The technical support doesn't exist. I bought that router and since then i am having technical issue. I messaged customer service, they never answered.

Maybe I am unlucky after reading the reviews regarding the fast response from encounter and there quick response to any queries.
I sent a a question in the 1st November and didn't receive a reply sent the same message on the 17th November I didn't get a reply till 30th November asking if I still wanted any help with my question which I found strange as I had asked twice,I responded with yes .
It's the 3rd of December guess what still no answer to my question, so now thinking of packing this rubbish up and looking elsewhere as obviously there so called excellent quick response to any help that is needed doesn't work in my case.
Hear we go ,expected an answer after reading this, nothing,awful company to deal with

I've just ask, if Encrouter disposes of hidden network functionality. Answer was "not yet" and after my reason explanation there was implemented it in cca 2 months with new Firmware and App release. Such great and personal approach of Encrouter team! Thanks.

Encrouter is a solution that encapsulated all my VPN needs within a single but powerful product. This router combines robust performance with the ability to run VPN tunnels for every or any of the connected device.

The level of control and remote management capabilities, coupled with regular updates introducing new features, reflects a genuine commitment of the company behind Encrouter to its product and its users' experience.

Encrouter receives security patches and feature enhancements on a monthly basis. Many times with completely new features which expands the usability of the product.

In my experience, it's arguably one of the best router I've owned. With support for WPA3 and Wi-Fi 6, it competes effortlessly with other top-of-the-line routers on the market. I consistently achieve the same throughput as if I were directly connected via an Ethernet cable.

Moreover, the value for the money is awesome. On the rare occasions I've required technical assistance, the customer support team has been prompt, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in resolving my queries, providing a level of care that makes me feel truly valued as a customer.

The VPN service is very sophisticated and adjustable. The GUI of the app is intuitive. You will not have connection issues since you can choose to tunnel to multiple VPN services in parallell. I don't have VPN activated for my TV, whilst for any other device I run them through the VPN server I see fit at a particular moment. This granularity of control is something unique to Encrouter. Today I take for granted these features but reality is that afaik only Encrouter has successfully created a user-friendly approach to this use case.

Amazing VPN with a great mobile app, and amazing privacy. The router is good too if you need something that can do almost anything you want.

Literally the best when it comes to VPN! The router is great as well, very good signal through out the apartment! And anytime I had a question, customer service helped me immediately. I recommend encrouter for all who are looking to protect their data

I had not changed my router for a long time before I got the Encrouter. I was curious as to what the impact of a newer router would be on your download and upload speeds so I did some tests.

I tried all my devices in all the rooms of my apartments both with my old router and with the Encrouter and I was happy to see a quite substantial increase. I'd say if you're sitting around using your (really rather substantially) old router you might not be getting the full speeds you are paying your ISP for. Time to upgrade!

I went from average download speeds of about 30mbs to over 120mbs averaged out across the whole apartment, including rooms 2-3 walls away from the router and in the same room as the router I got an increase from about 50-70mbs on my old router to 230-400mbs on the Encrouter.

While that might say more about my old router than the new one I still found it somewhat eye opening and would put that in the pros column of why one should upgrade their router.

In addition to this, what sets Encrouter apart from other routers I've had in the past is obviously the VPN functionality. I have had great fun with the functionality of setting different devices into different VPN groups so that the TV is set to for instance UK to watch some series that are only available there while one PC is in Sweden and the other in the US.

I also tried out swapping VPN locations to shop for cheaper flight tickets. Good fun I'd say.

I've had it now for a bit more than half a year I think and it's been operating flawlessly throughout. Very happy with it and I'd recommend it.
