I often think that people of the future will look at us and say: “Hey, those guys were still using emails. Can you believe it?”

While I cannot wait for the cultural revolution that will finally change our habits, I decided to try Empla: a product that, very practically, improves our relationship with the tool rather than pretending the tool does not exist.

By exchanging two or three messages a day, both ways, I feel more in control of my work and family appointments, the essential bits of the newsletters hoarding my inbox, the unpaid bill, the stale backup of my PC, the subscription about to expire, and the old friend who reaches out but whose message gets lost among hundreds of LinkedIn “you are popular” alerts.

Email is still absurd. Empla makes it significantly less absurd.

Empla.io has been incredibly easy and useful to set up. Connecting the virtual agent to my email and calendar was simple, smooth, and took very little effort. The daily summaries have been clear, accurate, and helpful. The agent learned what information matters to me very quickly. After only a few interactions, it became very good at discerning what is useful and what is not, which makes the experience feel personalized without needing a lot of setup. Overall, Empla.io saves time, reduces clutter, and makes staying organized much easier.
