EnviroMC was recommended to me by a friend, who said the server uptime was good and the prices were decent.

I've had nothing but issues since the moment I started using them.

The website kept giving me an error whenever I tried to create a subdomain for our server, and I ended up opening a support ticket through the website regarding this. There was a response from a staff member a couple days later that said they would fix the issue. The ticket was closed but the subdomain issue was never fixed. This issue remained even up until I decided to cancel the service.

On April 6th, I tried upgrading our server plan. Their website was having difficulty loading which resulted in multiple invoices being generated for the same purchase. I opened a ticket the next day asking for a refund for these extra charges. There was one response from a staff member on April 9th that offered a refund and asked for the transaction IDs of the unwanted payments. ON April 10th, I provided all of the invoices and transaction IDs. There were no other responses from staff afterwards and no refund was ever given. I had to go through my bank to get the extra charges reversed.

On April 19th, I decided to cancel my service. I put in a cancellation request and removed my bank card from their website. 10 days later on April 29th my bank card was charged for another month of service despite the fact that I had REMOVED IT from the website. I logged into my EnviroMC billing panel and my service was still active despite my cancellation request. There were no cards registered on my account so I do not understand why or how they charged my card. When I contacted staff about this they suggested the payment was made through PayPal. After logging into PayPal and checking my activity I can confirm this is not the case.

I've now had to get an entirely new bank card to stop this company from charging me for a service I tried to cancel. Every time I've attempted to get in touch with their customer support I get radio silence. It seems to me that they only have 3 or 4 staff at any given time.

I do not know where all these great reviews are coming from but if you want to avoid an experience like that one I had, I highly suggest you do not use this hosting company.

Edit: For clarification, our server was not even a month old. The server was purchased on April 2nd, and the new billing period starts on May 2nd. I was charged on April 29th and I cancelled on April 19th long before the new billing period started, so the charges were unjust.

I would post an image but TrustPilot doesn't allow that.. I find it kind of unfortunate that it takes a bad review to actually get staff attention. I also just noticed I never got an invoice for this charge, and it is visible on my online bank account but there is no mention of it on my EnviroMC billing panel. This payment was not made through PayPal. I've talked to my bank and they can confirm this. It was made through my card. This does not change the fact that I was charged before the end of the current billing period, AFTER I CANCELLED THE SERVICE. I also checked that I did not have recurring payments to you on PayPal and there were none.

Edit (July 21, 2022): Wow EnviroMC, you guys really are petty. I thought this was over and done with but this will be the third time you've tried to have my review taken down. First, you attempt to get it taken down because it's "unverified". Then, you try to tell Trustpilot that I "reviewed the wrong business", even though I'm clearly referring to EnviroMC in my review. Now you're flagging this review as being "advertising or promotional" because it has an Imgur code to an image providing proof that you unjustly charged me? I've removed the Imgur code as per your request, but please understand: my experience with your services were absolutely abysmal and my review has been an honest reflection of that. Rather than repeatedly flagging this review trying to get it removed, please work on improving your services and providing more adequate customer support.

Setting up a small budget Minecraft server was super easy and quick! Prices are affordable and very reasonable. Easy access to files with SFTP and having two extra port allocations have been very useful! We have only needed to use support once and the problem was solved very quickly!

I was able to setup a (cheap) server for my brother in less than in hour. Works like a charm! I have no complaints and will 10/10 recommend them again.

When I first looked at this service I kinda figured it was a scam. The price was much lower than usual but I figured id give id a go. As it turns out the server hosting is pretty solid for the price! I can run a server with 4 players on a big modpack for only 8 bucks, which in comparison to the competitors is really great. I was having some issues with my server to start but the support team responded to my ticket quickly and fixed the issue. Would recommend, if you're going for budget make sure you got enough cores though.

Been using them for almost 2 months and it's been great. Server runs well, loving the control panel, support is great.

Affordable service, and when a problem happened involving payment, I got a response in minutes and it was resolved just as quick. Definitely the only server host I recommend.

I've been hosting with this service since December, following a switch from a previously unstable VPS provider.

Service, especially for the price, has been solid, with the CEO himself (Nerd) being incredibly easy to work with. I'll likely continue to host with Enviro for as long as my community is thriving, and perhaps even after that.

The cheap prices and relatively slightly better hardware this host offers in its plans are its main attraction for buyers. But the saying that "you get what you pay for" gets real very fast the moment you run into a problem. Do not in any way purchase their expensive premium and dedicated plans with their terrible business practices and staff. You deserve better, and there are hosts which charge the fair price of what they need to provide just that and more.

The more technically complicated your problem is, the less likely you are to receive adequate responses from the support staff. I once had an untested plugin causing JVM crashes which they lazily diagnosed as a lack of memory problem, which simply wasn't the case. It resolved immediately after I removed the plugin. They get more money, I get more useless RAM.

Their response times for tickets are extremely slow, hence their inadequate responses. They literally mention that you better have checked around other places before approaching them. Just goes to show burdened they are. Understaffed too. The business owner (going by the name Nerd) is the only one actually doing the work, and the other two of his assistants seem to either lack control or knowledge on how to run the place. The staff looks so busy and inattentive that they can hardly assist you beyond billing and account concerns, which they can mess up as well.

Their discord server is their fastest gateway to support, and is advertised as such on their official website. The community support section is what's giving their terrible support system CPR to keep it alive. But it has its own problems. With most small hosting companies looking to make a name amongst the prominent businesses out there, they have to start out by sponsoring and favoring people to gain partnership support. They have these sponsored partners which enjoy complete 'diplomatic immunity' in their community sections, who can trivialize your complaints and do whatever they want, making it look like they have run of the place. If they spent so much money getting a better staff team, they'd have a better name. Recently, their database server ran out of storage for the second time for more than 24 hours, and while I raised my concern that I've had to uninstall my bans plugin, which leaves my server exposed, I was told to find alternative methods to put up with their downtimes and told that I'm just looking for problems to complain about. How frequently their discord bot named "Hextrix" reports shortages and downtimes should be an insult to this host alone, and anything that follows should be their PR salvaging team. This host hardly has the shame on how frequently their services go down, how can the latter exist?

There actually exists an antithesis to the PR salvaging team. You will find the staff, especially "nerd", going on about how you need to act nice to get quick service. Judging from their community, which resembles quite a cult, you have to stay very bottled up upon their horrible state of affairs. Just look at some of the absurd reviews for this company on this very platform; "would simp for nerdychan" and whatnot. The community is a cult fan club which will ban you from their discord, their fastest form of support, if you speak out. Just call them a "cult worshipping echo chamber" on their discord and that's the end for you. Their web tickets are then the purgatory for any and all banned people. If this is how bad their discord is, good luck getting help on their web tickets.

You need ample technical knowledge and system admin experience, or better resources to seek support from if you want to proceed with this host. If you have spare money lying around, please just spare yourself the trouble, anxiety and confusion. Go to a place like PebbleHost etc. and stop supporting such a community and bad business practices. You are just not hosting your server but your own community too, and this host will let both of them down.

UPDATE:
Anyone who wants to verify the reply to this review by them can go to places they mention and judge for themselves on the kind of harassment they did and are still doing. And Discord is a messaging platform where sent messages can be edited/deleted without any time constraints. Received two false flags on my review so far, both bogus. They're playing dirty, roaring like lions in their replies but are opportunists hoping that one of their false flags is eventually not noticed by me and this review is taken down.

After my review, they shifted me to an unconfigured machine without permission or warning, and my server was down for a day. My service was then suspended. They say I can refund which I didn't ask for. Server was then in endless transfer loop. Canceled it myself, can't verify the refund. I lost players emergency shifting to a new host.

Fantastic, quality host especially for the money. Their support is phenomenal and quick!

Very reliable. Support came in just a few minutes. The panel looks really good, and the ping wasn't noticeable at all. The premium prices didn't feel too premium, cheaper than usual as a matter of fact. Very helpful staff and you get what you really pay for!

Very cheap minecraft server, but while setting up the server i ran into some issues, but i got excellent help (from Simon, a staff member in their discord :) )

Recently purchased a 5GB budget plan from EnviroMC and I couldn't be happier with the performance! From some research I did on hosting, EnviroMC offers very fair and competitive hosting options and is a clear winner in terms of pricing. The server panel GUI is very clean and easy to navigate. Great customer service as well! Opened a ticket for a small issue and it was resolved by the owner within minutes. Highly recommend this Minecraft server host!

Very good host. Their support on Discord/Tickets is absolutely amazing and fast. You're treated like a human, not a number in a waiting list. Performance per dollar is pretty good. Hardware is very fast an up to date (At least from premium packages). Where issues do arise they fix them very fast and efficiently.

EnviroMC servers are great. They are cheap, and you know your money is helping the environment. I haven't had any issues and am super impressed. The customer service is great. The server panel ran through the web browser is very easy to use. I subscribe for a 4GB server and my friends and I have a great time.
