Terrible company
Our reservation was for a combustion engine car, not an electric one, which turned out to be the case. The person who checked us in said it was that or nothing. They handed us the keys, showed us where it was parked, and when we got to the car, there was absolutely no one there to explain how these types of vehicles work, how to charge them, or anything at all. Luckily, a Hertz employee gave us a brief explanation of how they work and how to charge them.
It's the first time I'm going to drive a vehicle like this, and I think it's their responsibility to explain how it works.
On the other hand, we've lost hours of our trip charging the car, going to gas stations that don't offer electric charging, gas stations that only accept charging through an app we don't have and don't want, gas stations whose instructions are only in Norwegian, and problems upon problems.
When returning the car, it was more of the same. There was no one in the parking lot to check that the car was in perfect condition and with the same load as when we picked it up. The person inside the airport didn't care; they just told us to hand over the keys and that was that.
Therefore, I request financial compensation for all the damages caused and for the time we lost with this rental.
I also want to say that I will never book a car with you again, and I advise everyone I know against doing so.
