I'm very impressed with this company. I ordered a book to be sent from USA to the UK. It arrived very promptly, well- packaged and in good condition. It was really helpful to be emailed with progress updates and tracking numbers. Thank you and I would have no hesitation in ordering from you again.

Bought a copy of Exiles from Earth, ex-library copy. There is no mention whatsoever of a dust jacket, but I've never actually received a book without one unless it specifies otherwise. At $11 for this non-rare hardcover I assumed it would have one. It didn't, and I'd normally have let it go but their email has a customer satisfaction guarantee, so I emailed them. That was useless, as they just pasted their blurb about book conditions and did nothing else. Between that and taking over a week to actually ship the book despite claiming it would be within 24 hours, can't say I'll be back again.

The book arrived, well packaged, in a very acceptable time considering it’s coming from the US. Did enquire how delivery was proceeding and Tom kept me well informed. Didn’t have a problem, good service.

I have been looking for an affordable copy of a particular book and spotted it listed by Ergodebooks at a significantly lower price than other sellers. I had never heard of them before but I placed the order, then checked Trustpilot only to see a series of very negative reviews. Accordingly I emailed Ergodebooks to raise my concerns. They confirmed my order and assured me I would receive the book I'd ordered in 2-5 weeks. It arrived safely this morning and in good condition. I am extremely satisfied.

I ordered via amazon Spain (not sure how it came through this site) received one volume from two that I had ordered and returned the single volume. No response, no refund. Amazon spain is hopeless as is ergode books

I ordered from them as they were the cheapest and then i read the reviews here and was really nervous, but I needn't have been as my order arrived a couple of weeks later, no problems at all.

Complete scam, takes your money and ignores you. I would've lost my money if not for Amazon's help.
Further, I suspect this isn't even an actual US based company, just using voice over internet protocol to fake their phone numbers. To further my claim, they reached out to me asking me to remove my review on Amazon. Extremely shady.

Very very bad experience with this compagnis. Without mo explanation.. he cancel my order and no refound my money after 10 calls to amazon.. i give 0 to 10 for this business

We are a book seller and this company on at least 10 occasions has purchased a book from us off our amazon and ebay stores to send to their customers. They have us ship it for them. (Probably the only books buyers get based on reviews). On their website they are selling the book for 5 to 10x more than it costs them on Amazon to order from us. This is a scam I'm sure they are just drop shippers advertising stock book images on their website selling for more then drop shipping from other booksellers with used like new listings to make more money! BEWARE!

I bought a book on impulse that is £££ everywhere else on the internet. It arrived to the UK within a few weeks in perfect condition (apart from a few creases at the bottom of the dust cover which is to be expected)

I was really worried as as soon as I made the purchase I saw bad reviews online. I was worried the book wouldn't arrive, wouldn't be the special edition etc..

I can't speak for the bad reviews but as a first time purchaser from the UK, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely use this company again for any books I can't find elsewhere!

I was a bit worried at first buying from an unknown seller but this site had a pretty good deal for a hardcover book and a specific edition. I did not have any issue with payments/charges on my card, came very quickly, in perfect condition, and it was what I ordered.

Total scam. Took my money, and a week later said book was "damaged in transit" (they never even sent it). They did refund my money, BUT—suddenly, I had 11 fraudulent charges worth $500 on my bank card used ONLY with this scammer! A complete nightmare with my bank account now (though luckily the bank informed me of suspicious activity to stop more of the bleeding). I think they capture your cc info, and sell it to fraudsters, or use it themselves. STAY AWAY!

Scam Company. Do not purchase from them. I was sent the wrong book, which I then returned and they are now claiming I did not send it.

I purchased a hard cover collected edition graphic novel from them. They purposely sent the wrong cheaper product which was a single soft comic issue of the same series. Now they are flat out refusing to send me the correct product. What they send was worth $5 versus the $40 book I actually paid for. If you look this seller up yourself you will discover a long history of them doing this to both their customers and scamming their suppliers. I would caution using Abebooks as well who continue to allow Ergodebooks to scam people through their website. market.

Do not order from this company or Abe books who they are somehow affiliated with. Ergode books was totally non responsive, did not send my order and kept the money! I would never ever do business with either of these companies.

Offered a rare book for less than anywhere else, claimed it “shipped” a day later; no tracking info, no response to repeated inquiries. Obviously never had the book in the first place. At best a bookjacker, at worst a fraudulent scam. Over a month later still refusing to answer questions or refund money despite average ship time from Tx to New York being under a week.

Absolute scam. They refuse to give me tracking information, refuse to respond to emails or calls. They took my money and ran. I plan on reporting this to my bank as fraud and reversing payment, and reporting them to the better business bureau as well. These people are absolutely horrendous. do not do business with them.
