Apart from the parts which were delayed (these were not your company problems), works carried out by both Rob and Allan were excellent and professional.

A fast response to a request for a wasp's nest treatment with attendance precisely on time. Found a second wasps nest of which I had not been aware. Advised that third wasps nest which is not accessible would probably die off naturally during the winter.
Helpful, courteous and efficient.

Very pleasant man who did the job quickly and gave other advice on water supply and water meter.

Had an electrical breakdown.Contacted ERG from their website. Electrician booked and confirmed he would be on site within 4 hours. The guy arrived in 3 hours....sorted the problem...and even swept up the slight mess the work generated. Not the cheapest, but great service and overall, great value.

Still waiting for 37 invoices to be paid nearly all going back over a year. I will keep putting reviews up on here until I get paid. Absolutely disgraceful how they treat their subcontractors.

DO NOT USE
They are basically a call centre, they take on jobs and then google search the nearest and cheapest contractor and charge outrageous prices. They do not use their own tradesman. I know because I am one of them. Not paid me for 4 months. Bunch of chancers.
My advise, do your own google search and save yourself a load of money.

Problem resolved next day. Kept me informed on expected arrival time. No fuss, straightforward fix within the hour. Very happy with result.

Effective service. Quick appointment but very disappointed with lack of openness re charges during the call. Although my card details were quickly taken the additional charge of £135 + VAT per hour or part of, however small after first hour, was not revealed until after the booking. I was given the impression that £135 was the amount for the job. While the bill does need to reflect the time taken, £485 for 2.5 hours is clearly excessive.

It took too long. I was without hot water and heating for a week

Ian was very impressive. He was so knowledgeable and very thorough. He was also a pleasure to have in our home.

Told me a plumber would arrive within 4 hours to fix a leak. As I was desperate I agreed to pay the rather expensive hourly rate for ‘urgent jobs’.
When I enquired 2.5 hours later for an ETA I was told that a plumber was not available. They said that tomorrow morning might be possible.
The call centre has no contact or control of the actual operatives.

An excellent service - I had a blocked toilet. Even though a plumber wasn't eventually available on the day ERG ensured I had a booking for the next available slot. The plumber was efficient, very professional and gave a few hints a tips (I have a septic tank and some suggestions about good chemicals to use was great). As a service I would recommend this company, and the price was not unreasonable.

The electrician was a nice guy and identified the fault but could only provide a temporary fix. He told me what he thought needed doing and where to source the parts, which I was grateful for, but the outrageous price that ERG charged for only half fixing the problem make me want to go elsewhere to get it sorted properly.

I had the pleasure of communicating with Keith Pinnock, who helped me greatly with a flooding issue I had encountered whenever we used the sink or dishwasher in the kitchen.

Rather than advising that I need the help of a plumber or drainage person, which would have cost £100's, Keith aided me step by step on the phone.

I was able to fix the drainage issue on my own, and Keith was very supportive, even offering that I ring him back if I need further help.

The service was swift and efficient, and I was kept informed at each stage. The electrician who came to complete the work was on time, and seemed very efficient and professional.

They state a price then all an extra amount on the bill for not doing any work

Drain specialists instantly knew what the problem was. Fixed it no problem,no mess no hassles.

Managed to come at short notice, and did the job well.

I have carried out numerous contract work for Erg. They did not pay so I threatened them with small claims court, I had emails from the accounts department saying how sorry they were and my payment was being processed. This is from January 23. In the end I filled a claim through the small claims courts which they ignited. I have now issued a CCJ against them. Still no payment.

I’ve had a letter today saying ERG have gone into liquidation. I’ve not been paid £3000 for the work I carried out for this company. Beware of internet only companies!
