Bespoke Emma Willis shirts are in my experience a delight to wear. Colour and fabrics for work shirts are distinctive and always look good with or without a tie.

Deeply disappointing
Deeply disappointing experience and a complete mismatch between branding and reality.
In-store, the service is all polish and reassurance — you’re made to feel like everything is handled with precision and care.
The shirt I received became tighter after a single wash, to the point it had to be thrown away. This bore no resemblance to the sample I was fitted in.
When I raised this in-store, the response was dismissive: I was told this “never happens” and no meaningful attempt was made to investigate or resolve the issue. The handling of measurements during the fitting process also did not inspire confidence, which is concerning for a business built on made-to-measure garments.
Customer service was particularly disappointing. After raising the issue, I received a response from Emma Willis stating: “I can’t do more than that and have already given a great deal of time and trouble to your one shirt purchase,” along with an explanation of her wider responsibilities and why she could not “drop everything” to look into it.
This response speaks volumes about the brand’s attitude towards its customers. At no point was I expecting anyone to “drop everything” — only a genuine attempt to resolve a clear issue with an expensive garment. Instead, the message framed a legitimate customer concern as an inconvenience.
For a brand positioned at this level, that attitude towards aftercare is frankly unacceptable.

Dear Sir,
I am very sorry to hear of your great disappointment with our service and product.
The ready to wear shirt that was bought in our Jermyn Street shop was returned for reasons of potential shrinkage. Both my bespoke cutters and I measured the shirt, and it matched the intended size.
I offered to meet in person to show this comparison. Several weeks later an appointment was requested that day or the following day, unfortunately I was engaged on both days at this short notice.
I could not value my customers more and am aware that my 32 employees and I depend on their kind support.
It saddens me that you feel this way about your experience at Emma Willis.
