made me feel confident behind the wheel by building a good rapport and always cheering me on. As someone who had some previous experience driving, he built on my existing knowledge and supported me to exponentially increase my skills and understanding needed to drive for life and not just to pass a test.

Paul Hughes is an outstanding driving instructor. His deep knowledge, patience, and clear communication make learning to drive both effective and enjoyable. He tailors lessons to fit each student’s needs, helping build confidence and skill. If you want a top-notch driving instructor, Paul Hughes is an excellent choice.

Andy is amazing! He was so patient teaching my son to drive! I’m so glad we found him after asking around and him being recommended, I’m glad we went with him rather than someone else. And my son passed with no faults at all first time! What more can you want?! Perfect from start to finish!

Andy is the best driving instructor I could have found He teaches calmly and patiently, which gives you more self-confidence He is always ready to help in class and always gives you lots of useful tips that you can study at home.
I am very happy with the result and grateful to have found him. I recommend him more than 100% because he is amazing.

Managed to meet a few people at Ellisons and they are some of the nicest and easy going people that you will meet. I had Jason as my instructor and he gave me the confidence to pass first time. He is very easy going and can have a good laugh. He settled any worries I had and eased some of the anxiety I was experiencing. Would recommend to anyone.

Andy spenser was an amazing driving instructor and helped me so much , if I didn't do anything 110% I re done it so I was definitely ready had a laugh every lesson , thank you so much for getting me through the test realy appreciate it..

Woody was a brilliant instructor! Super helpful and friendly. Had a bit of a time crunch between lessons starting and my test, and was converting from automatic USA licence to manual UK one, very pleased to say it was a 1st attempt pass on my driving test. Thanks Woody!!

Driving lessons with Caroline.
Was very calm and instructive, she made me feel confident in my ability to drive. I consider myself lucky to have been taught by Caroline. I will always recommend Ellisons and Caroline to anyone looking to do driving lessons.

Sandy is an excellent driving instructor patient, clear, and encouraging. His calm approach made me feel at ease, and his guidance was spot-on. Thanks to him, I passed my driving test on the first try. Highly recommended!

Was helpful and calm and made it all seem easy and a lot less nerve racking trying things and made sure to get the best out of me and prepare me well before doing my practical driving test.

I’ve been learning with Paul over the last few months, and I can honestly say he’s the best there is. He’s calm, confident and his teaching method brings the best out of you; but at a pace that doesn’t put too much pressure on you. I passed my test today, and my only negative is that I don’t get to have more lessons with Paul! If you’re thinking about learning, I can only assure you that Paul will get you passed. Really good experience passed my test with three driving faults! Sandy my instructor gave me the confidence to become good driver and made driving feel a lot of easier for me by teaching me methods which didn’t feel complicated at all which helped me to pass test comfortably! Thank you for being my instructor all the best Vaughn!

Hasn't been the easiest of journeys for my son with his driving test. But he finally did it today. Cannot thank Paul Hughes enough for his patience and understanding. If you have someone who's not super confident Paul's your man. Going above and beyond to help and encourage.

I started off learning automatic with Wayne, he was very patient with me, very understanding of my nerves, I would panic when I made a mistake but he quickly reassured me and calmly put my mind at rest. I was terrible when I first started driving but within 2 lessons Wayne had me driving like had been for years. After a while I changed to manual with Woody who was the exact same as Wayne, he gave me useful tips and tricks which I used in my test which I know helped me pass. I couldn’t recommend both them and Ellison’s anymore and I’ll make sure I will to all my friends.
