The initial quote for the bare engine rebuild was £2,845.00 do you now understand the meaning of "BARE ENGINE REBUILD" using your own ancillaries try to repair them and service them if they are in repairable condition at all! If they are beyond the repair, only then those parts will come on top for which you'll only have to pay during the job, the rest engine job price would be paid upon completion once the job is done.
We have sent this same pattern quotation to our hundreds of customers, and we always tell our customers from day one that this is not the fixed price job there could be extra parts coming on top for which you'll only pay not the extra labour.
I'll also be share the same official quote here as well to see for you if you can read and find me one time there is written that the quote you agreed upon was the fixed price job. Let alone you claim we forced you!
We have seen alot of customers just like you who lack of funds and can't pay in the end where the cost is risen, we invited you to the garage to come and see for yourself if there is any foul play you may think of! You never actually bother to come down to the garage. Which means you're on the wrong side of the tracks. All your fake allegations and claims and baseless Mutahir.

What does the Engine Recondition consist of?
1. The Engine is stripped to component level, washed, and cleansed.
2. The Head Gasket Kit is completely changed. (MAIN CAUSE OF ENGINE HEAT UP)
3. The Cylinder Head is then stripped down and checked for wear, cracks and for trueness then pressure tested and resurfaced as necessary.
4. Timing Chain Kit / Timing belt kit are completely changed.
5. Piston Rings are changed.
6. The Cylinder Block is re-honed and or re-bored if necessary.
7. Valve guides are checked for wear and replaced as necessarily valve seats are cut.
8. Connecting Rods are re-honed.
9. The main and big end bearings are replaced. (MAIN CAUSE OF BOTTOM END KNOCK).
10. Oil Pump is reconditioned. (Charges apply if needs to be Changed) (MAIN CAUSE OF ENGINE SEIZURE)
11. New/re-faced valves are lapped into the Cylinder-head and vacuum tested.
12. The Camshaft is checked for wear and re-polished if required.
13. The engine is then reassembled with new gaskets and seals.
Note: This quote covers a bare engine rebuild using your own ancillaries (injectors, turbo, fuel pump, oil pump, etc.), which must be inserviceable condition.
The price assumes your exchange unit (crank, head, and block) is usable. Any additional parts required after strip down will be charged separately, but no extra labor cost will apply during the rebuild. This is not a fixed-price job, as unforeseen extras may arise during the process.
