This is regarding EsiRent car rental on Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas, TX. 06-26 to 07-01, 2026.
I sent a letter to their corporate office on July 6. As of July 14 no response.
Employees rude and not safety conscious.
Employee was hesitant about explaining an "early arrival" fee.
Vehicle not ready upon arrival.
Employees never explained rental process, any fees, assist with operating vehicle, no vehicle walk -around .
Engine oil light stayed on; AC was not always cold.
Three able bodied male employees watched me (a female with three bags) struggle with my bags and load them myself into the back of the bus. Not one of them stepped up, asked, or attempted to assist me.
Shuttle driver drove over speed limit while scrolling and texting on cell. Shouted "YOU'RE WELCOME" at me when he removed my bags to set them on the street upon arrival at Love field.
NIGHTMARE company. Also, read other reviews- they are spot on.

There is no communication before hand to let you know that once you have booked everything on line that this is an off site rental company and that you basically have to figure out how to find them and their shuttle driver to get to their site. The wait time at the counter is extremely long and on top of that you must have a copy of your own personal insurance policy, they need to put an extra hold on your credit card,and some of there cars have damage and they will still put you in something that's unsafe (cracked window shield from side to side) there not open until 8am so if you have an early flight you have to get your on transport from there company back to your airport! The only positive was the young minority female who just happened to make a second round to the airport and found us after we had been searching for a ride for twenty minutes, she was kind and helpful in assisting us by encouraging the others to move our rental services along. OTHERWISE I SUGGEST YOU AVOID BOOKING WITH THEM AND ANY BOOKING COMPANY THAT USES THEM

Avoid at all cost! Rental fully paid for on website yet requested to pay extra £10 per day as CDW- no one bothered explaining what that is and wasn’t optional. We waited 2 hrs in the cold for a shuttle that was supposed to run twice hourly and after a 15 hrs flight we were too tired to argue. But NEVER will we use this company again!

Intial pick up was fine
However we had to take picture of all the damage already on the car to show them
Proof it wasn’t made by us
However on return of the car they are now claiming 4 days later there is a chip
On the windscreen

They have not provided any proof of this and also the fact that how do we know it’s not been rented out since

The company are adamant on charging us over £170 of something we have no knowledge to and without proof it was returned like that

Anything could have happened from
The day of return to the day of them claiming we caused damage

Do not use at all may be a cheap price but they are out to make money by false accusations

NOTHING about this company was good NOTHING!!!! I’d rather pay triple than use this place again.

SCAM COMPANY. Online the daily rate was cheapest. However, MANY hidden fees. If you don't have insurance card (no other car rental companies I've been to have needed this, so we didn't have ours) you must purchase their insurance (appox $40 a day). They charge $10/day for toll pass. It cost $700 for a week. Email from company does not tell you to bring insurance card. Wait time: 1 hour. Only 2 people working on a Sat. Employee at counter was the only positive from this experience. Company out of UK and hard to get a hold of anyone. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN.

Heathrow airport , Saturday morning car collection, 30 minutes to get to site from airport.Such long queues at rental desk, self service would not work, extra insurance for £40, extremely costly on top of rental. Then I had to wait on car, overall it took two and half hours to get on the road. I would not recommend.

Polite efficient service from Anthony at Leeds Bradford Airport branch.

I have booked with Easirent online chat several times over the past 18 months. Whoever I have spoken to on the online chat have been very helpful with types of vehicles and even given discounted rates where available from what the prices were shown through getting a quote online by myself on the website.

Thierno and Victor at the Southampton branch were extremely helpful.

1114731 after a disappointing start going through rentalcars.com Rebecca has been very helpful in smoothing the way and making it easy for us to work out what has been happening.

The service I received from the Leeds Branch was a total nightmare. I rented a van for a week, had a puncture on the front tyre the first day. I attempted to change the tyre with the spare and that was flat too! Called the branch at 7pm to inform them of the problem and was abruptly told by a member of staff that I needed to pay for the repair.

The Leeds branch helped themselves to £78.48 from my account, it took 4 weeks to obtain a refund. I called almost everyday for the branch to issue the refund, however on a daily basis the staff members told me the refund would be issued that day but that action was not completed until 4 weeks later. I would highly recommend for prospective customers to NOT USE this service. Save yourselves time and money and go elsewhere!

Never been to such a friendly rental company.

I could go into a lot of detail, but won't bother aside from one small story.

Anthony at the Leeds branch was very helpful, and sorted the return of the car excellently.

Although the Leeds branch doesn't open until 0600, flights from Leeds Bradford start at 0630, so it's difficult to drop off a car when flight times don't match office hours.

That said, Anthony was great when helping return the car on a one way drop from East Midlands.

Car was a lot better than booked, experience at East Mids wasn't great... On pickup, informed there was a problem with all their 2017 plate Peugeots and that they never show "full tank" only 7/8ths.

That's fine - aside from when I filled it up to drop it off, wow, what do you know - it went to full on the gauge...

As with all car hire, booked for around £20 and total bill was nearer £140 - one way drop fee, extra insurance, etc etc - but that's commensurate with every other car hire company out there. You never pay what you book for. The whole industry is suspect.

With this in mind, Anthony was very helpful and of course, all of these quirks were unrelated to his helpful and great service.

Never ever go there again. I had experience like, I was about to rob in day light.
